"Noooo why is this night so difficult!"   whined as Freddy's lullaby chimed through your screen. Edric, who had come over to your house to play five nights at Freddy's with you, looked carefully at the screen.

"Maybe cuz you keep losing power," he spoke up.

"Yes no duh captain obvious." You rolled your eyes playfully, he chuckled.

"Can I try?" He asked.

"Sure, go for it," you got up from your chair and let Ed sit down. He started from the beginning of the night, night 4. So far doing fairly well, stopping Bonnie and Chica a few times.

"What do I do when Foxy gets out..?" He turned towards you.

"You gotta close the left door and then go to the end of the left hallway cam." You explained. He nodded and turned back to the game, quickly closing the door and stopping Foxy. Freddy laughed close to the door. Panic set in as Edric didn't quite know how to stop Freddy. Assuming he was like Bonnie and Chica, Edric turned the light on and saw he wasn't there. Within a minute, Freddy jumpscared Edric.

"Why'd he kill me? He wasn't there when I checked," Edric looked puzzled at the computer screen.

"Freddy is weird, from what I know you gotta open cams to stop him from moving but he seems to move anyway." You answered as best as you could. Freddy was difficult to you too.

"Maybe try leaving the cams on Freddy, not Foxy," He suggested. You gave his idea a go, and it actually worked.

"..how did you know how to do that?" You turned to him. He shrugged.

"You said you had to watch the cams, why not watch Freddy's cam?" Edric replied.

"Huh never thought of that," You said.

{Time Skip}

You and Edric were just sitting on your bed now, watching random YouTube videos.

"I'll be right back," Edric got up and left your room, closing the door behind him. Thinking nothing of it you continued to watch videos. All of a sudden, the lights flickered off in your room, then an all familiar tune started playing. Freddy's lullaby. Terrified, you huddled into the corner of your bed, expecting a brown bear to bust through the door. The door opened and your fears were proven true, Freddy Fazbear was right there. Then he poofed..?

"Did I scare you?~" Edric taunted, walking into your room.

Hyperventilating a bit at this point, "Yes, why did you think that was a good idea?!" You stated. He sat down next to you, calming you down from the fright.

"I thought it'd be funny, I'm sorry, are you okay?" He felt quite bad about what happened.

"Yea I think I'll be okay," You looked up at him, taking note of the huge look of concern on his face.

"How did you make that illusion so real?" You asked, it actually looked just like Freddy Fazbear was about to jumpscare you.

"Lots of training I guess," he shrugged, "I've pranked my sisters a lot, I made Luz's fears out of illusions with Emira."

"..could you do it again?" You asked quietly. Even though you were scared, that illusion was incredibly convincing. He nodded, tracing a circle in the air, making the brown bear appear. Edric seemed to be having a lot of fun with this illusion as he started to make Freddy perform for you.

You couldn't be sure of this, but you think he was enjoying the child-like look of wonder on your face while watching the illusion. What started as an afternoon playing Five Nights at Freddy's, ended in an evening watching Edric make illusions. Eventually both of you had fallen asleep. The room that was once full of life with illusions and laughter, was now inactive and blanketed with sleep.
