Khushi knew trouble was brewing and held Arnav's hand and he looked at her as she shook her head.

Arnav let go off Pam's hand and she hid behind a scared Sim.

"You will be dealt with severe and I will personally make sure of it. " Arnav whispered in a calm yet deadly tone and Sim and Pam shuddered as they watched Arnav hold Khushi's hand and walked out of there towards his office.

"No one will employ us again if ASR fires us." Sim cried out and turned to her twin sister Pam looking angrily at her. "This is all your fault...... Papa already hates us for being girls and we are finally getting his love and attention because of the money we give him and if we lose the source, then he will definitely kill us. "

Pam shuddered hearing her twin sister.

"We are lucky Khushi is a forgiving person and from how ASR mellowed because of her touch, I am sure she will convince him to forgive us. "

Pam nodded at her sisters words and they were about to walk away when they saw Lavanya with a smile on her face heading towards Arnav's office.

Pam was about to call her when Sim smacked the back of her head.

"Ouch..... What was that for? " Pam exclaimed as she rubbed the back of her head.

"We are in this trouble because of her and all the fake promises she made to us...... I am staying away from her from now on and you better do so too." Sim warned and walked away to her cabin with Pam following.

Arnav's office.

Arnav entered the office with Khushi and trapped her in between his strong muscular arms.

He smiled seeing the scowl on her face which made her looked more adorable.

"Did you really have to go around threatening everyone just for me? " Khushi scolded and Arnav chuckled.

"I will scolded Bill Gates himself if he dares harass you and I won't listen to any lectures from you about forgiving them..... I will definitely punish them and stop being so selfless..... I wasn't and yet looked at how I was taken advantage of. " Arnav said and Khushi cupped his face, tiptoed and kissed his forehead.

She knew he was still hurting from the discovery and she felt horrible for thinking Arnav was there at the Mathur house to scolded her.

"I stopped being selfless after my own family betrayed me and am so sorry for not telling you about Sh..... "

Arnav placed his hand on her mouth stopping her.

"Yes it did hurt that Aman had to chose that way to reveal Anjali's real face and I have to admit when he confessed to setting everything up to make me find out the truth, I was hurt he didn't trust me enough but I realized I deserved it because for years Aman saw through her facade but I was blind to see it but now it's all over and I have you and Aman to thank for that..... I deserve all the pain and I thank you for being there with me those three days...... I love Khushi. " Arnav said and Khushi smiled.

"I love you too. " Khushi replied and both looked at each other intensely and leaned in as lips met each other for the first time.

It felt so good and they both intensified the kiss.

Both were so lost in the kiss that they were totally oblivious of the pair of eyes shimmering with unshed tears watching them kiss.

It's was none other than Lavanya Kashyap.

She quietly walked away to avoid being seen.

Khushi and Arnav pulled out of the kiss with both their foreheads connected and smiles playing on the lips as they hyperventilated for air.

"Thanks for being first kiss. " Arnav said and Khushi pulled away shocked and Arnav had an adorable and embarrassed look on his face.

"Are you a virgin? " Khushi asked stunned and Arnav nodded stroking the back of his head and her shocked expression turned into a smile after few seconds. "I am happy we are each other's first. "

Arnav pulled her back into his arms and pecked her lips.

"I can't wait to make you mine forever. " Arnav confessed and Khushi blushed knowing what he meant.

Arnav smirked and lead her to his swivel chair and sat down making her sit on his lap.

"I know you are here because of the pictures and videos of me carrying you out of the reception which is circulating all over social media. "

Khushi nodded and Arnav sighed knowing she is worried about being scrutinized by the media.

"I am scared people will think I am indeed a gold digger like the captions of the video that circulated months ago. " Khushi replied nervously knowing she was about to trigger his guilt and from his expression, she knew he was feeling guilty.

"All of that had been handled. " A familiar voice said and they turned to the door and found Aman walking in. "All those videos has been taken down and an apology has been issued to you. " Aman revealed pushing the tablet he was holding to them and both were shocked seeing the date and it was dated four months ago.

"Thank you Aman. " Arnav said and Aman shook his head.

"Don't worry about the media...... The PR team are handling it. " Aman revealed and Arnav and Khushi especially relaxed knowing Aman was a pro at this.

"So have you thought about the proposal of joining us in the office? " Arnav asked and Khushi shook her head and Arnav groan.

"Will you stop letting what people will say about you stop you from doing something big for yourself...... Your designs are perfect for our traditional wedding outfits project coming up and your work will shut all of them up..... If you let everything people say bother you then you better end your relationship with Arnav now. " Aman voiced out shocking both of them.

"What the? " Arnav exclaimed glaring at Aman.

"Don't " what the " me...... You know I am right...... She has to develop an immunity to people's words and ideas about your relationship...... If not then you both better break it off...... You have to always hold you head up high and be ready to retaliate against them something I know you can do...... You are strong than you think. "

Arnav knew Aman was right and Khushi's knew he was right and at the moment decided to take up their offer of being a designer.

"Okay I am ready. " Khushi accepted and Aman and Arnav smiled and Arnav kissed her cheeks making Aman gag in disgust.

"Arnav have some shame...... You are kissing my sister in front of me. " Aman scolded and Arnav smirked and Khushi looked embarrassed.

"You should have come in half an hour ago and you would have seen the real deal. " Arnav said with a smirk on his face and Khushi hit his chest and Aman rolled his eyes and walking away but stopped at the door and turned to them with a serious expression which confused them.

"Lavanya is back and in her office. "

He walked away leaving the couple alone.

"I have to speak to her. " Khushi said getting off Arnav's lap and walking to the door.

