"Raju...I am going in my room..If anyone ask about me then tell them I slept and don't disturb me .." saying the worker raju needed info without waiting for any reply mukti straight forward went to her room and closed the room door ...

As soon as the door was closed and bolted..She fell in the floor and tears started flowing through her eyes....The cries just got louder with passing second but there was no one to hold her ..No one to tell her that it was good to break drown..No one to tell that everything will be okay..No one to tell her that Don't worry I am there for you ....

More than that there was no FAB5...her friends were not there..And somewhere deep down she knew she too was responsible for it..But she forgot to ask herself if SHE IS AT ANY FAULT? She kept on blaming herself without even acknowledging if she is to be blamed in real or not?

Each tear drop that slipped off her eyes were made of questions which were unanswered..But when she spoke that one question the reply came..

Don't I deserve love?

"You do deserve it more than you know."

The reply came instant making her to look at the source of sound..There he was standing with his ever so contagious smile that made her smile in between her tears when he winked at her and gave her a SRK pose asking her to hug him...And that was something she needed the most at that time so without thinking anything she just got up and ran towards her ....but but..

Her hands were in air as if hugging someone and there was no one..The realization hit her hard and the smile disappeared at once leaving behind only tears but then she harshly wiped her tears and went near her cupboard..

Throwing the clothes here and there..Messing up the room...kicking the cupboard door frustratingly...she pulled her hair in frustration and she remembered something ..she bent down and pulled out a box from under the side table..

While throwing everything out from the box..finally she found what she wanted and took it..She went to the bed and sat there with a book like thing in her hand..Wait a album..precisely A PHOTO ALBUM it was...

And the first pic that came was star with FAB5 ...her cute little sissy making a cute angry pout and FAB5 standing infront of her while holding their ears..It was a photo when she was 6 or 7..She didn't remember her exact age..The photo was taken by neo as she found the sight too adorable..

But the smile that had adorned her lips slowly disappeared as with passing photo the memories of star going away from them came rushing back..And finally their came FAB5 alone with no star ...But again she realized FAB5 was also over ...And the tears came back at once..

But the next pic that came just made her still...There she was in his arms and his hands securely wrapped in her waist while he had bent a little to kiss her but she had turned her face giggling and his cute pout..That was her favorite click taken by non other than MANIK .

Her tears slowly increased it's pace but no words came..She kept looking at it when his words ring in her mind...

Memory Lane

( P.s. I am not saying Flashback as some happenings are better as memory but if told as past then it might loose it importance in present..So it's memory rather than past)

"Keep these tears in store as they are very valuable to let go..also smile because when you smile my heart just skips a bit.." and there he spoke when she was crying over her situation...

"Leave me alone.." mukti harshly wiped her tears before turning towards him whose was looking at her with the same smile which he carries, a contagious one..

"The more you try to run away from me..the more closer I will come.." he spoke which making mukti sigh in irritation while he was enjoying her state..

"Mr.Whatever..I have been observing u since I came her..It's just a day since I am here and from the time I had entered you keep flirting with me..What is your problem? Why can't u leave me alone? "  mukti shouted at him while glaring at him but he just was standing their looking at her intently with the same smile ...He sighed but that smile was intact and spoke..

"Okay let me start by introducing myself..It's Abhimanyu..But you can call me abhi.." abhi said while forwarding his hand for handshake..

"And I don't care..." saying so mukti started to walk away but how can he let her...He was quick enough to pull her towards himself which mukti was startled due to sudden pull..Her hands went to rest in his shoulders while his hands around her waist...

A short eye look would have been something all are expecting but but...Boom..and he was rewarded with a solid punch in his perfect jaw by non other than....Obviously mukti yaar..

"Mr.Abhimanyu ,I said Leave .Me.Alone..." mukti said stressing all the words while he rubbed his jaw as the punch was really hard..

"It's not fair yaar...Someone said to me if u see a girl crying just try to make her happy as crying over the situation is never an option..and trust me it had worked also but it's first time someone punched me..That also so hard.." abhi spoke with a innocent expression and sat down in the bench where mukti was sitting before..

"That was a very lame excuse but any way I liked that crying over some situation is never an option so I can at least listen to u if only u speak normally without flirting.." mukti said while sitting beside him in the bench...

"I cannot promise about flirting thing as that's my birth right but yeah will try.." he spoke the last part seeing mukti glaring at him...

"I already introduced myself but let me introduce myself again...Hi it's Abhimanyu Murthy but u can call me abhi as all call me that only..." mukti rolled her eyes at the last part but again introduced herself though she was least interested..

"It's mukti..MUKTI MALHOTRA....I I have just one name..All call me mukti only.." mukti said the last part in order to tease him while he chuckled..

