God I'm so stupid. I should have known it was Parker behind the mask. I mean. It's SO obvious.

His name for starters. Spider-Man. The night- God that god awful night. And That bite on his neck after the blast was probably from a radioactive spider. And not to mention his voice.

Thankfully I had built a mini machine to place under my chin that vibrates at a different frequency to change my voice so that no one suspected it to be me.

Holy shit and Peter now knows that I- Phantom, know his name.

Well to him I only know his last name.

I hope.

How the fuck am I supposed to tell him I know? Wait, maybe Ned knows! That's why he was acting so weird! Yes I can tell him first!

I pulled out my phone, frantically searching for Ned's caller ID, the one he said he liked to be called.

Me: NED. MY HOUSE. NOW.

Guy In The Chair: Oh god what did I do... I'm on my way.

I crept down the long corridors of my house, well, more like a giant modern castle now that I actually lived alone. Within the hour, there was a knock on my door, a wide eyed and gaping mouth Ned standing in the doorway.

I glowered at him, frowning furiously. He slowly walked in, the room growing tense as I gestured for him to follow me.

"Sit." I said, pointing to the white sofa. Ned quickly ran over at the sound of my angered tone, holding his hands together as he silently prayed.

"D-Did I do something?" He asked, looking up at me as I paced back and forth, nibbling on my fingers.

"How long have you known?" I asked, still pacing. Ned gave me a confused and fake look.

"Pardon?" He asked in one of his accents.

"Don't play stupid, Ned. I know you know Peter is Spider-Man." Ned's shaking leg came to a halt as I heard his increasing heart rate beat faster, even though he looked dead.

"Peter? Spider-Man? PFFT" He exaggerated the last bit, throwing a hand my direction as he forced out a laugh. "If you think Peter is Spider-Man than I am OBVIOUSLY Phantom." He said with a smile.

"You aren't Phantom for one. And two. I know Peter is Spider-Man because it's OBVIOUS." I said, frowning. "That, and I saw him change into his suit way slower than I thought he would. It was like he was asking to be caught." Ned started shaking again.

"Oh great you're going to tell everyone aren't you?!" He said, standing up. I snorted before laughing, holding my stomach. "Whats so funny?"

"It's funny because you think I'd tell everyone Peter Parker is Spider-Man when I, Felicity Marie Dagger, am Phantom." Now it was Ned's turn to laugh. He bent over, slapping his knee as I cleared my throat.

Ned looked up, a wave of fear and shock washing over him as he stared me in my glowing white eyes, my hands engulfed in a white fire as I floated in the air, my hair blowing around, despite the fact there was no wind.

"HOLY SHIT YOU'RE PHANTOM! YOU-YOU'RE FLYING!" He said, pointing at me. I returned to normal, now questioning why I just revealed my secret identity to Ned. "H-How?! Were you bitten by a radioactive sider too? Oh do you lay alien eggs?! OH DO YOU-"

"NED!"

"Sorry."

"Look. The day Peter was bitten, you saw me get launched back by a wave of the blast. It shocked me with some type of white lightning, and now I have these powers." I said, looking at my now normal hands.

Ned looked at me, a small sigh escaping him. "Look. I know it isn't my place to say this. But I think you should tell Peter you know or 'accidentally' come across him changing into his spider-suit. Either that, or wait it out and hopefully he tells you because I'll be honest, he REALLY wants to tell you." He said, exaggerating the 'really'

"And why would he tell me? We've only been true friends again since the start of Sophomore year." I said, crossing my arms as I felt my stomach turn weightless at the thought of Peter.

What are you doing, brain? Stop it.

"Well uh.. Because- you know. You're his friend and he trusts you!" Ned's phone buzzed, indicating he had to leave. "Alright. Nice, terrifying chat. But I have to go. We can talk about this some other time. But I'd prefer not to. You get really scary when you're angry." He said, walking to the door as I snorted.

"Please, Ned. That was just the tip of the ice burg for scary. Wait till you see my dark si-" My enhanced hearing picked up the noise of a screaming woman, turning my head to the giant windows. I turned back to Ned, but he was gone.

Running up the stairs, I slipped off my socks, quickly changing into my Phantom costume at an ungodly speed as I looked at the time.

4:30. Hopefully it doesn't take too long. I thought as I burst out my balcony and flew in the direction of the screaming, seeing Peter swinging his way my direction.

"HEY-- SO ABOUT-- YOUR CALL-- WITH TONY-- STARK--" He yelled between swings. I laughed, looking at Spider-Man as he swung. "ISN'T IT-- A BAD IDEA-- TO BECOME-- AN AVENGER?" He flipped onto a building, searching for the woman.

"Aw what, you afraid you'll have to reveal your secret identity to me?" I said with a smirk.

"U-Uh well. Um."

"I'm just messing with you, Bug-Brain. There she is." I said, pointing to see a woman getting surrounded by three men, whistling and howling at her. She yelled, slapping one of them hard with her bag.

