Lisa leaned against Jungkook's chest, a sly smile gracing her lips as she replied, "No need to rush it; not everyone's here yet. Let's wait until the room is filled to the brim. I want to see her go from smiling brightly to ugly crying."

Y/N couldn't help but laugh and commented, "It seems you have quite a strong dislike for her."

Lisa shrugged, taking another sip of her champagne. "I'm merely seeking retribution for what she did to me. It's her own fault for deceiving me," she declared. "Furthermore, this is a strike against my uncle, that greedy man. It's a mission worth pursuing. Besides, I'm helping you guys get back at her for all the wrongs she's done in the past."

"Thank you, Ms. Manobal, for your considerate gesture. I have great respect for you," Y/N expressed her gratitude with a warm smile as she accepted a glass of champagne from a passing waiter. However, just as she was about to propose a toast, her glass was swiftly swiped from her hand.

Y/N shot Jimin an annoyed glare as he replaced it with a glass of juice, stating firmly, "You shouldn't be drinking alcohol; this is a better choice."

Protesting, Y/N insisted, "I wasn't planning to drink it; I just wanted to make a toast!"

Jimin maintained his stance, urging her, "No, be a good girl and use this glass of orange juice instead."

Y/N playfully rolled her eyes and reluctantly took the juice, raising it toward Lisa. "Although it's just a glass of juice, I'd still like to offer a sincere toast to you," she said.

Lisa, wearing a smile, raised her champagne glass and responded, "Cheers." Then, she set her glass down and looped her arm through Jungkook's. "Alright, I'm going to take a short break with my fiancé. You all just sit back and enjoy," she announced before leading Jungkook away from the group.

As Lisa and Jungkook strolled through the hall, they couldn't help but notice how heads frequently turned and eyes followed their every move. It was their first public appearance together, naturally drawing a great deal of attention. However, Lisa chose to view the attention from a different perspective.

"They're looking at you," she mused to Jungkook, "and they're probably thinking about how lucky you are to have me as your future wife."

To her astonishment, Jungkook gently placed his hand on her slender waist, lowering his head to meet her gaze. "I think so too," he confessed.

Lisa was taken aback by his response and playfully remarked, "Second Lead, you've changed."

With a grin, Jungkook replied, "You are the product of your environment."

Lisa quipped, "So you mean it's because of me?"

"What do you think?" Jungkook replied, his tone teasing.

Impatiently, Lisa prodded him in the waist with her elbow and asked, "What are you smiling at?"

He chuckled and affectionately replied, "Nothing, I'm just thinking about how fortunate I am to have such an amazing woman to marry."

"You must have done something remarkable in your past life," Lisa playfully remarked, "or else, how could you have crossed paths with someone like me?"

Lisa added. "But I believe I must've done something equally great to have the chance to meet you."

Jungkook responded by tightening his grip around her waist.

Their playful banter was interrupted when a familiar voice spoke, "It seems that my niece and Mr. Jeon are getting along quite well. You two are exchanging flirtatious banter at the party."

Jungkook and Lisa looked up to find Lisa's uncle and Seulgi approaching them. Lisa couldn't help but notice Seulgi's radiant smile, which she found rather irritating. Despite her feelings, Lisa managed to return the smile, all the while pondering how different Seulgi's expression would be later that night when she revealed the incriminating photos to everyone.

Lisa's uncle appeared benevolent and genuinely concerned for his niece. He remarked, "It seems like our Lisa has made the right choice this time. Otherwise, she wouldn't have switched her fiance overnight, would she? She had two previous engagements before hopefully settling with Mr. Jeon."

Her first fiance had been Park Jimin, a decision that her father had initially supported. However, it soon became apparent that Jimin was rekindling his relationship with his ex-wife. Many assumed that Jimin had left Lisa, and in a surprisingly short span, she became engaged to Kim Mingyu. The rapid succession of engagements left everyone astounded.

Then, he added, "I imagine you must be quite experienced in matters of the heart, am I right? In the past, you also went through a number of relationships before finding Ms. Kang, realizing that you two were well-suited for each other."

Lisa's uncle and Seulgi exchanged uncomfortable glances, their smiles faltering, and their expressions souring.

With a gentle nod, Jungkook pulled Lisa close, his arm around her waist, and gracefully departed from the conversation.

Lisa lifted her gaze to meet Jungkook's with admiration. "You're so hot for saying that," she complimented him, her eyes gleaming. "You managed to get under their skin. I never knew you had such a talent for provoking people."
