"In a date I guess...right cabir..." manik was glaring at cabir while cabir rolled his eyes..

"Like finally my son got some brain...Hayee who is the lucky girl..." neonika who noticed manik and cabir spoke to lighten the situation ...

"Maa...Don't start...No one is going to bring that topic again..." manik seemed pissed but she was also his mother

"What ..don't bring the topic again? Here I am so happy that my big daughter in law is coming and you are spoiling it.." neonika spoke being dramatic while manik rolled his eyes and others were controlling their laugh...

"Maa...I think you are forgetting that big bahu of this house won't be my wife...Isn't your ladla beta coming home today? " manik mocked at her ....

"Guys do you think something is burning?" alya said while not even looking at manik...

But before anyone could speak neonika shrieked...

"Shit...I had kept milk for boiling...wo no.." saying so neonika went to kitchen while others were shocked...

"What was that? " cabir spoke in daze...

"Nothing just neonika malhotra used her kitchen to stop manik malhotra from lashing out at you guys.." mukti said while bringing all of them out from their shocked state...

"Manik went to his room.." mukti informed as others looked around for him...

"Not again...now he will be all in monster mode when bhai comes.." alya said while dhruv side hugged her and cabir and mukti left them alone...

After manik dropped her..nandini went inside and read the name plate where it was written JAHAN, her little paradise..

She ranged the bell instead of using her key as she knew jeff will have already come...

"Zubin...what the hell are you doing here?" nandini shouted as soon as zubin opened the door. But instead of replying he pulled her inside and closed the door..

"Hello to you to nandini..." harsad was the one saying so but nandini was shocked would be an understatement...

"Wait you...when did you come back from US?"

"Today ...I think its about 3 hours I got here.." harsad replied while siting in the couch as if not a big deal while nandini's anger was rising...

"And you Mr. Zubin..."

"Me...not more...I think two hours..Jeff picked me up from airport .."

"And may I know where is she?"

"She has gone on a blind date..." harsad replied to this...

"Why did you two come?" without beating around the bush nandini asked directly while the duo knew that today they are gone..

"What do you mean by why we came...Obviously to meet you...Didn't you miss us?" harsad was the one to ask..

"Miss my foot...I want both of you out of this house now...Pack your backs and leave...Wait no need to pack also as I know you two would not have unpacked at all...Take your bags and leave my house right now..." nandini gestured them to move while they were gaping at her...

"Nandini, you know you suck at jokes so let it be..." zubin said but whom was he kidding...

"That's why Mr. Zubin ..that's why I am not joking...get out..." nandini shouted at the top of her voice...

"Nandini just listen to us ..pls once.."

"What is left to listen....God dammit...It's exactly 1 month since you guys are avoiding me...Do hell with your works...I know both were busy but so much that you guys could not take out at least 5 minutes per day to talk to me...And here without any notice you guys are here..."

"But we thought to surprise you..."

"Surprise right...surprise...You both were to come to mangalore that to 1 moth back..but no one came...Then at once I got a letter from space saying about my admission and then my two idiot friends don't even call me but send me messages saying they did all the procedure of transfer without even notifying me..great and now you think of giving thi bloody surprise....Take your surprise and get lost.." they both hung their head down..

"Ramu kaka..." nandini called the servant of the house...

"Nandini beta..kuch chahiye..."

"Just bring their luggage and keep it outside the house.."

"Bitiya..."ramu kaka tried to deny seeing the duo glaring at him but again nandini spoke making him oblige...

"Right now kaka..."

"Nandini sun toh...we did this just for you...Pls na ek baar..."

"No just go..." nandini just pushed both of them as ramu kaka kept their luggages outside..

"Nandini sun..." but before only nandini closed the door in their faces...

"Now what should we do.." zubin said to harsad while harshad shrugged...

"Chal I will take you to my home.."

"But harsad didn't you promise your family that you will come alone and how can I go..I mean I...they ...I have never met them before then.."zubin was not comfortable with the idea and at that time only the door opened...

"I am quiet sure this will have been his plan since he too was their in college...So Mr. Harshad you go to your home and zubin you go to him and tell him...don't even show me his face again...And dare you two again listen to him..."

