Gazing stars at nights never bored me. The night was cold and the breeze carried the smoke away. As you worked till midnight I stayed awake. My eyes aimlessly staring at the cloudy sky as it played hide and seek with the moon. Trying to locate the face I once imagined on the moon made me smile. How beautiful is it? But sometimes it made me wonder who kept me awake. You or the moon?

Slut, harlot and skank are the words that are vaguely familiar to me. The words that were whispered in hushed silence. The words that added more fuel to my past wounds.

The thing that infuriated me to the most was watching unknown people judge me inspite of knowing literally nothing about me. As if I was a slut, for accepting my husband's second marriage. As if I was the one who cheated.

Well... I wish I didn't care. Inspite of living two lifetimes filled with people bad mouthing me, it still hurt me. Their un acceptance, hatred and judgement made goosebumps appear on my arms. Why did it still hurt?

I wanted to shout at them that I am not a slut. I never cheated on a person who loved me, I never broke promises.

Fighting countless wars alone, shouldn't this be the easiest one? There are dumb students, for gods sake I am almost twice their age.

Okay, Rosie calm down. Stop caring about everyone. They are neither your friends nor your relatives. Then what's there to lose? Just ignore their harsh words.

Breathe in. Breathe out.

I should focus on my motive, that is revenge. Yes, revenge will put an end to all my past tears and trauma. It will be all good in the end. This should be my only motive.

Destroying Siddharth completely.

I wanted to make him beg, to make him cry tears of blood and kick him further to ease my pain. His pain will be the essence my heart desires, the thing that will lighten the hatred in my heart. That will heal my broken heart.

Looking back these were the things I regretted...

Writer's p.o.v:

Smiles are powerful assets. It can scare a person away or can lure them in your trap. Siddharth's smile had that power. Her heart was burning as she stared at his perfect smile. He thought it was his sweet smile but she could she through it. There was excitement in his eyes, as if he was winning something from luring her in this trap.

Her lanes have turned lonely, she wished she could turn back time and live those happy moments again. She wished her Sid could be hers forever. Her hands trembled as she nodded at him. Her bright smile was fake. Veiling the pain amd anger that she felt at that moment. She stepped closer to him. Her heart was beating as she admired his face. A light stubble covered his jaw. His grey eyes were gazing her as she drank his features. Nostalgia and love was all hit her once as she came closer to achieving her plan.

Her eyes blinked at him and she asked in a soft voice.

"Can I hug you?" He nodded taking her in his sweet embrace. She could hear his heart beating heck she could feel it. She was craving his love, his sweet voice as he whispered in her ears. That he loved her. She wanted to end her revenge and stay in this man's embrace till the end of her life. She still loved him.

Her black eyes turned hot as she swayed slightly, the person who was embracing her, tightened his hold on her. She caressed his back as she retracted from his addicting embrace and looked at his face.

"I love you, Siddharth" She muttered softly her eyes staring at his, her arms around his neck.

"I know princess" He whispered kissing her forehead lightly.

"Do you love me?" She asked him, her nerves all over the place.

"Yes I do" He answered.

"No, say I love you too" She requested.

"Why? I said I do. Isn't it enough?" He asked her frowning.

"No. It's not enough. Tell me you love me" I demanded bringing my lips near his cheeks.

"I... love you" He stuttered his frown disappeared as she kissed between his brows.

"I love you too"
