So I was searching up the etymologies of the words of my username, and I discovered a few things.

So I've always thought that hir was pronounced like him, but with an h at the end. But apparently it's pronounced like HEAR OR HERE! I just can't.

And according to dictionary.com, a source one should never  trust by the way, hir is the obsolete form of her. Get your facts right, dictionary.com; hir is the obsolete form of their, not her.

And apparently there are multiple definitions of the word caustic. The only reason I know that word is because of the first stave of A Christmas Carol, and I've only ever known the whole sarcastic in a bitter way definition. But apparently caustic also means a substance that is able to destroy organic tissue through chemical action. Like woah!