"But nandini arya didn't do..."

"I know MR. Aryaman Khurana better than you guys do ,so leave..." nandini spoke with a glare and again closed the door...

"Chal lets do what she said..."

"Okay let me call the driver..." harsad said while zubin nodded...

"And I will call that idiot to send someone to pick me up..

Door bell rings...

"Cabir go and open the door..." mukti said while cabir royally ignored her...It rings again...

"Cabir..." mukti again said...

"Kya yaar muku...you too can go and open na..."

"Cabir , can't you see I am writing..Don't disturb go and open ..."

"No I am not going I am also making guitar notes..."

"And from when did you start to play guitar that you are writing guitar notes..."

"Mukti...it was you who told me to write them..."

"So I told you to write them and now I am saying you to open the door..."

"Mukti ...I am not going you go..." And the bell has rang at least 5 times now...

"Cabir ...mukti...go and open the door yaar..." alya shouted from study ....

"Alya you come and open na we are busy.." cabir was the one to say...

"Cabir , go and open..I have to submit these assignments till tomorrow.."

And the door bell rings again...

"What's wrong? Why is not anyone opening the door..." thought the person standing outside the door...And something struck him...

"Not again..." he thought and dialed a number in his phone...

"I am standing in the door and those idiot surely may be fighting for who will open the door...Come and open the door..."

"I am in shower...Will take at least half an hour..." the person over the phone spoke and cut the call...

"Urrggghhh..." the person waiting on the door gave a kick to the door and oops hold his leg...And again rang the bell..

"Who the hell is this person..can't he see we all are busy.." cabir groaned while mukti was too busy writing something...

"Muku go and open the door na..I promise next time I will go.." cabir said helplessly listening to continuous ringing of the bell...

"Last time also you said the same...This time you go next time I will go..pakka..." mukti said still engrossed in writing...

"Kar kya rahi hai.." cabir shouted irritated...

"Writing some songs from her poems ..." mukti said and that means she won't get up till she finishes it so he himself got up to open the door...

Meanwhile outside

"Harsad..." and the person ringing the bell look backwards to see who was calling him...

"Dhruv..thank god you came...they are not opening the door ..." dhruv chuckled at this...

"Let me try my luck..." saying so dhruv came in front....

"Okay you try ..I will just bring the luggage..They are in car itself..." saying so harsad moved out...And as soon as harsad went , dhruv was going to ring the bell but before only it got opened by a irritated cabir...

"Dhruv..you could have wait for some time na..why were you ringing it continuously..." but before dhruv could say anything cabir pulled him and closed the door which was the time harsad came...

Harsad wanted to bang his head somewhere seeing these idiots..He again rang the bell and cabir was frustrated now..

"Who the hell is there now?" cair spoke while dhruv chuckled...

"The same person who was ringing the bell but you guys were fighting for who will open the door.." again before cabir could speak mukti shouted..

"Open the door yaar cabir..." as the continuous ringing was irritating her...

" Cabir , open the door..." someone shouted from outside...

"Yaar..who is this person thoda bhi patience nahi hai..." cabir spoke to dhruv without opening the door ...

"Wahi..mera sala...alya ka bhai...maa ka ladla..muku ka partner...manik ka dushman..and for now yamaraj for you...he has been waiting since so long.." dhruv said and moved inside while cabir wanted to bang his head some where...

"Wo mera harshad aagaya..." cabir was doing a small happy dance when the door bell rang again..

"Opps...sorry " saying so finally cabir opened the door...

"Sale...kar kya raha tha tu.." saying so harsad punched in his stomach lightly..

"Tera intezaaar..." cabir said while taking him in a hug...

"Nautanki..chal ab..." saying so both moved inside while cabir helped him with the luggage...

"Mukti..." harsad shouted after entering but she royally ignored him...He gave a questioning look to cabir ...

"Star ke poems..." and as soon as cabir said that his face fell...but he quickly recovered..

"Baki sab kaha hai..." harshad asked 

"Dhruv abhi abhi aaya dance practice se...fresh hone gaya hoga..aur alya study mein hai..aur wo.."

