Are school stereotypes real? Are the cheerleaders dumb? Are the nerds the ones with no friends? Are jocks actual bullies?

The highschool I go to, you are automatically defaulted as a smart kid since it is a intense school. Since it is intense, everyone main focus in studying.

We have our cliques. The ones on sports team hang out together. Choir kids in one group. Quiet ones in another. Even though there are cliques, not once have I seen actual stereotypes of them.

Not once have I met a bully in school (Except for elementary school but I didn't know until my bully transferred out) Usually if they don't like someone, they stay clear of them. They don't go out of their way to make their lives a living hell.

Even in middle school it was like that and I hated mine. (Mostly due to teachers) there were kids I didn't like and those who didn't like me. No one went out of their way to make my day to day life bad. 

As far as cliques go, I have no idea where mine falls. My friends and I range from really quiet ones to the loud ones (I fall into that category) We are closed off (or atleast I am) I don't know

The experiences I was expecting from middle school and highschool were nothing from what actually happened. Maybe they are happening but I just don't know about it? I am dense sometimes. 

But can some tell me. I feel like I am missing quite a bit of the school social life, (Probably because I don't have one)