"So Mr.Abhimanyu..May I know why are u following me since I came here?" mukti without biting around the bush asked the question that was in her mind since she noticed him..

"Aree..I am not a stalker..I just wanted to talk to u so that I can know u..I am here for the 10 days like u...Just wanted to know your side of story as from all the persons present here I felt that u are the one who can mask all your emotions by showing your anger..." abhi too said straight forward without giving any fake reasons while mukti was slightly taken aback by his answer..

This was not something she expected..She though him to be like others who are just wanting an opportunity to talk and be with her...With some creepy mentality but he spoke so genuinely that a smile crept on her lips..

"I don't have any big problem like these people here have..They are here to overcome their extreme  level of depressions or something but I am here just in search of peace from every day life ...In short if I have to say then I am not any depressed soul but want to smile like never from my heart for myself which rather than me my friends cum family say I should do... So they have sent me here after a lot of persuading session...And here I am without them but I am quite sure in 2 to 3 days they will be here as like I can't stay away from them they too can't as our happiness is we...that's all" mukti said with a lost look but she had a smile on her face remembering FAB5 and abhi was lost in her..

"And why are u here for...Don't tell me u too are depressed as they say na the ones who smile the most are broken the most...." abhi could only smile at the way mukti spoke..He shrugged his shoulders casually and spoke..

"It's not true always..Sometime who smile the most is really a happy soul..And about being depressed then..All are depressed to some or the other extent...It's just the way how u deal with it...As DEPRESSION IS A CHOICE...SO GET OVER IT..Some learn from it and try to move on and who try will surely succeed while some just go deep into it making their life filled with darkness ..They just forget that each coin has two sides likewise each phase has a little light ..We just need to search for it..." abhi said while looking at mukti and mukti too had her eyes fixed on her...Without breaking the eye lock mukti spoke..

"So Are u suffering from depressing?" abhi smiled and instead of replying to it questioned her..

"What do u think?" 

"I think u are not depressed but u are here to overcome others depression..Am I right or am i right?" mukti spoke with so much confidence that he was taken aback...

"How did u know it? " abhi asked unsure...

"That means I am right.." abhi nodded in confirmation while mukti smiled..

"I am in my bachelor's ..Also I am so much inspired by psychology that want to be a psychiatrist so have visited many such programs and whatever u told are the words of psychiatrist only so just guessed it..." mukti stated everything casually...

"Wow...that's interesting..I liked your passion and u are working to make your passion your dream....I highly appreciate that.." abhi said while mukti denied it..

"No no..it's not my passion but my dream...My passion is my music and nothing can replace it not even my dream.." mukti spoke about her music so firmly ...

"Waise ,are u a psychiatrist? But u look too young for it.." mukti asked with a raised eyebrow..

"I am in process of becoming one...I am doing my master's..Since, term break are going on thought to join something related to my subject and here I am to know about people's psychology.." abhi said while mukti gave him a impressed look..

"I hate saying this but I am really impressed.." and that was it...

"Hayeeee..My heart just skipped a bit.." and he was back to his flirting mode.

"Not again..I can't tolerate these things...I am going bye..." saying so mukti got up while abhi spoke..

"At least say a proper bye.." abhi said while mukti rolled her eyes..

"Bye abhimanyu..." mukti said with a smile while he again spoke..

"Why do u call me by my full name? I mean all call me abhi short and sweet then.." abhi asked it finally which he wanted to ask since she had called him by his full name than abhi..

"Because I don't like to do things all do..I am special.." mukti left winking at him while he was rooted there looking at her disappearing figure..

"Why Abhimanyu...why did u left me after promising to be with me forever ..why u gave me beautiful dreams if u had to broke it all just with a letter saying nothing particular..No explanation..nothing just left and never returned Why? " but again she remembered something...

""Keep these tears in store as they are very valuable to let go..also smile because when you smile my heart just skips a bit...these were your first words to me and I followed it after u left also as FAB5 was there but now it's over..I want u pls come back..pls..." mukti said while there he spoke...

"I am always there mukti...Just feel me and remember our moments....It will give u what u need.." there was no one but mukti listened to it in his voice..Maybe he was not there in physical but he was there in her heart and mind and that was something mukti listened from her inner self which came out in form of his voice..

Mukti closed her eyes and remembered their moments...Mukbhi moments ...Mukbhi a couple name given by alya like hers Dhrulya...Only the difference was Dhruyla was intact but of Mukbhi only the moments was there..

And as he said..All her worries were forgotten..Her heart and mind got the required peace...A smile crept on her lips and the tears stopped ....After all sometimes going into the memory lane is the best thing to do..

You betrayed,

Yet I craved.

It's our moments which never fade,

And they give peace when I get played ,

By so called fate.