I watched in fear for a moment as two of the men grabbed her wrists, pinning her to the cold brick wall as the other grabbed her throat, trailing a hand up her exposed thigh. I gulped, feeling myself start to panic as memories flew in my mind.

"Phantom!" I jerked my head, facing Spider-Man, who was staring at me with a worried masked look. "Are you alright?"

"Forget about me, when need to save her!" I said, not thinking as I jumped down, surprising myself as I landed with barely a thud.

"Didn't your mothers ever teach you to not put a hand on women unless they say to?" I said as Spider-Man hopped down next to me, the three men facing us as the one with his hand on the girls thigh laughed.

"With this dress, she was practically asking for it!" He howled. I clenched my fists, walking up to the man as I swung, watching as a white fire of flesh connected with normal flesh. I smile crossing my face before it quickly faded.

The man backed into the light, fear washing over me as I recognized his face.

Oh god his face...

I took a step back, too busy standing in fear to notice him get up and throw a punch to my nose, sending my head snapping back as I fell on my ass, holding my nose as it bled.

"YOU DON'T TOUCH HER!" Was all I heard as Spider-Man beat up all three men, leaving me basically curled up in a ball with a handful of nose blood.

I felt useless.

Powerless.

Un-needed as Spider-Man beat the men up on his own, the damsel in distress now long gone.

I watched as each man fell to Peter's feet, unconscious or in too much pain to stand up.

Why are you so god damned useless, Felicity?

Spider-Man doesn't need your useless help.

Just quit.

It would be better off without you in the way.

You're always getting distracted.

You're a terrible superhero.

"Phantom? Is your nose alright?" Spider-Man said. I looked u at him, still holding my hand up to my nose, feeling the blood trickle off my hand and onto my suit.

"Y-Yeah. I um.. I'm sorry I need to go, Mr. Stark is expecting me any minute." I flew off quickly, leaving Spider-Man with him.

I flew home, tears running down my face, mixing with the blood on my nose and cheeks. I washed my suit and hands, wiping the blood and tears off my face. And one thing is for sure.

There isn't even a single drop of sweat on me.

I threw one punch. I let my confidence grow before it was shattered.

And the man I punched was never punished for what he did to me.

God I feel so weak.

I turned to my phone, which started buzzing, Happy's ID on the screen.

"Hey Happy." I sniffed, wiping the tears away.

{"Are you alright? You sound like you've been-"}

"I'm fine. Tears of joy. I'm about to meet my hero." I lied, trying to put on a fake smile as I quickly changed into something presentable, walking up to the roof and onto the helicopter landing.

{"Understandable. Listen, a few of the Avengers will be with Mr. Stark, so don't be surprised."} I felt fear and excitement pass through me as a private jet landed on the landing.

"Got it, Happy. Mr. Stark is here, I'll talk to you later." I said, hanging up. Even though I had known Happy for a few hours, I felt like I had known him my whole life. We already had hundreds of texts talking about the things we enjoyed doing, what Mr. Stark would ask me, what would happen if I became an Avenger, things like that.

('Stark')

"I would like to believe you are Felicity Dagger?" I turned my head, coming face to face with THE Tony Stark. I couldn't help but silently burst into excitement. He was the main reason I created my Replacement Assistant Youth, or R.A.Y for short.

Sure, I stole the name from F.R.I.D.A.Y but hey, I'm 16 and terrible with acronyms.

"Mr. Stark! It's so nice to meet you!" I said, shaking his hand a little to hard, seeing as he squinted.

"Damn that's a grip. I didn't know Phantom had super strength." I froze. How the hell does he know?

"Mr. Stark I don't think I quite follow what you mean." I said as we walked into the jet. I gasped, seeing most of the original Avengers. Bruce Banner, Thor, Steve Rogers, isn't that the winter soldier Bucky Barnes? Natasha Romanoff and may I say, huge fan of hers. I walked behind Mr. Stark before bumping into him, turning to see-

"Peter?" Peter just started at me with shock on his face as he stood there, mask off.

In his Spider-Man suit.

"FELICITYWHYAREYOUHERE" He yelled quickly, grabbing Bruce's blanket and yanking it around his neck.

"Oh please, Parker. I already knew you were Spider-Man." Well there goes having our moment together.

Wait did I just say our moment?

Well technically I thought it instead of saying it.

"Y-you did?" He said, watching as his face turned rosey. I nodded, turning back to Mr. Stark.

"So I assume that you haven't told anyone else here or him?" I said, frowning. Mr. Stark chuckled quietly, shaking his head.

"Well then if you must all know. My name is Felicity Dagger." I started. scooting my way in front of Mr. Stark.

Here goes nothing.

Do I have to tell them? Peter is here. He can't know yet. He's an Avenger. He has to know. Does he?

I think he has the right. Since I do know his secret identity now. Ugh whatever just say it already.

"And I am the Phantom."

***

Yes this chapter is terrible. I know.

Get over it.
