Three Days Later.
Morning in RM.

The entire family sat down to eat their breakfast when Arnav joined them and everyone was curious to know where he had been the past three days.

"Chote..... You finally joined us for breakfast. " Anjali said enthusiastically but was met with only a cold humming from Arnav who took a bite off his sandwich.

This didn't go unnoticed by all of them and Nani cleared her throat to ease the tension.

"Damadji." Nani called out and Shyam stopped eating and looked at her. "I hope you are making additional arrangement to the house to welcome the baby..... It's been four years and by now I am sure the house you have been building is ready since chote has been the one taking care of yours and Anju's expenses since you arrived in this family....... People are talking and calling you names for staying in your in laws house after four years of marriage and I don't want you compromising your reputation and dignity for the sake of Anjali and if she really loves you like she claims she does, she will start getting ready to move out...... Mami and I have discussed it and we will only visit her when needed but I will hire the best nurses and house helps for her when the time comes...... You have three weeks after Payal and Akash's reception to move out with Anjali and don't take this as us kicking Anjali out..... She has enjoyed enough here and she must start taking care of her home where your children will grow up...... You have three weeks to make everything possible and if you need any help, don't hesitate to ask me...... Are my words understood. " Nani said looking at a dumbfounded Shyam and he nodded as if in a trance.

Everyone except Mami was stunned hearing Nani and they all knew there was no room for objection because of the seriousness in her tone.

Arnav smirked looking at his Nani who was eating as if she didn't just drop a bomb on the family.

"Nani, you made my work so easier for me...... Bless you. " Arnav thought taking a sip of his coffee.

"Hello hi bye bye...... My sasuma is an atomic bomb. " Mami thought looking at her.

Akash and Payal were just staring but Payal was rejoicing hearing this.

"Finally this witch will be out and I will not have to take orders from her again..... She has made me regret this past three days by ordering me around as of I was a slave..... Goodbye bitch. " Payal thought and went back to finishing her breakfast.

Anjali had tears streaming down her cheeks and for the first time no one consoled her, not even Mami who was always there at her beck and call.

The words of Nisha kept ringing in her ears.

"Dogs stray and slaves rebel. "

Her heart started beating with every breath she felt the control on her family slip.

Mami wasn't defending her like she always did and Arnav was flipping through his phone looking nonchalantly.

Even Akash wasn't looking at her and her husband was looking gloomy and eating his food totally ignoring her.

"No.... Those can't be happening....... I can't be loosing control like this..... I have to do something....... In have twenty two days to make Nani change her mind....... It better be a good one or else I will lose everything. " Anjali thought as she silently eat her food.

Arnav finished his breakfast and stood up and bid goodbye to everyone and was leaving when he turned and called Shyam.

"I want the details and papers for the house you are building...... Mr Roy will draft an agreement benefitting you, Di and the baby...... I will pay for any renovation that might be needed to make the house comfortable for di and the baby. " Arnav said in a dead serious tone and Shyam gulped and Anjali looked stunned finally hearing the support his brother had for Nani's suggestions.

"Don't bother..... I have all under control..... You are forgetting I am a lawyer. " Shyam said with a smiled and Arnav nodded.

"I will ask Aman to cancel Di's credit cards tonight because as Nani said..... It's about time we let you run your family like you want without interference from us and since I have been providing for you and your wife for the past four years, you will have a lot saved up....... Anyway am getting late...... I will see you all at the reception tonight. "

Arnav walked away leaving no time to retort his words.

Mathur House.

Aman had put his suit on and ready to exit his room when his mother entered with a smile on her face as she sat down on his bed and tapped the space beside her signalling him to sit.

"Don't you think you a being too cold towards Arnav when he sent three days with us. " Aman looked away and Suhani sighed. "I understand you are angry at him for not see through his sister and yelling at each time you point it out but it's normal for him to believe her over everyone. "

Aman turned this face back to his mother looking angry as he stood up.

"It's not normal maa..... It's obsession because everyone sees it except him and his so-called family...... Stop trying to defend and it's better he stays away from Khushi because when she tied rahki on my wrist, she gave me the authority to protect her and Arnav is bad for her. " Aman said in a serious tone and Suhani sighed and stood up and walked towards her son.

"If someone came to you and told you I was a mistress and killed an innocent child......Would you believe that person? " Suhani asked and Aman shook his head. "Same applies to Arnav...... He couldn't save his mother and saw her in Anjali who was splitting image of their mother....... Do you think he will ever believe a gentle woman like Anjali was actually evil...... Even we who knew she was manipulative were still shocked she did the things she did so how do you think Arnav who believes she is a saint believe such crimes can be committed by Anjali...... I understand you are hurt because of how he treated you when you pointed out about his sister but you would have done the second if you had been in his shoes...... Don't let your anger for him ruin your sister's life...... Khushi belongs with Arnav just us she belongs with him....... Be the Cupid in their lives not the deterrent in their lives...... I hope you give Arnav a chance and I believe he will be a spectacular and extraordinary lover and husband to Khushi...... She has suffered enough so please don't prolong it anymore. " Suhani said and walked out but stopped at the door and looked at Aman.

"I have packed food for Khushi to give to Arnav....... Drop her at ARD before you go to the hospital to get my medicines and think about what I just said. "

Suhani closed the door behind leaving Aman behind.

Deep down he knew his mother was right and he decided to help Arnav and Khushi to be together.

That determination doubled when he walked downstairs and saw Khushi in the kitchen happily packing Arnav's food into the basket.

ARD.

Arnav sat in his chair with his eyes closed remembering three days stay with the Mathurs and Khushi.

Suhani as always was so welcoming and warm to him but Khushi was always nervous around him and he understood he was at fault for making her feel this way.