"Nandini..pls listen to me at least once..." manik said while following nandini in the stairs of the college while nandini kept on climbing the stairs without listening to him..

But taking long steps he held her and stopped her just at the end of stairs..Some students saw them but manik's one glare and the whole area was empty leaving the two souls alone..

"Nandini...I don't know why are you crying but pls stop crying if its because of me.." manik said in not so soft tone while nandini looked in his eyes which were reflecting something else then his voice...

"It's nothing manik...Just like that...u told about arya..I mean aryaman and I remembered something and could not stop myself..." nandini said while rubbing her eyes to stop the tears which was quiet impossible it seems...

"Okay..But wait you just met him once and u remembered something..do u know him from before that.." nandini was shocked by his question...The change in her facial expression was observed keenly by manik but she hid it and looked down while speaking..

"No I don't know him..It's just that I have never raised my hand on anyone and I just punched him for the very first time..I mean in first meet only.. I felt bad so tears just came without my control..." nandini spoke while nervously fidgeting with her fingers while manik was observing her keenly..,

He could not understand some hidden meanings of her talks but thought to let it go...He decided to talk to aryaman regarding this..But now he have to change her mood so he decide to initiate the conversation again so that it won't look awkward..

"Err...Coffee??" manik asked it to her like he was unsure himself...Nandini smile at his attempts to make themselves feel comfortable so she spoke with her ever so chirpy nature..

"Manik...It may be personal but can I ask something from u?" nandini asked with a hope shining in her eyes while he could not deny for those eyes reminded him of something or rather say someone...He nodded his head and she continued,.

"Err..Can u take me out somewhere..like some peaceful place where one can or let's say you go to spend some lone time,..." nandini spoke hesitantly while manik was controlling his laughter seeing all time confident nandini nervous...He had kept a serious face so feeling nervous nandini started to justify herself...

"Don't take me wrong but I am new here so I have not been able to visit around..back in Mangalore I had many such places..whenever I used to feel low I used to go there but since I am new here ..so if u don't mind.." nandini said the last part without meeting his eyes...

A smile broke in his face while he spoke...

"Err...Actually I don't have any such places as whenever I feel low I just remember someone special to me and write few words regarding my feelings as music is my solace...But since you are new here I can show you around but don't you have lectures as I have listened Nandini Murthy does not compromise with her study..." manik was serious at first but he is Manik Malhotra or say Monster Manik so he had to tease her....

"Yes, but when a handsome boy as everyone say on whom whole college drools over asks u out you can't deny na..And also Nandini Murthy never breaks anyone's heart so..I am just doing a favor on u so that your image is maintained..If I say no then...What will they say that See that''s MANIK MALHOTRA whose offer was rejected by THE GREAT NANDINI MURTHY..." nandini smriked while manik rolled his eyes..

"And I though Navya was a real drama queen.." nandini laughed at that..

"So will u do this favor as u call it..."  manik mocked her while she questioned him back..

"What would u call it if not a favor ..."

"Er..errr..something like..." manik was unable to say exact word..

"Something like.." nandini asked him to continue..

"Maybe a friendly date..."

"Really..So can u tell me when did we become friends as I don't remember u talking to me nicely since the time I have entered in this college..." she was right actually..Her first day in college and he became a monster..She was friendly and talked with FAB4 but he was an exception for he was never interested and also their were poles apart when come to discuss on any topic 

But this was their first talk together with more talks in right sense and less arguments..

"Err..I know I behaved liked a monster but that's me..So I won't change it for anyone..So if u want then u can befriend me as I am or else let it be...I will accept the favor thing.." manik spoke while it was a perfect opportunity for nandini ..How can she miss it..

"That means Manik Malhotra As in The MANIK MALHOTRA wants to go out with me so much that he is accepting my saying....Not bad Nandini Murthy..I never knew I was so much in demand.."  nandini was enjoying the irritated manik..

"Nandini yaar..here I am trying to be nice and you are trying to awake the monster in me.."

"Aree..What did I do? I was just utilizing the opportunity of irritating THE MANIK MALHOTRA...It's a rare situation afterall....I know u agree to it..." nandini asked him with a raised eyebrow while manik nodded...

There was a victory smile in her face and she was going to continue when finally manik placed his hand on her mouth and spoke...

"Not a word THE GREAT NANDINI MURTHY...Since u like the monster manik so I am taking u with me to one place which I think u will like to visit as a first visit around mumbai...It's for u to decide but I think u will thank me for taking u there..." manik said with so much confidence that nandini could just smile warmly at that...

