Chapter Nineteen

Lucy woke up feeling tired, but then again she always felt tired.  After all, it was a school morning and school was always so tiring. The game was cancelled, but everyone invited her to go to the pizza place. They stood up until 12 and it was Natsu's dad who called him to come home.

One thing for sure. She's sick of pizza.

Her phone made a small chirping noise and she looked down to see a new name.

Natsu

Hey Luce you're running late

Lucy looked at the time and let out a small scream. She jumped out of her bed and rushed into the bathroom.

"Natsu!" She screamed angrily.

The pink haired boy chuckled and put his phone down. This only gained the attention of Gray and Gajeel, who were seating beside him.

"I bet you Luce is cursing my name is several languages." The two boys gave each other knowing smirks.

Lucy rushed inside the school to be greeted by Erza, the Scarlett haired girl noticed Lucy and turned away. She used her hand to gesture towards the door. Lucy understood and quickly ran past the girl.

"Thanks Erza."

"What is that I must see if students are sneaking through the back door instead." Erza spoke up. "Will do."

Though Lucy saw the small smile on the girl's lips.

Lucy walked inside the class and saw Natsu's grin. Lucy glared at him and walked to her seat, luckily the teacher has not walked in yet.

"Hey lu-chan want to go to a party?" Levy asked. "Gajeel invited me, but I don't want to go alone with him."

"Isn't he your boyfriend?" Levy blushed and shook her head.

"What?! No- or at least I don't think so." She stuttered looking around nervously. "Did he say anything?"

Lucy simply chuckled and shook her head.

"I'll ask if i can." Lucy answered, she then felt someone's stare and turned to see onyx eyes staring at her intently.

"Hey Luce is that drool on your face?"

The poor boy wasn't able to dodge the book that was thrown at him.

"What was that for?" Natsu asked rubbing his head with a pout. The blonde haired girl concealed her rage.

"Lu-chan why'd you hurt the book." Levy ran over and grabbed the book caressing it like a child. "Thank gosh the spine is not damaged."

"My head is damaged." Levy looked at the pink haired boy.

"Tragic." With that she went back to her seat and set the book down gently. Gajeel cracked up and slapped the pink haired boy on the head.

"Ha she got you there!" He laughed. The bell rang and a women walked in. Her white hair pulled up and her striking blue eyes scanning the room.

"Alright class we will be reacting Romeo & Juliet! Lucy dear, since you're new-"

"She goes first!" Natsu interrupted. The teacher gave him a look.

"You're excused." Natsu complained and the teacher sighed. "Natsu since you're so eager why don't you go up?"

"Sure." Natsu smirked at Lucy and grabbed gray's arm dragging the uninterested boy to the front.

"O Romeo, Romeo! wherefore art thou Romeo?" Natsu exclaimed in a high pitched voice. Gray looked disgusted and winced.

"Aren't they adorable." Levy whispered with a giggle. Lucy nodded with a smile, the two boys were truly something else.

"Or, if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love? And I'll no longer be a Capulet." Natsu continued, his high pitched voice went higher and gray looked more disgusted.

Lucy was pretty sure that Natsu forced him into this.

"Man I can't take it no more." Gray spoke up looking away. With that he sat back down at his seat. Natsu glanced longingly at Gajeel.

The boy shook his head.

"No." Natsu's eyes looked larger.

"Ugh man this is so weird." He stood up and walked to the front. The teacher even looked amused.

"Shall I hear more, or shall I speak at this?" With that Levy cracked up.