"I know wo ghadha kidhar hai...I called him as you guys were not opening the door...shower mein hoon kehkar phone rakhdiya.." cabir chuckled at this as they have already started to fight...

"Koi nahi..chal alya se mille..pareshan hai ..." cabir said and both went towards study...

"Cabir ,books apne bhai se jyada important hai meri behen ko..." harsad spoke little loudly for alya to listen who was so much engrossed in her books that didn't notice when the duo entered the study...

"Bhai..." and at once she was in her brothers warm embrace...The one she missed so much..

"It's a year bhai since you came and you say I was the one who forgot you na..." alya had tears in her eyes after seeing him ...obviously he was the only one with whom she has blood relation then how could she not miss him...

She could not stop the tears and they leaked from her eyes...She was crying silently but harsad was aware of every move of his baby sister..He was patting her head lovingly...Cabir could just smile at this...may be he too have tears in his eyes..

"You know...bada bhai hoon tera...ro sakta hai gale lag kar..." harsad said to cabir and that's it..cabir too hugged him tight and tears came out of his eyes too...harsad hugged both the grown up kids tightly who were crying in his shoulder...

"Mere bina ro rahe ho...mujhe bhi rona hai..." mukti said from behind them..

"Aree tu mat rona...agar manik ko pata chala meine tujhe rulaya toh wo mujhe jinda gaad dega.." harsad said while mukti rolled her eyes and other chuckled while breaking the hug...Harsad turned around and mukti ran into his arms..

"You don't love me anymore na..That's why you didn't even come to meet me for once..."

"Aree mutki , meri jaan...Whom would I love if not you..uss monster ko toh nahi kar sakta na..." mukti hit his shoulder lightly but again hugged him and she too cried...

"It's okay mukti...don't cry ..Now I am here na..I promise this time I will stay longer.."

"What do you mean by stay longer? Didn't you come back forever..." dhruv was the one saying so who came to study as he didn't see anyone in the hall..

"No dhruv I just came back for a little longer...I can't leave everything over there and come back..I have to..." harsad stopped in middle and his eyes were fixed on one person behind...

"Jana hi that toh aaya hi kyun.." manik said and moved out without entering...

"Ye nahi sudrega..." harsad muttered to himself...harsad then hugged dhruv...

"Tu toh mat roh...okay.." dhruv chuckled at this...

"Koi toh mature hai iss ghar mein mere alawa..." harsad said while again all were in a group hug...Breaking the hug they too made their way outside but alya stayed as she has to complete her assignment...

"Kya yaar manik..aaj ke din toh gussa thuk de...I have come after one long year..." harsad said while sitting beside manik in the couch..

"Toh aaya hi kyun..." manik mocked...

"Tujse baat karna hi bekar hai..I am going to my room to freshen up..." saying so harsad went...he had reached till stairs when he again turned around and spoke....

"Manik..you are joining office from tomorrow....I don't want to hear any ifs and buts..." manik just looked at him shocked but he didn't speak...harsad went away while manik too without speaking anything went to his room...

"Manik...you are joining office from tomorrow...I don't want to hear any ifs and buts...." manik was pacing to and fro in his room mimicking harsad's  words...he was so nervous...nervous would be an understatement ...

He was literally biting his nails...The Manik Malhotra was doing that so think how much in tension he was...It's different from any other case..He would have been angry if he didn't wanted to do that work while he had to do it being forced then he would be hurting himself...

But here, he wants to join office...Wasn't joining Malhotra Heights his dream..Was not making his dad and his star proud his only motto..That was the reason he was studying business and soon he was going to graduate to then why was he nervous...

Obviously who won't get nervous when at once someone comes and gives you an order to take your first step towards your success while you have nothing prepared...And biting nails is the only option...

If it would have been some other time then FAB4 would have been there with him and making fun of him for getting nervous... 

Flashback 

"Manik Malhotra, why the hell are you getting nervous? Here we should be the one getting nervous and you should be consoling us but no ..." alya spoke irritated and sat in a bean bag placed in the backdrop of the stage....

"What do you mean...Can't I get nervous also now...Yarr this is our first time performing in stage together as a band...And you guys have to play instruments so you know if you are nervous you guys can solely concentrate in your instruments...Mujhe toh gana hai..I have to make eye contact..I am afraid.." manik spoke and again started to move too and fro ...