After Aman returned from work to find him in the house, he wasn't pleased especially after confessing to what he found in his office at the dinner table.

Flashback.

"You may be my boss but you have no right to evade on my privacy like that. " Aman yelled taking everyone aback.

"Am sorry for what I did but it opened my eyes to the fake people around me. " Arnav said and Aman let out a sarcastic laugh.

"So the great business man who always pride himself in knowing someone immediately he sets eyes on them couldn't see how much of a fraud his own sister and brother in law is...... You go around judging innocent people and keep defending monsters like you sister....... How many times have you threatened to fire me just for wanting to open you eyes. " Arnav bowed his head ashamed and remorseful. "Would have believed me if I had told you about your sister? " Arnav shook his head no and Aman chuckled. "You deserve everything that is happening to you..... You and your family deserve to be deceived by that demon. "

"Aman enough." Suhani scolded. "He already realized his mistakes and that's the most important thing....... Enough of the criticism ." Suhani then turned Arnav. "You must stay here and clear your mind....... You are very impulsive and it's has destroyed and hurt people especially my daughter. " Arnav lifted his head and looked at Khushi. "I don't want anyone getting hurt in your impulsiveness..... Stay as many days as you want but please for once in your life...... Stop putting that woman first because you don't realize it but it will cost you the people who truly love you because they know they will never be first in your life ." Aman said and Arnav was silent knowing he was right.

"Am happy you did evade Aman's privacy because now you will get your priority straight. ........ Now no more talking....... Let's finish our food because it's getting cold" Suhani said and everyone kept quiet and finished their food

For the next three days, Arnav stayed as a guest in the Mathur house and Aman only spoke to him in regards to business.

He knew friendship with Aman will need major repair after all this and he will have to work a million times harder to make Khushi feel comfortable around him because just like Aman, she had also been avoiding him.

Flashback ends.

"I will win you back my love...... I will show you how much I love you and show you that you are the only woman for me and the only priority in my life...... You will come first before anyone....... I love you Khushi....... I love you so much Khushi. " Arnav said.

He jerked out of his seat hearing a thud and lifted his head and his eyes met a shocked Khushi.

He looked down to find a basket on the floor and he walked over and picked it up.

He then layed the basket on the centre table and looked at Khushi.

"What did you just say? " Khushi asked and Arnav moved closer towards her but this time she didn't move back like she always did.

Looking straight into her eyes Arnav confessed.

"I love you Khushi and I think I always have from the first time you fell into my arms. "

"Do you think am stupid to believe you love me especially after all the pain you put me through. " Khushi accused and Arnav closed his eyes ashamed as all the horrible things he did to Khushi flashed back at him.

"I am so sorry Khushi...... I thought hurting you will am leaving you go away. " Arnav said and sat down on the center table. "You made my heart beat for the first time when you fell in my as that day...... You did something I have courage will never happen...... You made me fall in love. " Arnav looked straight into her eyes as he said it. "I had the perfect family. " Khushi slowly slide down on the couch facing him. "A wonderful father even though he was strict and a loving mother even though she was obsessed with perfection........ Money, wealth and fame was all there and I thought I had it all...... On Anjali's wedding day fifteen years ago, it all came crushing down when it was discovered that my father has been having an affair for the past three years with another woman....... Maa confronted my father and he didn't deny it." Arnav had a flashback of that night

"Maa couldn't take the betrayal and killed herself right in front of me. " Khushi gasped in shock. "I begged her Khushi...... I begged her but she didn't listen and took her own life....... Papa realised his mistakes after she died and he followed in her footsteps a few hours later........ Anjali's wedding was call off, I was forced to perform their last rites at just thirteen as if that wasn't enough, my uncle took this as an opportunity to kick us out that very night and for three days we lived on the streets until Nani and uncle found us and took care of us....... I vowed from that day never to fall in love and it worked until you come along and broke down the wall I have constructed to protect my heart....... I always thought love drove my parent to there end and haved it and everything that had to do with it...... I wanted to make sure I never fall into that trap and hurt you so badly but each time I did hurt you, it haunted me but I trained mind to think I was doing right by hurting you and pushing you away...... I wish I had convinced myself my parent never looked each other but was obsessed...... My mother's obsessed and illusion was broken and that's why she did what she did because if she love in her, she wouldn't have killed herself leave us behind..... She was a selfish woman and so was he..... There all selfish and I ruined you and myself...... I have a choice to believe in love but chose otherwise........ I know I hurt you badly but I will never lie about my love for you...... You don't have to give me an answer no but please allow me prove my love for you. " Arnav begged as he held Khushi's hand.

Khushi looked at her hand and back to his eyes and she knew he was being sincere and she nodded.

Arnav smiled and leaned in and kissed on the cheek.

Khushi smiled and blushed as Arnav pulled away.

Both were lost staring at each other and totally oblivious of the pair of eyes watching them with a smile on his face.

It was none other than Aman who had arrived to give a document to Arnav before he went to purchase his mother's medicine when he saw Khushi enter his office and heard everything they both said because the door was opened.

"I will make you crave for my sister and that's the only way you will value her forever...... Get ready to grovel Arnav Singh Raizada. " Aman thought as he watch Khushi pull out the food his mother has made for Arnav who looked very please seeing the food.

Aman quietly closed the door to give them space.

He was leaving when he bumped into Payal holding a basket and he knew she was here to give Akash his lunch.

Payal smiled at him but he glared at her and walked away leaving Payal behind.

"Why are all these men always coming to Khushi's defence and are obsessed with her........ Now Akash has joined the gang...... I don't know why I tolerated her all these years...... I am happy tomorrow is the last day I see her....... After my reception,I won't see her again. " Payal thought as she walked into Akash's office not knowing Khushi will forever be under her nose and will forever hold the highest position in her in laws house soon and forever.
