backstory
brooke was one of the fourty-three kids born on that fateful october first. she, however, was not taken by regeinald hargreeves and was instead put up for adoption. she was adopted by an older couple, ones who had lost their daughter a few years back. they were kind and the perfect fill in parents for brooke, even if they could have been her grandparents by the time she was 13.

growing up, brooke had always known she was different from the other kids. not physically, but sensually. her senses seemed to be on overload and everything was enhanced for her. she eventually learned that nobody else was like this, and although it frustrated her and made her seperate herself from others, she kept it a secret. she was scared she would be bullied, or sent away.

a few years later she ended up walking down the sidewalk to grab groceries for her parents, the same path she took everyday as to get a look at the umbrella academy house. however, someone ran into her forcefully, and when she opened her eyes it was snowing. turns out when five had time jumped and he had taken brooke with him.

enhanced senses
hearing — can pick up every single sound, hear at different frequencies, and can decipher layer upon layer of noise; ex) has the ability to pick up a conversation from a mile away if she really focuses
touch — feel things others can't; ex) vibrations in water, bumps in a paper, dents on the floor; small healing abilities (mostly only benefits herself, but at a cost)
smell — can detect specific smells, and locate their origin; could potentially tell if someone is lying but that's near to impossible for her
sight — can see with amazing clarity/detail, distance, in the dark, slow motion (rare), heat signatures (rare), and colors
taste — has an extremely developed sense of taste and may be able to detect poisons or other problems; may be able to taste all of their surroundings at once from a distance if she focuses enough
sixth sense — what she calls her "Spider-Sense" based off of her favorite superhero, brooke is able to tell if something bad is about to happen or if something bad is happening; it also sometimes gives her clairvoyant dreams, meaning she sees snippets of the future (rarely)

sensory overload — her senses can get to much for her to focus straight and becomes painfully dizzy. it disorients her from her surroundings and leads to her passing out
focus — if she focuses to hard she can get lost in her senses, mostly hearing, and dissociate from reality

healing — brooke has the smallest amount of the ability to heal small wounds. she can't heal broken bones or reattach limbs, but she can heal cuts. but it leads to her passing out, as it takes energy from her to do it
her emotions — her powers tend to be emotionally based, so if she's upset or can't focus it leads to censors overload
