School Update :

 I'm going to be attending community college, but hey at least I'm still going to be getting my education. One of the smartest teachers I know attended community college and transferred. So sorry for the lack of updates, some adults are a bit upset that I'm attending community and not a university, so they've been on my back.

Chapter Twenty - One 

Lucy heard someone laughing loudly causing Natsu to turn around, Lucy followed his gaze. Her eyes landed on three girls, one of them flipped her hair and sat at a desk in the front. Her pink coated lips pulled into a smile, her blue eyes boring into Lucy's. The other two girls sat near her desk and followed their ringleader's gaze, Natsu waved over at the blonde-haired girl - the stupid oblivious fool. 

"Getting friend zoned so soon?" The girl cooed softly, Lucy hated to admit it, but she was beautiful. "Natsu, wasn't that a bit too harsh?" She asked the pink-haired boy. Lisanna was about to walk up to her, but Levy grabbed her arm shaking her head. The room grew quiet and Natsu simply rubbed his head.

"DId I do it right? I wasn't sure if those were the words to use." Natsu answered nervously, his cheeks turning a light shade of red. Lucy dealt with mean girls, but she wasn't too sure about speaking up. That's what got her into trouble at her old school. 

"I see your back from America Estella, even your robots came back." Lisanna spoke up coldly, her blue eyes gleaming with an unfamiliar spark. Estella simply smiled at the pale girl and shrugged looking at her two friends with a bored look. 

"Seems they followed me back, I see you cut your hair shorter. Did you get lice Liceanna?" She answered back with a false sympathetic look. "Levy - still as short as ever and Gray! Did you ever get the guts to ask out that girl? Or are you stringing her along?" Gray looked away and sat at his desk not saying a word, while Levy pulled Lisanna down at the desk. 

Natsu looked at the scene in front of him and simply gestured at Estella.

"Luce this is Estella, Stella this is Luce." Lucy simple nodded, while Estella looked at her and waved her manicured red nails. She crossed her legs, black heels shining brightly in the classroom's lighting. The teacher finally burst in, sweating and messy. 

"Let's not tell anyone about me being late." The teacher spoke up.

After School

Erza walked beside Lucy and Juvia, a curious look on her face. Lucy had not seemed all excited about going to the party with Natsu, even Lisanna looked pissed off. She knew Estella and her trolls were back, but she didn't know it would be that big of a deal. Juvia was chatting about Gray and how she can't wait for them to go to the part with matching outfits. She was head over heels for Gray, honestly, it was the cutest thing ever.

"Bye Lucy!" Juvia pulled Erza out of her thoughts and Erza saw Lucy getting into the back of a limo waving a small goodbye. Frowning, the scarlet-haired girl pulled out her phone. She grinned slyly seeing Mira's number. She would know what to do in a situation like this, she was the master of getting people together.

Lucy landed on her bed softly, not caring that Lady Pearl was calling her. She shut her eyes not wanting to hear anything anymore, she heard Marissa talking to her friend about which outfit she should wear, though something her friend said caught her eye. Lucy sat up, her eyes focused on the door, her ears straining to hear the conversation. 

"-Sting is coming to the party!" Her friend gushed, Lucy felt sick to her stomach and stood up immediately. Everything coming back to her, she couldn't face him. The thought of him bringing up anything to her new friends made her sick. His smirk, the way he always got what he wanted.

"I can't go." She whispered to herself, she slowly crumbled to the floor bringing her knees to her face. Her phone rang and Lucy looked at it, the light shining on her bed. The soft tune playing throughout the room, she looked away. Natsu's name slowly faded away along with any other feelings she had. 

The door burst open and a white-haired girl followed by three other girls walked in. Mira frowned seeing Lucy on the floor, she knelt down and smiled softly. 

"Now why are you on the floor?" She asked gently as Levy closed the door and Lisanna turned on the light. Juvia sat on the bed and pulled out chips chewing them as she watched the scene. 

"I can't go to the party Mira, my old school will be there and I-"

"Who cares what they think Lucy, you have us and I'm sure Natsu will protect you." Lisanna chimed in putting her hands on Lucy's shoulder reassuringly. Juvia agreed happily stuffing another chip in her mouth as Levy looked at Lucy's bookshelf curiously. 

"Wait how did you guys get in here?" Lucy asked as Mira helped her up. 

"We knocked like normal human beings and a short pink haired maid let us in." Lisanna shrugged. "We're not going to break in, Mira already had to do community service." Lucy glanced over and Mira simply smiled. 

"I just hit a guy with a car. He lived." She responded, her eyes twinkling.

"Now let's get you ready."

Lisanna insisted that Lucy go with them, that the girls will meet the boys at the party. Yet now that they were in front of a crowded house at 9:00 pm, she had second doubts. Her light blue dress met her mid-thigh, her hair curled - courtesy of Levy. Mira wore a black mini skirt and a plain red shirt, Lisanna wore jeans and a nice bouse, Juvia wore jeans and a blue shirt. Immediately Mira parted way because she needed a drink. Juvia said she was going to the bathroom to fix her lipstick - she was drinking water and it smeared and Lisanna followed Mira. 

The music was loud and crappy, people were sticking to each other and the house was trashed. She was surprised cops hadn't shown up. She recognized several faces from her old school yet she avoided eye contact. A small girl walked up to Levy, she introduced herself as Mack - a girl from another school that Levy had gone to before transferring. The two were so deep in a conversation that Lucy felt awkward standing there. So she decided to head to the bathroom to find Juvia, she asked a random girl where it was and she simply pointed to a crowded hallway.

"To your left and 2nd door." She slurred clinging to a boy's shoulder. "Baby let's go get a room." Lucy immediately left to give them privacy, she followed the instructions and then heard someone clear their throat behind her. She turned to see Sting, his white shirt was sticking to his wet body, his hair dripping with water. A familiar dark-haired girl clung to his torso, her mascara smeared. 

"Look who it is Sting-kun." Her nasal voice filled Lucy's ears and Lucy backed up gently, yet met with someone else who shoved her away rudely. "What the hell are you doing here bi-"

"Kelsie nice words remember babe? What are you doing here Heartflillia?" Sting asked shrugging off the girl's arms to walk towards Lucy. He grabbed her arm roughly. "Didn't I tell you not to come around here again, you got me in trouble already isn't that enough?" He demanded. 

"Let go of me, Sting." Lucy demanded back, her eyes boring into his. Kelsie simply laughed and shook her head walking near Lucy.

"If I were you, Kelsie, I would get your ugly looking face out of my house and take your weave while you're at it." Lucy and Sting turned to see Estella. Her blonde hair pulled into a high ponytail and her lips pulled into a fake smile once more. Arms crossed and eyebrows lifted, she tossed a bag in Kelsie's arms. "Sting get your hands off of her before I tell your dad that you did the f*cked my maid, wouldn't that damage what little trust he had in you?" She spoke up cooly. He let go, glared at her and walked away with Kelsie. 

Lucy looked up at Estella and noticed that the girl was walking towards her. She was wearing a checkered red skirt and a red vest. 

"I'll le-"

"I know what happened, my sister goes to Sabertooth. I won't tell anyone if you don't tell anyone what I did right now." She grabbed her hand and pulled her through the crowd of teenagers, she led her out in the backyard and Lucy saw Natsu talking with another boy. 

"Luce! There you are, Levy said you went off on your own earlier. She said you went to the bathroom." He spoke up smiling brightly pulling her into a light hug. 

"She could get lost Natsu, you know there are very rowdy guys here right? Keep her close." With that Estella went her own way leaving Lucy bewildered.
