2 weeks. It has been two weeks since Ben Parker's death, and a week since his funeral.
I was sitting in Peter's room, my back against the wall as I watched him sleep. He had only been asleep for a few minutes, but it felt like hours. Every time he came to school, he would leave, saying he should be at home with his Aunt.
And every time he left, I had the feeling he was doing something bad. I just knew it.
I snapped my head over at the window, hearing the blaring of police sirens. I turned to Peter, who was still sound asleep. Standing up, I picked up my back, opened his window, and jumped out of it, landing in the alley way.
Unzipping my backpack, I pulled out my black and white spandex suit that Mykie had made me, pulling my hair back as it turned white. I stripped down faster than the blink of an eye, my suit on just as fast.
I slapped my mask on, my eyes turning white as I flung my bag in the air, using one of the new powers I discovered I had by sticking it to the wall. I flew up in the air, blasting my way towards the sound of the sirens.
It was one of the classics, an apartment complex was on fire. There was a woman screaming and crying at a fire fighter, something about her baby still being in there. I saw someone point at me, everyone staring as I blasted my way into the apartment building.
The noise of a baby crying was all I could hear, sending myself into flight mode as I kicked a door open, running to the cradle and picked up the baby. I threw myself out the window, floating down in front of the woman who was crying.
"Oh thank god. Bless you, dear. W-What is your name?" She said, her old sunken eyes staring into mine. I smiled, nodding at her.
"Phantom. You can call me Phantom." And with that, I flew back up into the air, making my way back to Peter's house.
I changed back into my clothes, coughing out some ash. I jumped, my hands gripping onto the railing of the metal stairs that rested on the side of the apartment and climbed up. I crawled back into Peter's room, setting my bag down. I looked at Peter for a moment before I sat down next to him on his bed, gently shaking him.
"Peter?" I said calmly, hearing him grumble in answer. "Peter come on. We should get you out of the house." He opened his eyes slowly, looking up at me. I smiled weakly as he sat up, resting the back of his head on the wall.
"Can't I just sleep my life away?" He asked, looking at me with puffy eyes. I chuckled, shaking my head.
"If you did that then I wouldn't get to see you." I said as he closed his eyes, nodding. "Come on, Peter. There's a new ice cream shop that opened just down the street." I said, standing up. Both of our phones buzzed, me and Peter grabbing them as the Daily Bugle notification popped up.
"The Phantom has once again come to the rescue." Peter said, frowning.
"All she did was save a baby from a burning building. I've seen Iron Man do better." I said as Peter laughed, standing up. Hearing his laugh brought a smile to my face, as he hasn't laughed in a long time.
"Hey Felicity. Have you heard of that Spider-Man guy?" Peter said as we walked down the street to the ice cream shop. I shrugged slightly, looking at him as my hair blew in my face.
"I've seen news articles on him, but I haven't seen him. I think he may have stolen your name, Parker." I said with a small chuckle, playfully pushing him with my elbow. Peter chuckled nervously, nodding his head.
"Maybe. He's pretty cool though, don't you think?" He asked, facing me as we walked up to the shop. I shrugged once more as I ordered my ice cream.
"I guess. I think Phantom is better. I think she might be pretty powerful." I said as I took my ice cream. Peter grabbed his, seeming to look more nervous as we sat down.
"I guess. Maybe they are working together." Peter said, sounding a little unconfident. I shook my head.
"If they were then why haven't they been spotted together?" I asked, licking my ice cream. Peter shrugged, now unsure of what to say.
After what felt like forever, I tossed the plastic container that held my ice cream into the garbage bin, Peter watching as it landed in the hole. "Since when did you learn how to aim?" He asked. I laughed, shrugging.
"Lucky shot?" I said as he did the same. "Now you're just trying to make this a competi-" There was a large blast that came from down the street, both me and Peter standing up quickly.
