Arnav and Aman stood at the entrance of the design studio of ARD watching Khushi walking as if her life depended on it.

Anyone will think she is just working but for the men, they knew it was an escape from what happened five days ago.

A celebratory dinner that turned into a roller coaster of revelations and pain.

"She is going to be okay right? " Aman asked sceptically and Arnav shook his head no because he knew Khushi won't be okay as long as there is anger in her heart and he knew that from experience.

"It will only be okay of she opens up but she doesn't want see Shashi whom I think she is also angry with. " Arnav replied and Aman frown confused and Arnav noticed it. "She is angry at him for concealing the fact that Garima's infidelity and envy was the reason that caused her parent to leave in a middle of the night that lead her to become an orphan and to top it all off Garima use to help buaji taunt Khushi for being an orphan. "

"Those women are really messed up for doing that to her..... It's as if this past week has been hell for all of us because my mother is behaving really strange of late...... I thought she will be good shoulder for Khushi to cry on but she is also absent minded of late and Khushi has also noticed and told me about it. " Aman confessed.

"How strange? " Arnav asked confused.

"She disappeared when we arrived to meet the confrontation between Khushi and Dhami and she texted me saying she was feeling sick and couldn't stay and I believed her but when I arrived home, the househelp told me she left with a man  but the next morning I questioned her but she lie that she was home all day and I didn't expose her lie..... She has been really shady of late. " Aman revealed and Arnav sighed saying a silent prayer for all their problems to go away so that he can live peacefully with Khushi.

Five Days Earlier.

Everyone was shocked hearing Shashi speak especially Shyam and Anjali.

"It's....... Aaaallll her fffffault. " Shashi stuttered glaring at Garima who was sweating profusely.

Flashback.

Garima watched her so called best friend expose her sins to her husband because Garima had insulted her for owning her money.

"She has been cheating on you for years with a rich man in this town and she had exposed her affair to his wife because he wanted to end his relationship with her and she felt jealous..... All the expensive sarees she has been wearing were all from him and she made me lie to you that it was gift from me. "

"Shut up Simar. " Garima yelled at her friend and turned to Shashi. "Shashi don't believe her..... She is doing this because we had a fight..... Please don't believe h..... "

A slap cut Garima off and she held her cheek shocked that a calm Shashi was capable of raising his hand at her and was looking like a demon.

Shashi walked into the house and returned with Garima's clothes and bags and threw them on her asking her to leave.

Simar smirked at Garima and left her to deal with her problem.

"Shashi please forgive...... I was just suffocated living this poor life...... I didn't mean to cheat on you..... Please forgive me. " Garima confessed crying and holding on to Shashi's leg but he shoved her off and entered the house locking every door and window.

Flashback ends.

Everyone was shocked hearing that Garima had cheated on a saint like Shashi.

"A few hours later, I heard a knock on my door and opened it to find Khush and Shriya and I was shocked seeing them in my house at that late hour...... They told me Garima called them to pick her up at the junction of our house and they saw her looking devastated and asked her why she was having her bag with her and crying but she didn't answer...... I sighed and lead them to the compound but saw Khushi in the back seat of their car sleeping, so I took her from the car and to Payal's room to sleep because I knew it was going to be a long night...... I returned and lead them to the gazedo in the middle of the house and told them everything about how she has been cheating on me..... Shriya slapped Garima and cut ties with her and said she will help me raise Payal...... Khush asked Garima to leave and never contact us again but she did something that shocked all of us. "

Flashback.

Garima was fuming in anger hearing her sister and brother in law supporting Shashi over her.

"I always felt sorry for ruining you relationship with your mother in law but seeing you siding with him instead of me made me feel happy I destroyed you relationship with her. " Garima yelled at everyone looked at her confused and she started laughing. "I am the reason Khush's mother hates you." Garima laughed as the trio looked on shocked. "When I found out the man you were dating a rich man, I felt angry because she again had something I always wanted and that's a rich man but papa made me marry this poor good for nothing man so I did a little digging and found out she hates middle class people because his late husband left her for one and I knew how to make your relationship with him get ruined and I did just that when I went to her an asked her for money because we were going to be in laws soon but I didn't think he will leave his family just for you..... I hate you Shriya..... It was always Shriya this Shriya that and never Garima. "

A slap landed on Garima's cheek which was rewarded to her by Khush.

"Khush please take me out of here." Shriya begged with tears cascading down her cheeks uncontrollably.

Flashback ends.

Everyone stood numb by the revelation and Garima wished the earth will just swallow her seeing the humiliation.

"The next day I got the news of Khush and Shriya's death in a head to head collision accident and Khushi who was hospitalized....... I and Garima performed their last rites and waited until Khushi woke up to spread their ashes with her........ I knew Garima will take out her anger on Khushi with time that's why I pretended to forgive her because I knew Khushi's custody will go to her as the closest relative if I don't step up. "

Garima looked at Shashi stunned by his confession.

All these years she thought it was because he loved her but it was to protect Khushi.

