Okay I know it had been a very long time since I updated but I really need to share the joy with you all.

My Japanese teacher is nice but very strict. She is very nit picky about translations. The good thing about her though is that test in her class are only 25% of the grade meaning I can still pass the class with B as long as I get good grades on everything else, which I do.

Okay so we had a test for her class and it we were to translate a dialogue. Now you see, when we were practicing the dialogue, I was called up in class to recite it, and I had a near panic attack. I thought for sure I would fail her test as I usually get low c's and high d's on them. 

She likes to show the grades to everyone (Names not on it) to show what our averages were. Only one person got an F and the second lowest was a C. Now most of the class got A's but I was hoping I got a C because that means I can still maintain a B in her class.

She calls my name and I look at my test. 

I GOT AN A-!!!!

That is two letter grades higher than what I thought I was going to get. I was screaming out loud when I got it. My very first A on a test in her class.

Yay for me. We also got out report cards from her. Since she grades by averaging, if I get an A on my next grading period, my semester report card will show me getting an A in her class.

I feel so alive!
