backstory
vera grew up under a strict household, one that supported proper etiquette, polite manners, and a poised appearance. from a young age she was brought up to act proper, and was punished when she didn't. so it was strange for her to attend hogwarts and see all these free spirits, one who could act how they wanted.

from a young age the malfoy family and the nielson families have been close. vera's parents did not approve of lucius' extension towards dark magic, but they did like his son with their daughter. it was only natural for the two to become best friends, but they tended to seperate when draco started hanging out with crabbe and goyle, as well as when he began to act out. she did not like his rude attitude towards people who were not of pure blood.