"I- uh.. I need to go." I said, turning to face Peter. But he was already gone. I ran off into an alley way my breath quickening. I spun around, trying to search for a place to set my clothes. I groaned as I couldn't find a spot, settling on just leaving them on the ground as I changed into my suit, flying into the air to see a cloud of smoke coming from a large intersection.
"Look! It's Phantom and Spider-Man!" Someone yelled from below. I turned my head, seeing someone swinging from a web that looked familiar, but I couldn't put my finger on it. Unlike my suit, Spider-Man seemed to be wearing.
"A onesie?" I said as he landed next to me, flailing his hands into the air.
"It's the best I can do until I get more money!" He said, looking at the cloud of smoke. I frowned, his slightly muffled voice sounding very familiar, but I didn't know why.
"Well, let's hope you can do something like this." I said, outstretching my hands as they started to glow. The cloud of smoke started to grow thinner as I moved it up, trying to send it farther into the atmosphere so we could see better. Spider-Man swung down to the intersection, disappearing into the smoke.
I pulled my hands back before throwing them ahead of me, the smoke disappearing into thin air before I floated to the ground, my knees bending far down before I stood up, looking at all the chaos. I heard a yell, most likely from Spider-Man.
"TURN AROUND!" He yelled, pointing at me. I tilted my head, hearing a booming laugh as I spun around, getting hit with something hard. I did several flips as I flung backwards a few feet, landing in front of Spider-Man.
"Jesus that'll leave a bruise." I said, grunting as I stood up next to him. He just stared ahead at what hit me. I squinted, brushing the hair out of my face to see what looked to be a man dressed in black holding a remote.
"Good. Now that you two are here we can make this easy!" The man said, ripping of his ski-mask.
"Make what easy? Kicking your butt?!" Spider-Man said. I turned to face him, a smile but a frown on my face.
"No! The agreement! You two take off your masks and reveal to the world you you are... Or I blow up this entire block!" He yelled, waving the remote in the air. I gasped, looking around quickly as my vision changed.
I couldn't believe what I was seeing. There were over 20 bombs in the street, each in a different building. Neither Spider-Man or I would be fast enough to get to the bombs in time.
"Hey woah buddy we don't have to do that!" Spider-Man said, taking a step towards the man.
"Lets just... Be civil about this. You drop the remote, and walk away. And we won't hurt you!" I said, feeling my breathing hitch. The man laughed, dropping his arm. I felt my hands burn up, looking down to see the white flames.
"You know I'm not doing that until I see your faces!" He yelled. I glared at the man, taking a look at Spider-Man before throwing my arm in front of me, a white bolt of electricity coming from my hand, hitting the remote as it burst into tiny pieces.
The man yelled as Spider-Man shot webs at him, wrapping him up. We ran towards the man as he groaned. I zapped him with a small bolt of electricity, knocking him out.
"I'll get the bombs, you get him to jail." I said as Spider-Man nodded, picking the man up and swinging away. I looked around, zooming through every building I saw a bomb in, throwing them into an interdimensional portal, watching as they blew up in a black hole.
I turned around to see everyone cheering and clapping as me and Spider-Man walked out. Waving to everyone as they cheered our names. I shrugged as Spider-Man swung into the air and I flew up, both of us heading in different directions.

Some of her powers are ideas from Wanda Maximoff, so I do not take credit for any of these powers. like power #10, that idea comes from Vibe (Cisco Ramon) and many other powers are ideas from the Marvel and DC universe. She has yet to figure out all of her powers, like #1, 2, and 9. I would like to say that her powers give her the ability to defeat Wanda, most likely making her one of the most powerful heroines. (that I myself have created) She has weaknesses, so I definitely do not want to call her over-powered as I won't make it impossible for her to defeat. Those weaknesses include:
1. She is able to actually be harmed
2. Easily becomes unconfident if she is losing something, causing her to lose control of her powers and make her vulnerable.
3. Plutonium (My idea.)
She has other weaknesses but I have yet to figure them out.
Other than that hope you all enjoyed the chapter.
