Onesided love

I loved you

in a way I've never felt before
in a way that made my heart wanting to jump out of my chest
in a way that made my cheeks blush everytime you laid your eyes on me

but your eyes were cold
when you looked at me

I loved you
but you didn't return my love

I wanted you closer
but you didn't

and I'm okay with that

because I realised
that a flower thinks that the sun is the most perfect thing in this universe
because its sunshines give the flower a feeling of vibrancy and beauty

but if the the flower touched the sun,
its blossoms would catch fire and the beautiful flower would go down in ashes

and that's what I realised

so now I know that you aren't meant to be mine

that we aren't meant to be close

now that I know that

I will wait

but not for you

because I'd rather hide in the shadow and keep my blossoms a little longer closed

to open them up to someone who's meant to see the beauty

someone who will water the flower everyday
and gift it with love when it's getting cold

someone with a heart filled with vibrant fire

but a touch of pleasant warmth
