Chapter 4

Y/N held onto Joon Min's little hand, her heart brimming with joy. When she was in a good mood, she loved to sing, especially when she was with her son. She smiled at him and asked, "Joonie, would you like Mommy to sing you a song? Don't you love it when Mommy sings?"

However, their car ride was soon interrupted by a groan from the driver's seat. "You're only going to break my ears," Jimin complained.

Y/N fell silent, her mood to sing instantly vanishing. She shot a frustrated look in Jimin's direction. "..."

"You can wear your earplugs or just cover your ears! Plus, I'm not singing for you; I'm going to sing for my son. I also don't want you to hear!"

Determined not to let Jimin's teasing get to her, Y/N turned her attention back to Joon Min and cleared her throat. She felt a bit embarrassed but decided to sing anyway. Her voice might not have been the greatest, but it certainly wasn't as bad as Jimin made it out to be.

As she began to sing, Jimin couldn't resist teasing her further. "Why don't you sing? I already have my earplugs on."

"Park Jimin, you're too mean!"

Jimin laughed, enjoying their playful banter. "You should practice singing, and next time, I'll teach you."

Upon their arrival at the restaurant, Jimin, Y/N, and Joon Min joined their friends who were already gathered there. It was evident that Krystal had taken the opportunity to introduce Lisa to everyone, as they were sitting together, engaged in lively conversation and laughter.

Krystal playfully tugged on Y/N's sleeve when she took her seat. "No wonder you spent such a long time in the restroom and got all emotional when you came out. You didn't even answer my questions. It turns out you rushed to tell Jimin. You're not a loyal friend."

In the past, Y/N might have blushed and remained silent, but now she smiled confidently and replied, "Of course, I should tell my husband first."

Jimin couldn't help but beam at Y/N, his eye-smile reflecting his satisfaction with her response. However, Jin couldn't hold back any longer and chimed in, unable to contain his amusement. "Y/N, Jimin is your ex-husband. You two are divorced. How can you call him your husband?"

Y/N's smile didn't waver. "We're boyfriend and girlfriend now, but is it weird to have a pet name?"

Jimin chimed in enthusiastically, adding, "What my girlfriend said is right!"

The response left everyone at the table in an awkward silence, finding the exchange a bit too cringe-worthy for their taste.

Jin, not one to mince words, pointed at Y/N and Jimin, his tone clearly exasperated. "Enough, you guys! My wife and I are an old couple. We're not used to having a public display of affection like you two. Do you know how cringe-worthy you both are?"

Jimin, never one to back down, retorted, "If you can't stand it, then you guys should make one!"

Jin, sensing an opportunity to tease his wife, put his arm around her shoulders. "Wifey, should we..."

However, Jin and his wife had been in a bit of a spat earlier due to some jealousy when she learned that Y/N was pregnant again. She had been married to Jin for a while and had repeatedly asked him about having a baby, only to receive evasive answers. Jin had insisted they should enjoy their time without children for now, and that had left her furious, resulting in a silent treatment on the way to the dinner.

Still nursing her grudge, she pushed Jin's arm away and glared at him, saying, "Go away."

Their friends burst into laughter at the amusing turn of events, finding the playful banter and squabbles within the group endearing.

Jin's ears turned a shade of crimson as he tried to salvage his dignity. "Wife, can you at least give me a chance to maintain my image outside..."

"Why should I? You are shameless!" she retorted, not about to let him off the hook.

Their playful argument continued to amuse their friends, who were thoroughly entertained by the couple's dynamic.

Jin eventually put his chopsticks down, his expression softening. "If you want a baby, tonight when we're home, I'll give you one. As many as you want!"

His wife's cheeks flushed at his bold words. "Stop it..."

Jin pulled her closer and spoke earnestly. "Wifey, don't be angry anymore. It's my fault. Let's have a baby tonight." His words were filled with love and sincerity, and the tension from their earlier disagreement seemed to melt away as they shared a tender moment.

"You guys can order whatever you want," Jimin told the table, signaling the waiter to take their orders. The restaurant buzzed with the excitement of their gathering, and the aroma of delicious food wafted through the air, further enhancing the festive atmosphere.

Jimin was in an exceptionally fantastic mood. Surrounded by his loved ones and closest friends, he couldn't help but feel grateful for the blessings in his life. "Our Joonie is already six years old," he began with a warm smile, "and now my wife is pregnant. I couldn't ask for more. Tonight, I am very happy."

Jin, always quick with a playful jab, couldn't resist a teasing comment. "You're not done yet?" he quipped, his tone filled with light-hearted sarcasm. The group erupted in laughter, appreciating Jin's knack for humor.