"Wait wait wait...you are what?" cabir was the one to ask that ...and then all processed his words and FAB3 except for mukti and manik literally shouted..

"Starrrrrrrrrrr..." and there she came running ...

"What happened?" she asked giving a confused look to everyone and finally her curious eyes landed on manik who was now siting in a chair and looking down...

"First we thought he is nervous, but just now we got enlightened by our own manik malhotra that he is not only nervous but afraid too..." dhruv spoke on their behalf...

"Uff...first of all dhruv it's called getting illuminated as one gets enlightened on own.." mukti corrected his grammar...like really ..

After receiving are you serious look from star, mukti shrugged her shoulder and walked towards manik...

"Manik.." she placed a hand in his shoulder and he looked up..

Mukti sat in the floor and kept her head in his lap...He started to stroke her hairs...

"Now tell me why are you AFRAID?" star was the one to ask who has settled beside alya..

"I don't know.." manik whispered but she heard it..

"Okay so tell me why are you guys nervous..." she asked to others too...And got the same reply..

"Uff..what should I do of this idiots? "

"THE FAB5 is nervous and the lead is afraid too.."

"Star yaar..it's not the time to tease.." manik spoke frustrated...

"Manik calm down..." mukti rubbed his hands and got up ..star came beside him ..

"You know I don't know to give srk pose?" she spoke and that was it...he hugged her ...

"Manik, If you didn't win then also your star will be proud of you and others are already proud , you know what I mean right.."  she whispered in his ears during the hug for only him to listen and that was it...He twirled her around...She giggled in his arms..

"Now coming to u guys, I know this idiot will not need anything as impressing someone is not her cup of tea..." niti said while giving a slight slap in mukti's head..

"Badi aayi...behen hoon teri thodi toh respect kar.." mukti said giving back the favor..

"Aur FAB3 not manik is fine so cheer up..I know 95% nervousness is gone as finally manik is fine, and about that 5% then, Alya, harsad will be watching it live, I will call him from front row, then dhruv, do well I will myself talk to dad about the dance classes, and cabir yaar..tu bhi..okay fine I will be coming with you to listen to not so interesting  stand up comedy..Urggh I hate comedy.." niti said and finally all had a never ending smile on their faces while mukti frowned not seeing a smile in her sisters face and she knew what was going to come...

"FAB4 sit down and finger on your lips..." niti spoke each words so strongly that they sat down quietly ...

"Kya ho tum log...bacche ho..Manik you are 12 got dammit..aur baki sab 10 then...kya baccho ke taraha complain kar rahe ho...koi bhi problem ho toh haven't I told you just be there for each other,take each other in a group hug and then close your eyes and say the words I wrote..."

All of them smiled and did that only..FAB5 came in a group hug..Closed their eyes while she spoke from behind..

"What did you see?"

"Darkness.." all said in a tone..

"Now fill colors in that darkness by you music..." niti said and asked them to repeat after her...

"I LOVE U TOO.." she said with tears in her eyes when the next announcement for FAB5 performance was done and they all moved towards stage while star to the front row..

Manik was remembering everything about how she used to understand them without even saying anything..And today , he was all alone .But was it?

"Manik.." there she was standing with the same beautiful smile which he loves so much..He caressed the photo in his hand but came out of the trance when he saw mukti there...

She had the same smile...A smile which makes him remember his star..

"What?" he asked coldly but mukti just gave him a note and went from there...

"These are hers ...just made few change as it's applicable for this situation of your.." that was the only thing mukti spoke and went away...

Don't be afraid of fall ,it's common if wanting to reach the heights.

Just remember the eyes shining with pride, 

seeing you rising in feet after falling again and again in life.

Maybe that was what he needed...An assurance, that his fall does not matters..What matters is him rising in his feet again.

It was his first step towards the dream...HIS DREAM...NOPE...IT"S HER DREAM...He was always into music..he never thought of business but she wanted to make Malhotra Heights reach to the top and he was fulfilling her wish and he knew she will feel so much pride seeing him fulfilling her dream.

