Ariella and Mae are at their lockers.

ARIELLA

Last night was a nightmare. I will never be able to wear my dress again. All that hard work down the drain.

Mae holds her stomach and makes a face.

MAE

Don't remind me.

ARIELLA

What's worse is that I still didn't get my dance with Ryan.

Ryan enters and walks over to Ariella.

RYAN

I think this belongs to you.

He holds up the pink feather from Ariella's dress.

ARIELLA

How'd you know it was me?

RYAN

I had a hunch. And I may have starred the picture you posted on SayWhat. How about that dance?

ARIELLA

I'd love to.

Mae plays "Toccata Fugue in D minor" on her tablet as Ryan and Ariella dance.
