"Oh my god no freaking way!" You all laughed as your friend George just admitted to a very embarrassing secret.

You were all hanging out at your apartment after having a great day out at the beach. It was finally summer vacation and you were so happy to actually be able to relax for once.

"Yes freaking way." George cringed in embarrassment.

You were practically crying from laughter. "I can't believe you walked around a waterpark for 2 straight hours with a huge rip in your swimming trunks!"

"What's worse is the fact that I had a massive tan line."

You and Lando were now wheezing uncontrollably as Daniel's laughter reached a new level of volume.

"Alright I think that's enough for me. Your turn now Y/n." George turned to you with a forced smile.

"Hey, why me?"

"Well it really should be ladies first."

"You mean after you?"

George gave you a look of annoyance at your comment.

"Okay, okay sorry. " You were still laughing slightly. "Ask away."

"Truth or dare?"

"Dare." You smirked.

George sat back to think for a second... And then grinned.

"I dare you to kiss the person you find most attractive in this room."

The others wolf whistled next to you and they nudged each other, laughing like a bunch of teenage boys.

Your smile almost immediately faded and you gave him a look that said "I'm gonna kill you"

George had recently found out that you had a crush on the one and only Daniel Ricciardo. You accidentally let it slip during a night out at the club together and he wouldn't let it go all evening, clearly wasn't going to now either.

Obviously the person you were most attracted to in that room was indeed Daniel, but you couldn't just go up and kiss him... Could you?

No that's ridiculous. You had already thought about this so many times before and you decided that it would just be too weird. You guys have been friends for so long and you couldn't risk losing that by admitting that you have a stupid crush on him.

"So y/n, who are you gonna kiss then?" Lando poked you teasingly, snapping you out of your thoughts.

"Um..." You glanced at each of them. Lando, George, Pierre, Charles, and then your eyes met Daniel's deep brown ones.

You blushed slightly as he smiled at you.

That damn smile.

You looked down at your feet even though you could practically feel everyone staring at you, probably waiting for you to actually make a decision.

As George sidled up next to you, you expected him to say something stupid or teasing, but instead he gave you an encouraging nudge and gestured over to Daniel.

You sighed and then took in a deep breath.

You only live once right?

"Pierre..." You started and he looked up in surprise. "Could you move over a little, I need to get to Daniel." Daniel's eyes lit up at the mention of his name which made your heart skip a beat.

"Oh with pleasure." Pierre said smirking.

You walked over to where Daniel was sitting, a blush immediately rising to you cheeks.

Somehow his smile managed to get even wider as you approached.

Yeah, you're just friends right now and you always have been. But now maybe this is your chance to finally turn it into something more.

"So you find me the most attractive huh?" He gave you his signature goofy smile.

"Well duh." Before either of you could say anything else, you pressed your lips firmly to his while holding the sides of his face with your hands.

Daniel met you halfway and immediately threaded his fingers through your hair.

The others whistled and cheered as if they'd been rooting for you guys this entire time. Maybe they actually had been.

The kiss deepened and you sighed contently against his lips.
"Daniel..."

He grabbed onto your waist and you let him pull you against his chest as you wrapped your arms around his neck.
"Y/n..."

Your lips moved together perfectly in sync as if they were made for each other.

"Um... You guys know we're still here right?" Charles awkwardly cleared his throat.

You and Daniel pulled away from the kiss sheepishly, still half on top of each other.

"Sorry." You said as your cheeks flushed even more.

"I'm not." Daniel smirked and then looked deep into your eyes.

"Alright damn get a room you two." George grimaced and you couldn't blame him. He just watched two of his closest friends make-out 3 feet away from him. How fun.

"Maybe later." You mumbled and everyone turned to stare at you.
"... Oh did I say that out loud?"

Daniel laughed next to you and then leaned over so that his face was just centimeters away from yours. You could feel his lips brush teasingly against your ear as he whispered, "You'd better believe we're carrying that on later..."