"Khushi woke up asking for her parent and I had no other choice than to tell her the truth and she was devastated..... But I did everything I could to make her happy and safe but I felt it wasn't enough because she had two vindictive women who always used her status as an orphan to taunt her when one of them is responsible for her being at orphan. " Shashi yelled hyperventilating and Akash rushed up to him with water but he rejected it.

Dhami's legs went numb hearing the truth of the story.

She looked at Khushi which was crying uncontrollably in Arnav's arms and walled up to her but Khushi glared at her and yelled.

"Don't you dare come anywhere near me because you are also responsible for all of this....... Everyone I love lied to me. "

Shashi shook his head as Khushi looked at him disappointed and she turned back to Arnav.

"Arnav please take me away from here..... Please. " She cried out and Arnav carried her bridal style and he threw an apologetic look at Nani and Mami who nodded and he walked out of the mansion.

He knew it was better for them to be alone so he drove to one of his penthouses and made Khushi lay on the bed.

He layed down with her in silent as Khushi cried her heart out and fell asleep in the process.

The next few days, Khushi drown herself in work and avoided any conversation with what had happened.

She sent an apology text to Nani and Mami and avoided everyone except for Arnav, Aman, Akash and Suhani but their conversations was limited and they didn't push her.

Present day.

Akash's Office.

Akash sat in his chair lost in thought at everything that had happened but he was having a thought he never thought he would have and that was doubting his choice of making Payal his wife.

In the past few weeks he has seen characters in Payal that has disgusted him from her blatant jealousy and envy and totally disregard of Khushi's hardwork and abilities.

Flashback.

Everyone was so shaken up by the revelations that no one bothered to eat.

Shashi had passed out because of how exhausted he was emotionally and physically after Khushi left and Akash had called the family doctor who checked up on Shashi.

He gave him a few injections and said he needed bed rest so Nani suggested Buaji and him stay in RM at the moment and she and Mami kicked out Garima much to the displeasure of Payal who was fuming in anger.

Dhami and Aditya left the mansion to their house leaving the Raizadas behind.

Akash entered the bedroom after making sure Nani had had her medicine and his mother and all the family were settled in for the night.

He saw Payal come out of the walk in closet looking pissed and he ignored her and entered the bathroom and took his shower.

He came out with a towel around his waist and another drying his hair.

"How could you Akash?..... How could you stand there and watch my mother getting humiliated like that. " Payal exclaimed in anger with her hand on her hips and Akash threw the towel away and walked up to her

"I can do nothing for a disgraceful woman like your mother. " Akash replied back and Payal raised her hand to slap him but he stopped it mid air and shoved her hand away and she looked stunned. "Deny all you want but a woman like your mother is not welcome in this house again....... This family once lost a family member because of distasteful women like your mother and bhai's father...... She ruined her sister's life and if she was indeed sorry for being the reason Khushi was an orphan, she wouldn't have verbally and emotionally abused Khushi and don't you dare deny she and your aunt didn't..... She is your mother and I can't prevent you from meeting her but I don't want to see her any where near my family and that includes Khushi and Shashi...... Disobey me and I won't hesitate to divorce you...... Start taking responsibility for your father because Khushi has done enough and don't you dare think I'm bluffing about the divorce"

Payal stumbled backwards and fell on the bed and Akash walked into his closet and closed it behind him.

Flashback ends.

Since then, Payal has apologized but Akash didn't believe her and kept an eye on her.

"Mr Raizada ? "

A voice called out and he jerked out of his chair to find his personal assistant looking at him worried.

"Miss Gupta wants to meet you and the others at the studio...... The designs are done and are being matched to the models. "

Akash nodded and followed behind her as they headed to the studio.

ARD Studio.

Khushi was going through the designs and arranging them accordingly to the size and people.

"Khushi please do not bring you middle class cheap mentality her...... She is too fat to be among them. " Lavanya taunted pointing at the picture of one of the plus size model and the design pinned on it.

"Mrs Kashyap be in your limit. " A voice bellowed and everyone turned to find Dhami Singhania matching up to Lavanya and a slap landed on her cheek.

Lavanya was shocked by this and so was everyone except Khushi who was glaring at Dhami.

"Mrs Singhania...... I will appreciate it if you don't barge in on us like that again and start harassing us. " Khushi commanded and it shocked everyone seeing her talk to one of the major investors like that.

"Shut up Khushi...... Do you have any idea whom you are speaking to. " Lavanya yelled at Khushi and she was awarded with another slap by Dhami again.

"Don't you dare raise your voice at my granddaughter and heiress of the Singhania family like that again or else I will make sure you never work again and leave you begging on the streets. " Dhami warned making everyone flinch in shock and fear.

Lavanya looked at Khushi and back at Dhami and they both had the same Hazel eye color.

Khushi walked up to Dhami and looked straight into her eyes with her arms crossed looking like a boss.

"I Khushi Kumari Gupta reject you and what ever status comes with you...... Now leave before I disrespect you more."

Dhami tried to touch Khushi but she moved backwards and her eyes teared up seeing Khushi reject her physical touch too for a moment Khushi felt sorry for what she did but her anger for what she did to her parent overtook her.

Dhami turned away to find Arnav, Akash and Aman staring at her and she run out of there crying.

Khushi walked back to the display board and continued her work as if nothing happened.
