SCENE I

EXT. COMMERCIAL SET – LATER

Ariella continues stretching.

DIRECTOR

Haven't you stretched long enough? You should be able to tie yourself into a bow by now.

ARIELLA

You can never be too careful. Don't want to get a cramp. (to self) Or break a limb.

Danny takes the director's megaphone.

DANNY

(using megaphone) Ariella, you don't have to do this.

The director takes the megaphone back.

DIRECTOR

(using megaphone) Of course you have to do this. This commercial depends on it.

DANNY

If she jumps, I jump.

The director consults his assistant who warns against it. Defeated, the director hands the megaphone back to Danny.

DIRECTOR

(using megaphone) Let her down.

ARIELLA

No! It's time to face my fears.

She puts Harry's head back on. She walks to the edge of the diving board, takes a breath, and leaps off. The harness stops her just before she hits the milk and she hovers in the air.

DIRECTOR

I may have miscalculated the length of the diving board. Get her down!

He gets up and analyzes the tank. The crew members place Ariella on the ground. Danny takes off Harry's head.

DANNY

Are you okay?

ARIELLA

I think I've got the hang of it. Thanks for standing up for me.

DANNY

I shouldn't have talked you into it. Honestly, I think I was more afraid than you were. Have you felt how heavy this head is?

ARIELLA

It's not my kind of wardrobe, but I've heard Harry gives pretty nice hugs.

She whips out her arms knocking the director into the tank. He sits up and spits out the milk.

DIRECTOR

Good news. Your dairy diving days are over. You're fired. We're going to need new milk. This one's gone sour.
