6:00 pm
"So, your mom wants me to pick up your friend before going over to her friend's house?" Your dad asks.

"Yeah..you remember Cole from my school. Known him since middle school..." You say not really feeling putting up to his antics.

"Oh, him."

"Yeah. You remember where his house is right?"

"Yeah just make sure he's ready."

"Alright." You said as he walked away.

You take out your phone from your pocket and shoot Cole a text.

Me: Coleee!! My dad is gonna pick you up with us on the way to my mom's friend's house. K.

You waited for a response before you heard his ringtone.

Buckets ',:) : Ok cool 😁 I'm ready to go!

Buckets ',:) : How was Father's Day with him?

Me: I'll tell you later..

Buckets ',:) : Ok 😊 see you later laur!

You put your phone away, you couldn't wait to leave.

7:15 pm

Time to go! You felt your anxiety leave you as you and Lili put all your bags in his car.

You all get in but before you and your sister could buckle up.

"Lili sit next to Lauryn." You dad said.

He really didn't like any of your guy friends sitting next to you whenever he's around.

Lili got out of the front passenger seat and sat next to you in the back passenger seat.

You sigh and he started the car.

Eventually the car reached Cole's street.

You quickly text Cole,

Me: Come on out, we're here. :3

When the car parked in front of his house, Cole immediately stepped out with a suitcase and a backpack on his shoulder ready to go.

He hugged his dad goodbye before turning and heading for the car.

You smile and wave at him from the window.

"Stay in the car." Your dad instructs as he steps out to help Cole with his bags.

"Uggghhhhh.." You groan at your dad.

Lili pats you on the shoulder and you accept the comfort.

You heard talking and the trunk pop open and bags being loaded in.

Once it closed, you saw Cole get in one side and your dad get in the drivers side.

Once Cole buckled up he turned around and smiled at you and your sister.

"Hi Lauryn! Hi Lili!" He greeted cheerily.

You found it amazing how Cole could be so happy around the coldest of people.

"Hi Cole!" You greet him with a small smile.

"Sup." Your sister said not looking up from her phone.

Cole turned back around and your dad began to drive off. 

The radio was turned on to kill the silence, you'd have to be stuck like this for a half hour.

You decided to text Cole since you didn't feel like speaking up.

Me: You excited to go to Disney? 😄

You looked up and saw Cole look down at his phone then look over to you.

You gestured for him to respond back and he turned back around and started typing.

Buckets ',:) : Totally!! 😃 are you?

Me: Of course!! It's just my dad puts me in a gloomy mood but I'll start fangirling when we get there don't worry 😆

Buckets ',:) : Haha alright cool.

You and Cole pretty much texted the whole ride until you both got there.

It was now 8 at night.