Finally I reached here..After picking up one idiot who is unfortunately my brother and meeting next idiot whom unfortunately had already come I just wanted to get out from there and finally I am here in my blind date...

Okay blind date as in I was messaged by an unknown number some days back ..And we were talking..And today finally we decided to meet...And the only thing I know is it's some boy...that's it I don't know anything else..Let's see what happens..

Jeff was thinking all these things sitting in a restaurant waiting for her partner who was no where in site..

"Jeff.." jeff turned around to see a girl who was looking at her with wide eyes but they held so much of excitement...

"Oh my god...i didn't know I will meet you in my date..." the girl squealed and hugged her...

"Did I really come on a date with a girl?" jeff thought unsure when at the same time she was quiet confident that she was messaging a boy..Aree instict naam ke bhi kuch chhez hoti hai na...

But it's message..How will one know if it's a girl or a boy..

"So on a date?" the girl asked while jeff just nodded...

"Oh I never knew he is so romantic...but where is that idiot?" she asked and here jeff bechari...she didn't know anything...she didn't even know how the boy looked and his friends are introducing themselves to her...

"Er...he is not here yet I think..but I..umm...Don't feel offended but may I know who are you?" 

"What ??That idiot didn't tell you about me ...He is so dead..But it's nice as now I can myself introduce myself..So hey jeff it's me Soha...Soha khurana..Friend of you idiot boyfriend harsad ..."

"Soha.." jeff whispered the name as she felt she heard that name somewhere..

"Harsad..who is he?" jeff asked unsure ...soha could not react..she thought jeff was joking so she laughed lightly..

"Nice joke Jeff...but let me tell you Harsad...Harsad Saksena  is your boyfriend whom you are so much possessive that  you don't want any girls near him...That's why I could not join him anywhere nowadays like before..." soha said with a sad pout but jeff was still processing the new found info of she having a boyfriend whom she was herself unaware of...

"You know harsad was not willingly to say me to stay away..He could not hurt me..You know I am his friend from long time..And you were angry ..so nandini and aryaman talked to me when we were in mangalore about how much you guys love each other ..." and that was it...jeff spit the drink she was drinking...

Harsad Saksena..he was non other then the idiot sitting in their house...OMG..She is that girl who used to tag along with harsad everywhere...She is the one nandini and harsad's family cannot bear...So to make her leave nandini and aryaman played this card of her being harsad's possessive girlfriend...

Bhagwanji kaha phasa diya...Mera date kabhi bhi aata hoga...what will I say...Harsad will kill me if I revealed everything and before harsad nandini will kill me as she can't bear her...Urgghh..

"Hey, are you jeff?" asked a boy standing beside my table..He was handsome actually...

"Yes, I am " jeff replied politely though the turmoil inside her was too much..

"Hi I am Ahil..You date I guess.." he replied with a stupid grin while rubbing his nape in nervousness...

"What the hell..Jeff you broke up with harsad?" soha shouted before jeff could say anything...

"Umm...I ..he..No no it's just that I am angry with him so to make him jealous I came in date with this guy.." jeff lied though she was trembling..But she knew soha will believe it as as per NANDINI MURTHY's theory soha's brain works less...

"Oh..but why are you angry?" soha asked curiously...

Wo bhagwanji...didn she not take my lie? No no she took it that;s why she is asking why I am angry...But why that look...okay as per nandini she like to be dramatic may be that's why..but what would I answer...god help..

"Jeff...where are you lost? I asked you something?" soha asked bringing jeff back from her self talk..

"Wo..wo..Yes, harsad has come here and I wanted him to make me meet his family but he denied and went alone..And now he isnot even picking up my calls...And he shouted even without listening to me.." jeff said with fake tears in her eyes but soha took it as she hugged her..

"Wo jeff..don't worry..I know he loves you..It's just that his anger...he just ruins everything..But his family is so accepting..Come I will take you to them...it's long since I too met them..It's will be like get together for me and you can also talk to him as his family is more understanding..." soha said everything after breaking the hug and jeff just wanted to bang her head somewhere..

Harsad will kill her with bare hands if she takes soha to his house..Wait how will she take her? She don't know who they are or where he leaves...