Taking that smile as a clue manik asked her to move and finally both went out of the college in manik's car ...The ride was silent ..not a awkward but a comfortable silence..With some romantic melodies being played manik was lost in driving with the unknown peace which was different then the one music gave him..And nandini was enjoying the day which was not so sunny but little cloudy ..Like just a perfect weather to go out for a visit round the city..She was just enjoying the view be it crowd, or greenery as she was someone who will see something beautiful in the worst of someone or something.

Finally, Manik stopped his car indicating their arrival...Getting down the car she was welcomed by a cool breeze hitting her...And looking at the surrounding there  were in a cliff giving a beautiful view of the surrounding...

Moving at the edge of the cliff Nandini was busy admiring the place and the view it gave..Manik for sometime observed her and then he too started to soak into such a beautiful atmosphere..

Maybe the cliff was just a random thing but they could relate to it like no other...Today's day was not so beautiful like some other happy day...And here the surrounding depicted the same..The day which should have been sunny was slightly cloudy and the sky had turned dark blue in some places while somewhere it was clear with no clouds...It looked as if the clouds were moving with them to protect them from extreme sunlight..

While looking down there was a sea...It gave the perfect reflection of the surrounding hills and the sky...It looked still in spite of holding so much in it..It was something both nandini and manik were facing...Deep inside they were holding the pain so  unbearable..Yet both were smiling like nothing had happened ever..Both wanted to cry there heart out..

As if the nature was also feeling their pain that it started to rain without any warning...It just increased but both of them remained still ..None of them tried to move..

The water droplets falling from the sky when touched the water in sea ...it became blurry and the images formed before were shaking...It was as if the sea was eyes ..With the formation of tears everything becomes blur..and when the tear fall down the sight is a little clear ....

For manik and nandini, the rain was something most needed at the moment as it was their way to hide the tears..As the rain increased , the tears started to increase it's pace as well...

When everything was going fine , FAB5 was together ..Everything was falling in its place..They were happy together ...The pain came running back without any warning ..Everything that was coming in its place just broke again mercilessly...FAB5 was over...That was reminded to them..

On the other hand, Moving on was something nandini always did and learnt from life...But today she just could not carry on her philosophy..She just wanted to cry ,cry and cry till her tears give up and are dried..Rain was giving her the perfect situation but the pain was still not going..

Finally having enough manik decided to go from their..He turned around to go to car..He wanted to ask nandini too but could not as his voice ditched him...

He thought she will follow him so he moved but she stopped him by holding his hand...

" Dance.??.." nandini asked in a very low whisper such that only manik could hear as he was close to her...Manik turned around without giving the answer..

Taking it as a no nandini slowly left his hand but before it could slip away he pulled her towards him with a jerk and her hands rested on his shoulders for support...

He slid his hands in her waist and started to move ...She got to know that he agreed to dance so both started to move in flow....Here the falling rain drops when touched the ground or leaves of trees around produced a sound..The continuous sound was their music..The singing of birds was the lyrics..The tears were flowing from their eyes but they got some sort of peace by holding each other..

An unknown peace...Their bodies moved with the flow ...Slowly and gradually their tears subsided along with the rain.....They were somewhat relieved by the pain as the tears took it with them ...Like their pain the rain also went away while the sun was shining above them with  all it's glory..But they were just lost in each other..

Finally..Nandini turned around but manik pulled her again like a dance step but unfortunately, due to slippery mud, nandini lost her balance along with manik and both fell in the ground..

Both were covered by muddy water...They looked at each other and burst out laughing..This was the first laughter that reached their eyes from the morning..With the rain their tears got a way to release their pain..And now sun had rise again with a new beginning for some new relations.. 

He initiated the talk,

She continued it for him.

He was there for her,

While she let him be .

He didn't stop his tears,

While she let it flow without fear.

Though it was their first talk together,

This moment will be memorable forever.

They took first step of friendship,

Which will pave a path of a HUMESHA indeed.

"Jeff, don't tell her about this..We will give surprise to her.." someone said over phone while jeff rolled her eyes...

"See you are my brother so I am giving u  this advice..Don't you carry such stunt and tell her that you are coming..She don't like this sort of surprises..And if u want to die from her hands then do whatever u want.." jeff scolded her idiot brother but the person cared less...

"Jeff...meri not so innocent sister...Don't worry about me..I know she will love this surprise..Just do one favor for me..Pls don't tell her that I am coming..Just make any excuse if she asks u why I am not picking up her calls..And dare u use your pea-sized mind..Just do what I have told.." the person spoke while jeff spoke..

"Zubin ke bacche...Here I am talking in your favor and u are mocking me only...Now I will definitely make your not so wonderful plan flop..Wait and Watch.." saying so jeff cut the call before zubin could say anything..

While zubin could only smile looking at his phone..

Fighting with each other ..and bringing other one in some or the other problem are the definitions of bro-sis after all..These little moments of bickering are so special..
