It's been a few days since Izuku and Shinso joined  class 1-A everyone was excited to do hero training when Aizawa walked in class and made his announcement.

Aizawa: Okay class today's hero training is cancelled due to a system error at USJ. So another announcement is that the sports festival is coming up and from here on out you guys have two weeks off to train.

The class was upset that training was cancelled but they were excited because it was Friday and they had two weeks to train for the sports festival. So while everyone was making plans one girl couldn't help but her attention was focused on Izuku.

Mina: jirou..... Jirou.... Jirou!

Jirou:huh? What?

Mina: you okay you've been staring into space for a bit ?

Jirou: not really

Momo: Would you care to talk about it?

Ochako: Yeah we'll help you any way we can.

Jirou: Okay the truth is I knew Hagane-kun back during preschool but the thing was before his last name was Midoriya.

Mina: Okay so what the problem?

Jirou: You see when I transferred into his preschool I saw how bad the quirkless were treated. One day my parents were about to drop me off when we saw the beating he was getting my parents didn't want me to continue preschool there. I was transferred out but I felt bad because I was trying to be kind to him when no one else would and I wish I could do more for him?

This revelation that Jirou dropped had brought tears to her friends they couldn't imagine what he had gone through. So Mina had an idea

Mina: Why don't you ask him to hangout? We got a three day weekend plus we get two weeks to train for the sports festival

Jirou: I don't know it feels like I wouldn't be okay to ask him to hangout we barely know eachother.

Momo: then use this opportunity to get to know him

Jirou: You guys are right I'll ask him out.

Just as she left all the other girls realized what she said and had devious grins on their faces. When Jirou was getting closer to Izuku she realized she said ask him out.

Izuku was ready to leave when he noticed that Jirou was walking towards his direction. As Jirou was in front of Izuku she spoke in a nervous manner.

Jirou: Hey Hagane-kun how are you doing?

Izuku: Hey Jirou I'm doing okay thanks for asking. What's up got anything planned for today?

Jirou: I'm glad to hear you're doing okay. As for plans I don't really have any what about you?

Izuku: My parents gave me the day off work today so I'm free. Listen if you got some time want to grab a bite to eat?

Jirou: Sure I'd like that.

So the two students left the class as they looked for a place to eat after reaching a small shopping district they found a burger joint called burger planet. Izuku ordered a double teriyaki burger with a larger order of fries with a chocolate shake as for Jirou she had a beacon cheese burger medium fries with a cherry coke.

That's when Jirou noticed something sticking out of Izuku's bag. Jirou was curious to know what it was she had began thinking it was a dirty book like the ones perverts always read. So she asked him instead of making assumptions

Jirou: Hey Hagane-kun what's that sticking out of your bag?

Izuku: hmm. Oh I forgot I brought this with me as Izuku pulled the book out

Jirou: The Tale of the Gutsy Ninja?

Izuku: I live by two codes one is in this book and the other is FEAR.

Jirou: Fear?

Izuku: Yeah because fear can mean two different things. Forget Everything And Run or Face Everything And Rise. Dad taught me that

Jirou: wow that's an amazing way to look at things. What page is the other code you live by on?

Izuku: it's near the end.

As Jirou flipped towards the end of the book Izuku stopped her when she had arrived on he page. She began to read it

The two ninja clashed in a fierce battle until the enemy collapsed from exhaustion the enemy

Enemy:Why do you fight the inevitable? can't you see as long as we live in this accursed world of Shinobi, their will be no peace.

Hero: Then I will end this curse. If there is such a thing as peace, Then I shall grasp it! I will never give up!!

As the enemy Shinobi looked at the man before him who had dared to make such a proclamation he asked for his name.

Enemy: You What is your name?

Hero: My name is Naruto

As Jirou finished reading the small portion of the book she knew which part was the code  Izuku followed. She was very interested in reading the beginning of the book but she couldn't ask Izuku to borrow it out of the blue.

Jirou: Hagane-kun when was this book written?

Izuku: Call me Izuku if you'd like. As for the date it was published I can't really say this has been in my father's family for generations. We've had to have the book rewritten before the words fade so that we can preserve the book. I have scanned the entire book on my computer so I can make multiple books.

Jirou was almost tempted to ask for a copy but she thought she'd wait a bit and try to get to know Izuku then becoming friends. Jirou wanted to know why his last name changed

Jirou: Izuku I'd like to ask why your name is Hagane instead of Midoriya? Did your mom remarry?

Izuku: well I'll tell you but you since I feel it's time to talk to someone other than mom and dad.

As Izuku told his story to Jirou she had tears in her eyes not knowing what kind of life he had  lived. When they both noticed how late it had gotten Izuku decided to escort Jirou home before they parted Jirou asked something.

Jirou: Hey Izuku

Izuku:hmm. What's up?

Jirou: I was wondering if you'd help me train for the sports festival.

Izuku: yeah I'll be glad to help meet me at the restaurant at 6:00am and we'll train for the two weeks.

And so a new friendship was formed but will Jirou start having feeling for Izuku.
