The memories of what happened, without my permission, surfaced.

(Flashback)
"It's you fault your mothers dead, and you will be punished" my drunk father shouted whilst grabbing my shoulder. I try to back away but the more I move the more my shoulder hurts. What did I do to deserve this, it wasn't my fault mum died in a car crash with a drunk driver. I thought with tears in my eyes. My father punches me in the stomach and I fall to the ground coughing up blood. He smirks evilly and goes into the kitchen. I take this time to get upstairs but as I'm halfway up the drunk man gets a hold of my ankle and drags me down. My eyes catch sight of what he has in his hands, a sharp knife, I curled into a ball. Why eyes widen as I feel a fire burning from my stomach, I look down and regret looking as I see the knife stabbed in my stomach. Seconds later every thing turns black...

(Flashback over)

I feel my breathing quicken as i think about what happened. My arms start shaking and I realise I'm having a panic attack. "M'lady calm down, please." I hear the familiar voice of chat noir say as he jumps back onto the balcony, that's when I realise I'm in my room. My legs are now shaking and I feel myself start to fall only to be caught by chat "DON'T TOUCH ME!" I scream in panic, pushing his chest as hard as I can to try and get away "purr" I hear chat purring "I'm not going to hurt you princess." Chat says, calming me down slightly, pulling me to his chest in a comforting hug "how did you do that? One she let you hug her two you calmed her down, no one else has been able to do that" Nathanael questions shyly but with amazement. Chat looks at Nathanael and shrugs his shoulders and continues purring to calm me down. I curl into his chest and sigh I've just met him yet I feel safe in his arms, why is this? I questioned myself as I slowly drift off to sleep.

(Nathanael's pov)

I look over at (y/n) and notice she's asleep "what happened to make her react this way?" Chat noir asks, I look at him wondering if I should tell the hero or not and sigh " her father attacked her, blaming her for her mothers death, and ended up stabbing her in the stomach. She was in a coma for two months. That's why she's here, we couldn't let her go to an orphanage so we took her in." I explained briefly hoping that he would understand that I don't want to talk about it. "So what should I do with her, she's asleep?" Chat noir asked "just put her in the bed" I reply pointing to the single bed pushed up against the wall. Chat nods in reply and stands up and the top (y/n) wearing rises showing a scar going across her stomach, he gasps and gently lays her down on the bed and sits on the bed next to where she lays. Chat looks up at me and I notice tears in his eyes.

(Y/n) pov

When I wake up the first thing I notice is that there's someone sat next to me, the second thing I notice is that the person is crying. " why are you crying, chat?" I ask, he just looks me in the eyes and looks down. I follow his line of sight to see my top revealing my scar, I gaps and cover it up. I sigh "you know...don't you?" I question knowing the answer, I knew I was correct when he nodded, I continue "don't cry kitty. Please, I don't like it when your sad." I look him in the eyes to show him that I'm being honest. I bring my hand up to his face and gently rub away the tears "there, much better" I say with a smile then I lean my head on his chest. I feel his chest vibrate as he chuckles, I lift my head and bring my hands up to his cat ears and pet them. This causes him to start purring again "aww, that's just adorable" I say with a happy smile on my face, a real smile not the fake ones that normally hide my sadness. Im not gong to ruin this moment by telling him that my father has been abusing me for three years...
