" How much longer are u gonna search for the lost Silver Omega? Are u even sure he's alive?"

" Yes Sire..I know he was not among the dead in the tribe massacre we planned. We never got his remains nor his sister's..So he must be alive..she must've helped him escape. We just need to Sharpen our searches..he can't be far.."

-----

After the legendary wolf mates passed on, the United pack broke up into smaller clans  over time. At present there were five major wolf clans ruled by 5 golden wolf Alpha's..

The mighty mountain clan of Lyon, led by the Golden Wolf Earth Theerapat.

The Hawaiki clan of the swamps, led by Golden Wolf Forth Jutturapom.

The Asphodel clan of the meadows, led by Golden Wolf Praepailin.

The SOTUS clan of the south seas, led by Arthit Rojnapath.

And the final clan Nilfel,  of the harsh cold northern dry lands, led by an equally harsh and ruthless Nat Satdakorn.

The Nilfel were a clan that stood apart from the rest of the four clans. They preferred to defy the common wolf council and form their own rules. They were a wayward clan with no discipline or fear for anyone. The wolves had always kept a low profile to stay hidden among humans, but the Nilfel often behave in erratic reckless ways that had many a times threatened to reveal their presence to men.

The wolf council had issued grave warnings and they had finally agreed grudgingly to stay passive in return for a yearly stipend of money and supplies from the council. The stipend was paid for by the other four clans, who considered it a small price in return for the peace it would provide them.

But basic nature s hard to suppress and now and then a few stray incidents did happen. Nat the Alpha of the Nilfel was a Golden wolf. He knew the legend and the value of the Omega Eyolf. Infact he was smarter than he portrayed on the outside. He had traced the birth of Kongpob to his clan. He had hunted him since birth. Kong's parents had taken to nomadic lifestyle since the attacks started, seeking refuge from clan to clan.

Nat was a very ruthless and greedy wolf. He wanted to have the power over all the clans so he could exploit the wealth of the clan lands by himself.. he secretly kept a bunch of paid rogues to do his dirty work. These wolves were the ones who hunted down Kong as a kid and eliminated his family during a raid. He lost a clan, parents and even the desire to live.

But he was unaware of the danger he was in. Kong knew the legend, but he never was told the attempts made on his life, by his parents. When they were about to reveal it, the massacre happened. It was sheer luck that namtarn and he escaped alive.

Namtarn also was unaware of these complications. Had she known she'd have told kong about them.

Now, after the attack it was Arthit's duty to report to the council, so he sent a message with the details.

The council on it's part decided it was time to conduct an enquiry and put a stop to these attacks as the rogues were getting bolder and attacking more frequently.

The five clan leaders would gather on neutral ground along with the elders council and an inquiry would be held. Arthit would have to provide proof on his part and any suspicion that he had. He had gathered foot prints, hair samples from the assault area and also a shredded piece of cloth from the trees.

He couldn't get a venom sample as they did not bite Kong. The wolves had venom unique to the strain tat they belonged to. If he'd had that it would have been easier in pointing the finger at the culprits. But still they'd something to present at least.

If the other clans objected to the proof as insufficient or demanded to see the injured wolf, he'd have to produce Kong before the council. Until then Arthit would protect Kong's identity.

All this, Arthit had done before kong woke up. The meeting though was scheduled for a week later. He hoped by then that he could get Kong to admit his status to the pack.

They were mates and he felt bad, that he hadn't made the effort to know Kong since his dad had adopted the siblings. Still it was not too late.

Arthit was a persistent Alpha. He had charm and could win hearts just by looks, but he was also a man who could win by words. His pack meetings were always packed and full of cheer. He was also the favourite of all the pups in the pack.

They always flocked around Arthit uncle to listen to his stories. He'd even listen to their queries. Whenever the kids had a dispute they found him, as they knew he was always fair in his judgement.

Arthit was also the most eligible bachelor of the pack. Wolves had raging hormones and during ruts and heats , unmated dominants and submissives would indulge with each other. It was normal for them to have sex with anyone that was willing. So Arthit had also had his share of partners in the act. And the cause of many a submissive's heart break.

Kong on the other hand had stayed clear of dominants during the ruts and his heats were suppressed by heat suppressants..so he was still a virgin.

So after Arthit had locked him in his house, Kong had no choice but to stay.

He slept fully clothed that day in the arms of his Alpha. For the first time experiencing the warmth of someone other than his sister holding him.Arthit held him the whole night.
