Master and Padawan

Ezra felt a shiver run through his body. He opened his eyes to see his breath. Quickly he looked around for a ghost.
"It's just me Ezra." A woman in a brown robe said.
"Oh please don't tell me I'm a ghost again." Ezra said realizing he wasn't in his room again.
"Unfortunately you did." The woman said.
"You would think after seven years I would have this under control." Ezra said.
"It's been fifteen years since I've been in this form and I still haven't got the hang of not floating through the floors." The woman said.
"Well at least you're always a ghost Ghosty. I can't even control whether I'm alive or dead at the present moment." Ezra replied.
"That's why the cosmic council granted us both this ability. Your the bridge between the two worlds. A rear ability for our kind." The ghost woman said.
"Are you ever going to tell me about these special abilities I have anyways?" Ezra asked.
"I've told you before. I can only teach you this side of it. My former student was assigned as your master. Once he comes he will explain everything." She replied.
"You've been saying that since my parents were taken and the empire turned me into this." Ezra said gesturing to his ghostly form. "I'm sorry Depa, but I don't think your Caleb is ever coming."
"Have faith Ezra. I sense he is near. Although something has changed him. He's not Caleb anymore." Depa said.
Ezra turned back into his human form. His white hair now a dark blue and green eyes now blue.
"Well I better get some food before I'm completely dead." Ezra said before running off.
Depa rolled her eyes. She wasn't sure what the empire had done to her new student that had half killed him or how he was able to form a force ghost at such a young age. She just wished that Caleb would find the kid soon, so Ezra could learn about the living force as well as the cosmic force. She could sense that Caleb was on Lothal but he had yet to show up. The problem was that with the way things had been going lately if Caleb didn't show up soon Ezra would become completely one with the force. Getting food to support his living form was getting harder which was honestly why he had been slipping into his ghost form more often than normal. It was keeping him alive, but Depa didn't know how much longer it would last. It was like the boy had been cut in half and one half was waiting on the other half to die. He wanted to be whole again, but it wasn't his time.
"I have to find Caleb." Depa said. She faded right through the walls of the old comm tower looking for her padawan. She could feel that he was near and knew only he could save Ezra.
She saw Caleb. He was staring up at a rooftop. Depa looked up to see Ezra in human form hiding from him.
"It's finally happening." She said.
She watched as Ezra jumped off the roof and landed on the speeder Caleb and his friends were stealing. Then as Ezra took off with Caleb chasing after him.
Depa appeared in front of Ezra.
"Ezra the man chasing you is Caleb." She said.
"Please tell me he's not the big purple guy."
"No the other one." Depa replied.
"Then tell your padawan to stop shooting at me." Ezra shoot back.
"You know I can't." Depa replied.
The chase ended with both Caleb and Ezra's speeders getting shot by TIE's. Caleb had even managed to revile his new name to Ezra.
"Specter 1 to Ghost I need a pickup." Depa had heard Caleb say.
"On my Specter 1." A woman replied.
"Now that's ironic." Depa said with a smile as she heard the name of the ship her padawan was now living on.
The ship known as the Ghost caught up with Ezra. He had slipped into ghost form then back into human to avoid getting killed by the TIE's shots.
"Want a ride?" Kanan offered the kid.
Ezra wasn't going to get on board.
"Ezra if you don't jump on Caleb's ship now you'll be a full ghost." Depa said to her new student through the force.
"Kid you got any better options?" Kanan asked again.
"Ok I'll jump, but I'm taking the create." Ezra mumbled. He grabbed the create and jumped.
"No leave the crate. You'll never make it." Kanan yelled.
"Yes he will Caleb." Depa said to herself. She hadn't gotten far enough into Caleb's training for him to hear or see her now. Training Ezra would help there. That was if Ezra was willing to revile his secret to him.
Kanan was right. Ezra didn't make it. He was so close. Instead Ezra had switched forms and flew up passing through the ramp and create before changing back to human form. Kanan was shocked.
