Chapter Twenty - Three

Natsu was resting his head on the desk, he had tuned out all his classmates. Gray was behind him playing on his phone while talking to Gajeel. When all of a sudden he felt someone tap his shoulder, he looked up to see Lucy. A slight blush flowing to her cheeks as she handed his sweater back to him, it was neatly folded with a bag of Flame-e-o's on top of it.

"Thank you, Natsu." She smiled softly at him, Natsu grinned back at her and nodded. HIs throat drying up and he watched as she went to sit beside Lisanna. Gray slapped Natsu's back as Lucy started to talk to Lisanna.

"You sly salamander, your crush isn't one-sided this time!" He announced causing the class to quiet down, Lucy blushed even more at this comment as Lisanna whispered in her ear.

"Shut up Ice Princess! Before I tell the class what happened two days ago when I walked in your room-" At this Gray covered Natsu's mouth.

"So Lucy how come you looked red this morning when you gave Natsu his sweater back?" Levy asked Lucy, as she grabbed her math book from her locker. Lucy merely smiled shyly and shrugged, Levy winked at Lisanna as she patted Lucy's shoulder.

"I'm guessing you're a huge fan of the bubblegum flavor". Lisanna commented winking back at Levy. Lucy was about to say something when someone tapped her shoulder. Natsu stood in front of her, an English book in his hand.

"Lucy, can I walk you to class?" He asked with a grin. LIsanna smirked at this and dragged Levy away from the two waving goodbye.

"Sure." Lucy smiled at him. The two walked through the halls of the school together, in their own world.

This was way too short but I wanted to upload the chapter because you all have been waiting for so long.

The next one will have a lot more fluff and stuff *heh*
