Deku's POV

Why can't he realize that I like him? I thought I hated him, but it turns out it wasn't hate. Quite the opposite, actually.

Just go for it. Kacchan mumbled to himself. I wonder what he was thinking about. What was going through his head at that very moment. Right as he was about to open his mouth and speak Krishima walked in. He noticed us, turned around on his heel and walked back out.

"What was that?" I asked in confusion. Then I looked at him. He didn't have that angry look on his face. He kind of had a little smile on his face. It was just so cute.

"God damnit, Deku." He mumbled out. I really don't know what went on in his head. And I bet it was confusing for him as well. He then stood up. "I'm fine." He said once again as he walked out of the living room. I was left there alone for a few minutes just thinking about him. I love him so much. Why doesn't he just love me back? Of course I'd fall for the one guy that hates me.

Kacchan's POV

Kirshima and Kaminari were in the kitchen, eating. I sat down next to Kirishima and he nudged my arm with his elbow.

"How did it go?" He whispered in my ear.

"I couldn't bring myself to do anything." I said and he frowned "Now fuck off and eat." I added and he rolled his eyes at me.

"Whatcha talkin' 'bout?" Kaminari asked and Kirishima shrugged.

"Nothing important." He simply replied and I was relieved he answered for me.

"Guys, what should we do today?" Kaminari then asked.

"Uh, Bakugo and I already made plans, but you can hang out with Sero and Mina. I'm sure they're free." Kirishima said and I glared at him. We never made any plans! He just looked at me with a look that says 'trust me'. I decided to go with it, but I am mad he didn't say anything beforehand.

Deku's POV

I was in Todoroki's room talking about what happened. He was the only one who knew I had a crush on Kacchan and I really didn't want the word to go around and possibly get to Kacchan. That's why I only told Todoroki. I know he's not a man that goes around and tells everyone secrets. I also told him because he kind of figured it out himself.

"So did you make a move?" He asked all of a sudden. I shook my head.

"No. But he did ask a very odd question." I said and Todoroki's head shot my way.

"What did he ask?" He asked.

"Well he asked what I would do if I have a crush on someone I thought I hated. And I just feel like he was targeting me with that. He wanted to know if I maybe have a crush on someone. At least that's how it felt." I explained and Todoroki nodded and said nothing for a few moments.

"Just... make a move on him. Show him you care for him. Actions always say more than words." He said and I nodded in agreement. He's right. I have to do something. But I'm scared. I know that Kacchan can be scary. What if he does something to me? What if he does something bad?

I got pulled out of my thoughts when we heard screams and yells from downstairs. We both ran to the kitchen and realized that Uraraka and Mina were burning down the kitchen. Todoroki was quick to help and used his ice to basically freeze the whole kitchen. Soon the whole class gathered around to see what was happening.

"What the fuck happened here?" Kirishima asked when him and Kacchan got there. Todoroki answered and my eyes landed on Kacchan. He was also looking at me. He stopped looking at me when Kirishima nudged him in the shoulder and whispered something in his ear. Kacchan then walked away and Kirishima motioned for me to follow him. We walked out into the hallway where no one was hanging out. Kirishima checked to see if anyone was listening to him before he spoke up.

"Do you want to hang out with me and Bakugo later? In my room." He asked.

"But doesn't Kacchan like, hate me?" I questioned.

"I, uh, he said he's okay with you for a few hours." He said as he scratched his neck. He then chuckled awkwardly.

"Yeah, cool. I'll come by later." I said with a wide smile on my face. I bet I looked stupid, but I didn't care. Kirishima waved as he walked up the stairs. I stood there, happy that Kacchan finally said yes to hanging around me.

About a half hour later I was in my room, talking to Todoroki about what Kirishima said.

"That's great for you, Midoriya." He said and I nodded with a smile. "Maybe he's really warming up to you." He added and we heard a knock on the door.

"Come in." I said and Uraraka entered.

"Hey Deku, Todoroki. Mind if I hang around you for a bit?" She asked. I mentally sighed. I didn't have anything against her hanging out with us, but now I can't talk about Kacchan like I would if only Todoroki were here. We talked for a bit about different topics. Then Uraraka asked a question I hoped she wouldn't.

"You guys wanna do something tonight? C'mon, it's Saturday." She pushed. I looked at Todoroki, giving him a worried look.

"I can go." He simply said. "But Midoriya over here made plans with someone already. I'm sad to say he probably won't come along." He added and I just watched Uraraka's smile falter.

"I'm sorry." I apologized and gave her an apologetic look. She smiled at me.

"No, it's okay. I wasn't the first one to ask you to do something. That's life." She said with a sad smile on her face.

"Well, we can go now." Todoroki said to Uraraka. Then he turned to me and gave me a signaling look. I just nodded and waved as they left. I waited a few more minutes to make sure they were gone. Then I prepared myself and walked towards Kirishima's room. I knocked on the door. Kirishima opened them and I entered. I looked at Kacchan and his eyes went wide.
