The following day after Izuku and Jirou hungout Jirou asked Izuku to train her for the sports festival. Izuku gladly agreed to help her out it was 5:50am and Izuku was wide awake Jirou had sent him a text.

Jirou: Hey Izuku im five minutes away from the meeting spot.

Izuku: Okay I'll be there to meet you.

After Izuku made it to the restaurant like they promised Izuku decided to train her in hand to hand combat. Just as Izuku learned the Gentle fist he decided to teach Jirou the same fighting style.

Jirou: okay Izuku what are we doing first?

Izuku: First we'll do some conditioning help keep our stamina up. Then I'll teach you the basics for the gentle fist.

Jirou: Gentle fist? Is that what you used to beat up that one guy on the first day of school?

Izuku: thats exactly what I'll teach you.

So thus began the training session with Izuku this meant that she'd have to push herself to improve. After the endurance run Izuku showed Jirou the stance for gentle fist this fighting style felt comfortable for Jirou she had fluid motions.

Izuku: Once we get into a tougher training session I'll show you an amazing technique.

4 days have passed since then and Jirou has become stronger than she was before her quirk was earphone jack but she felt that didn't really have a strong capability to help in combat situations but Izuku proved her wrong and helped her increased her quirks power that she didn't expect to have. Izuku felt that Jirou was ready to learn the special technique

Izuku: Okay Jirou I feel that you're ready to learn this special technique I'm about to teach you .

Jirou: okay what's the technique called?

Izuku: it's called 8 trigrams 64 palm protection. Allow me to demonstrate

Izuku began the setup for this technique and as he did this process Jirou slowly began to see a barrier around him she stared in amazement.

Jirou: what kind of technique is this?

Izuku: this is the ultimate defensive technique combine this and the gentle Fist and you'll be able to handle whatever they throw at you.  Now I want you to copy these movements and start it slowly

Jirou did as Izuku instructed she then began to grasp the understanding of the technique. After a few hours of training passed Jirou was comfortable using this style of fighting she then began to wonder how to incorporate it with her quirk.

Izuku: Hey Jirou would you like to stay for dinner?

Jirou was confused but she gladly accepted the invitation after getting cleaned up for dinner both Sayuri and Kagami had smiles on their faces. The reason for that was because Izuku never once invited anyone for dinner especially a girl.

Kagami: how's training going so far you two?

Izuku: It's going extremely well Jirou has quickly learned both gentle fist and 8 trigrams 64 palm protection.

Both Sayuri and Kagami are impressed because they are the last official masters of both these techniques and fighting styles. They were both glad to know that these techniques weren't in danger of being lost after dinner Izuku escorted Jirou home.

Jirou: hey Izuku you didn't have to walk me home I would have been fine on my own.

Izuku: I know but I'd still worry about whether you made it home safe or not.

This made Jirou blush lightly because not many had treated her like Izuku has. Jirou was never treated much like a girl since she had a rough personality but she was glad Izuku treated her like a girl.

Once at Jirou's house Izuku was going to break some news to her and he hoped that she would understand.

Izuku: Hey Jirou

Jirou: yeah what's up?

Izuku: I feel that you're ready to practice on your own now. After seeing how well you learned how to adapt to the fighting style I don't think you need me as much anymore.

Jirou: Wait are you getting rid of me?

Izuku: No I wish we could train together for the two weeks but I feel that you're ready to practice on your own.

Jirou: I understand I feel that I've held you back it's okay I appreciate all the time you've given me.

Izuku: that being said dad said I can hand you these

Izuku handed Jirou some scrolls the contents of which held another technique Gentle step twin lions fist. Jirou accepted the scrolls she didn't know what the scrolls contained once at her door step Izuku was about to leave but Jirou stopped him .

Jirou: Izuku I'd like to give you something

Before Izuku could ask what it was he was caught off guard with what happened next. Jirou quickly kissed his cheek and ran inside her house as she left Izuku looking confused.

When Izuku walked back home he was still in a confused state of mind he was broken out of this as Kagami spoke.

Kagami: Hey Son do you have a second?

Izuku: Yeah dad is something wrong?

Kagami: no but since you've finished training your girlfriend I'd like to teach you a powerful technique it's called the Rasengan.

Izuku: okay thanks Dad for training me… Wait she's not my girlfriend

Kagami had a massive smile knowing that someone has special feelings for his son. For the last remaining week Izuku went through intensive training to master the basic form of Rasengan.

The week flew by quick and it was now time for the sports festival many of the participating students were excited. While everyone was in the waiting room Todoroki approached Izuku

Todoroki: Hagane-kun you are the strongest competitor here but let me ask why you a person with no quirk whishes to be a hero.

Izuku: All my life I was called a Loser, useless and a waste of life so I'm here today to prove to the world that to be a hero one doesn't need a quirk but the resolve to keep pushing forward.

Todoroki: Well I look forward to compete against you.

Izuku: Likewise  if I fight you at full strength I expect you to do the same.

This comment made Todoroki uncomfortable since his childhood was full of nothing but suffering. Todoroki vowed to never use his father's flames and he'd only used his ice side.
