He finally got to meet the person he most waited for. When he got inside the room he felt like he could almost fly. It's a weird feeling, almost like seeing a lover who lives miles away. Well, not lovers, right? After all both are males so...
But soon after that feeling disappeared and a heavy feeling came instead. The boy he saw was nothing like the boy he drew, the boy he drew had beautiful brunette hair, but the one laying in bed had brown lifeless hair, so thin. The boy in the paintings was healthy and strong while the young man infront of levi was thin, pale, weak. There were all kind of machines connecting to the sleeping kid, machines that helped him breath, machines that mesured his heart beat, a bag of liquids attached to his hand, levi almost got the feeling as if the person infront of him was dying. "You fell asleep... Sorry im late" the raven said as he sat on the bed near eren. "Hmn?" The sleepy brunette woke up slowly, it took him a second to realize where he is until he jumped on the man sitting on his bed "levi!!" He said whilw hugging the other. It felt like its been forever since the last time they hugged, at least for eren. At first levi didnt know what to do, he was pretty shocked from the situation "e-eren?!" He muttered, but after a few moments he gave into the hug. He could hear every breath of eren, it was so heavy almost choking to hear.
"Levi, i need to tell you the truth before you leave tommorow" eren said, looking at levi. Finally the raven got to see the entire face of the one he was waiting for. "As you can see, my condition is not getting any better. In fact, the doctor said i have two more months, and well ive seen the doctor last month which means..." He said as he kept breathing slowly. "It means you have one month... No. Thats not right eren, you are lying. Dont give me that bullshit, there's must be something.." levi said, denying the facts. "Levi" eren stopped him "im sorry. But its true. We tried everything, but in this life right now i dont have much time left, so please let me tell you my whole story" eren said cupping the other's face. Usualy it would creep levi out if another guy would touch his face like that, but right here right now felt right. And so he nodded, letting eren talk. "A very long time ago, and maybe in another universe, you and me used to know each other. Actually we both were in the same army, you were my commander, i was another soldier in your troop. We were more than this, we were lovers. With us used to live titans and transformers. Titans used to eat humans and so we fought them. One night you came to my room, you said you feel like something wrong is about to happen, as if you will die tommorow, so i embraced you in my arms and you made love to me." He stopped to take a breath. Levi felt confused, lovers? Make love? To another male??? Isnt that a bit.. weird? "And so, while we both were wrapped in each other's arms you promised me that if you die you will meet me in another life, no metter how hard it will be, or how many times you will always meet me and maybe even marry me if it will be possible" he continued. "Well, you were right with your feelings, but you werent the one dying. A titan ate my face, and then my heart and lungs, right in front of your face" it all connected suddenly, the dreams, the creatures, the boy. "We met many times before, between the times, every time you remembered everything perfectly, you told me that in our first life you killed yourself dough to depression and to humanity failing. We even got to marry each other, we had a kid, but everytime something happened to me, a car crush, a stab, poisoning. On our last life i asked you to forget me, because watching me die again and again will be too painful. It worked. Well, partly. I guess your promise is still stronger" he giggled and coughed few times. It suddenly all came back to levi, he remembered and tears rolled down his cheek uncontrolabley. And it's true, losing his lover time after time was too painful. "There must be something we can do, im not giving up again" levi said, brushing eren's thin hair between his fingers. "The only option is flying abroad to get the madicine for my heart and my lungs, it has a 50% chance of working. But it costs too much, and i dont think i'll be able to survive a flight" eren said