"Am coming with you. " Arnav insisted walking behind her but Khushi stopped him.

"Let me do this on my own and don't worry..... I will be okay. "

Arnav sighed and nodded and Khushi kissed him on the cheek and he reciprocated by kissing her forehead.

"Good luck and don't hesitate to call me if you need help. "

Khushi nodded and walked out of the office towards Lavanya's office looking extremely nervous.

Anjali was pacing back and forth in the lounge of the mansion.

She was home alone because Nani has gone for her weekly checkups with Mami accompanying her and the Prakash brothers have gone to the market to buy groceries.

Shyam walked into the lounge holding a brown envelope with a huge smile on his face.

He halted seeing Anjali and smiled at her but she had a scowl on her face making Shyam wonder if he did something wrong.

He walked up to her and extended the envelope to her.

Anjali frown in confusion as she took the envelope and opened it but it turned into a shock when she saw a house in an upscale neighborhood in Shyam's name.

Shyam was proud seeing her shocked expression but it turned to confusion as she dragged him into their room and threw the papers in his face.

"Whom did you blackmail to get this and don't you dare tell me it's from your hard work....... I know you have been suspended from the law board and an investigation is being done about you..... All the money you earn and you steal from me are either going into purchases of luxury items for your numerous mistresses in Delhi and Lucknow or your gambling addiction..... Now spit it out and tell me the truth. " Anjali yelled at a shocked Shyam who flinched at the intensity of her voice and was shocked by her words.

"Rani Saheba I would never cheat on y.... "

"Spare me the lies Shyam...... I have known all about your affairs since we married because I have a private detective follow you. " Shyam gulped seeing the maniacal look in Anjali's eyes. "We are both good for each other and together we can achieve anything....... I will keep your secret and you will keep mine...... We have to make sure that Khushi keeps her mouth shut because she is our biggest threat and remember if I go down, I will drag you to hell. "

Anjali wanted to slap him for threatening her but she knew he was right.

They are better off accomplices than enemies.

"Fortunately Khushi will keep quiet for Payal's sake but not Shashi, he loves Khushi more than Payal which is weird and according to a call I overhead between Payal and Buaji, he is regaining movement in his hands and leg and the doctor Khushi hired is extremely good at healing people like Shashi.... I also heard he will regain his speech in a few weeks if the treatment works and knowing how much he loves Khushi, he won't hesitate to expose you. " Anjali revealed and Shyam was numb with shock.

Anjali slapped him twice and Shyam didn't react because he knew he deserves it.

"I am not getting blood on my hands because of you..... I may be a lot of things but a murderer is not one of them. " Anjali said and Shyam knew she was right. "We have to find another way....... We will use something he cherishes against him and what better something than Khushi. " Anjali smirked sinisterly and so did Shyam.

"I second that partner. " Shyam said and stretched out his hand and Anjali shook it sealing the deal.

Shashi sat in his wheelchair watching the television with a huge smile on his face.

Arnav and Khushi has become the hottest topic of every channel and he was enjoying it especially seeing the scowl on the faces of his wife and sister as the threw down the magazine which had Khushi and Arnav on the front page instead of there beloved Payal.

"Our Payaliya is supposed to be on the front page with Akash but look at that attention seeker...... She has overshadowed her sister with her pretense and here you are smiling. " Buaji scolded his brother who looked nonchalant and it pissed her off.

"We should have never adopted her...... I just agreeed to adopt her because her grandparent's took pity on me and also adopted me when I had no family but look at how she is belittling my daughter...... She is just as jealous as her mother who always bragged about being the real daughter and I the adopted daughter..... Who would have thought my kindness will be paid with my daughter being pushed aside. " Garima cried out and Buaji consoled her.

Shashi looked at her in disgust and felt sick for listening to Khushi's mum not to divorce her even after all the lies she told Khushi's paternal grandmother which lead to the destruction of Khushi's paternal family and the death of her parent.

"You wait and watch how I will expose you after I get well...... The whole world will soon know the kind of evil human you really are. " Shashi thought looking at her.

A majestic mansion with an exterior of Alpine stone smugly surrounded by greenery of gardens, multiple fountains and the maple trees near the entrance brought out the green creating a picture perfect mansion.

A man in his mid fifties sat in the huge study of the mansion on his huge swivel chair looking at a picture of a young man and a woman in her early fifties.

"If only I didn't care about being poor, if only I was as brave as my little brother who left to be with his love, then I won't be so lonely and having to watch you and out son from afar........ I am so proud of him...... Even with such limited resources he grew up to be an honest and hardworking man...... If only I hadn't been such a coward, I would have been with you Suhani and Aman would have had more siblings. " The man said with tears in his eyes as he caressed the picture of Aman and Suhani.

The man was none other than billionaire Aditya Singhania, owner of Singhania group of companies.

A knock on the door broke his reverie and he hid the picture and asked the person to enter and in entered his private investigator and Aditya asked him to sit.

"Dinesh......Have you found Karan and his wife? " Aditya asked anxiously and Dinesh sighed and towarded an envelope to him.

He frown and opened the envelope and he was shocked reading the content of the envelope.

"They left behind a daughter who happens to be living with your wife and son. " Dinesh revealed and Aditya looked up at him shook. "I am still investigating their death because I suspect foul play but I want to make sure so give me a few more days. "

Aditya nodded as if in the trance and Dinesh knew it was his cue to leave the man alone so he walked out leaving Aditya alone.

Aditya's wailing shook the foundation of the house and the door opened and in entered a elderly woman who rushed up to him.

Aditya dear what's wrong?..... Why are you like this? " The woman asked but Aditya was too overwhelmed by the revelation that he didn't answer her but cried in her arms.