"But soha we can't go..I don't know where is his house?" jeff spoke in a low tone..you know feel aana chahie hurt hone ka..itne serials dekhne ka kya faida..

"No problem, I know and my car is parked outside only let's go..." saying so soha started to drag her..

"Jeff..." the boy who was looking at girls like alien as no one even felt his presence..Once he thought was he invisble but when jeff turned with a apologetic look he was confirmed he was normal..

"Sorry bro but we are in rush..Maybe you will get someone soon.." soha said fastly and took jeff with her though jeff tried to protest nothing worked and now they were in car with jeff in passenger seat and soha was driving...

"Soha... let's do one thing we will go tomorrow..It's late see..It's already half past seven at night..." 

"No worries jeff..they would not even have dinner before eight so chill..and don't disturb now..let me concentrate in driving..."

taking that as an opportunity jeff tried to message harsad but realized she don't have his number..of course how will she..He was not her boyfriend for gods sake..Urgghhh

So she called nandini instead...but nandini didn't even pick up..Obviously she thought..nandini must be angry on her for hiding about them coming home..Wait they are in her house then why to go to his house ...Yeah...And before jeff could say...

The car stopped with a halt and soha spoke..

"Come we reached.." and before jeff could protest she was out already...

Jeff reluctantly hot out of the car...And what she saw made her blank..It was MM( MALHOTRA MANSION)

"Soha, it's malhotra mansion..we were going to harsad's house right"

"Yes, and this is his house...Now come all confusion will be cleared her only..."

Soha dragged her ..they had reached the door when soha's phone rang..

"You ring the bell..I will just attend the call.." saying so soha started to talk in phone little away from jeff...

"Cabir go and open the door.." neonika said who was arranging the table for dinner with help of servants ..

"Muku..you go.." cabir said and again got busy in playing the game..

"Why will I go?" mukti retorted back...

"Mutki you promised that you will go next time when harsad came in afternoon.." cabir said and mukti had no words to say..why did she promised?

"Fine.." grumpily mukti stood and went to open the door..

"Yes..." mukti opened the door and spoke to see jeff standing nervously..

"Jeff...you here at this time..everything's fine.." mukti asked seeing jeff who was quiet nervous...

" Umm..wo.." before jeff could speak a person plopped out from her back and mukti was shoked would be an understatement....

"Surprise...I am back..." soha shouted with all enthusiasm..

"Soha...." mukti whispered while soha took her in a hug..She just stood there like a statue...

"Muti who is it?" neonika shouted from inside..

"Wow..neo maa...she is home..whenever I come she is always out due to some urgent meeting..let me go and meet her.." saying so before mukti could process soha ran inside..

"Neo maa..." and that's it..As soon as neonika saw her she left the plate in her hand and it landed in floor with such a noise that whole mansion shivered...Just kidding but the noise was big as it was silent and also night time..

And what followed was mukti shouting harsad's name that cabir fell off the sofa and looked in front to see SOHA...and he could only say OMG...

Jeff too kept hand in her ears seeing mukti shouting so loudly...

"Mukit why are u..." before alya could say something she saw the person and stumbled back in shock while dhruv who was beside her was quick to hold her...

"Mukti what the..." manik who was at the top of stairs was going to fall due to shock but harsad was quick enough to hold him..

"Manik..dhyan kaha hai.." but not getting any reply from him...he followed manik's gave to see the person ...When he glanced around the whole house...He could only see anger and the smoke coming from them due to anger and a confused soul SOHA...Wait not one but two..

"Jeff..." harsad whispered but it was enough for manik to listen s he was close...

"Jeff, what are you doing here? " manik spoke and now everyone attention was towards jeff as finally they realized her presence...

Jeff shifted uncomfortably in her place sensing so much eyes on her..

"Guys you are scaring her...I brought her as this idiot harsad didn't even see her tears...So let me introduce her to you...She is JEFF...the girl who is reason for harsad's sleepless nights ..Yes, you got it right, wow..that rhymes..I know I am genius..Sorry I got distracted..So presenting to you the girl of harsad's dreams, love of his life, Harsad's girlfriend JEFF..." soha said and only gasps could be heard and jeff wanted to bang her head somewhere and cry..

It was embarrassing...
