The two were being thrashed around in the water till they both got pulled through an opening on the side of where the water was going.

y/n fell through the opening and hit the ground hard. Before he could get up, neteyam fell through as well, hitting y/n who was almost up making him hit the ground again.

y/n turned over and slowly got up he looked around and saw neteyam was sent a bit farther than he did. He walked over and crouched down next to him. He looked like he was knocked out.

Luckily y/n knew exactly what to do he raised his hand then…

That slap sent him flying a few more feet before Neteyam quickly sat up placing his hand on his face.

Neteyam: agh what the hell y/n

Y/n: hey there sleeping beauty finally wake I see

Neteyam rubbed his face as he went to get up.

Neteyam: still that hurt anyway where are we?

Y/n: no idea. But what I do know is we need to find a way out.

Neteyam nodded his head as he went to walk forward but fell to the ground. Y/n went over to check on him.

Y/n: hey what's wrong? Was it because I slapped you too hard when I tried to wake you up?

Neteyam: no agh I think it's my ankle.

y/n: here let me see your foot

He grabbed his leg and turned it a bit to see his ankle better. looking at it, seeing it red and a bit swollen.

Y/n: well good news is that it doesn't look too bad. I don't have anything to help with it though I think you twisted it on something when we were being thrown around on our way through the cave.

Neteyam: ok uh just give me a minute alright I just need a moment.

y/n stood up looking around thankfully though the place was lit up from the plants and rockets around the two. Now that he noticed that he looked at his own body seeing some small dots lighting up on his body.

He let out a sigh as he remembered something. He turned to Neteyam.

Y/n: Neteyam what are you doing here?

Neteyam let out a chuckle before a small sigh came out of him, his tail slumped down.

Neteyam: I couldn't let the feeling go, remember what I told you?

Y/n: yeah I think so when you mention having a feeling that some bad was going to happen right?

Neteyam: yeah that one…. I just wanted to come because I wanted to make sure that you are fine

Y/n: hey do you really have that little doubt in me

Neteyam looked at him almost like he had no emotion in his eyes. Before laughing a little.

Neteyam: of course I trust you to be safe but still I want make sure you are fine so I been following you guys ever since you left

Y/n: you've been following us since dam how did we not see you.

Neteyam: I tried to hang back a few times when you almost saw me.

Y/n: huh I did when?

Neteyam: one was right after you guys started to leave. I accidentally made a loud splash so I had to dive under on my IIu. The other was when I grabbed one of the fish you and my dad got I accidentally let go of it.

Y/n: oh so that's what those were. I actually did see you though before this you were hiding behind a rock.

Neteyam: i thought so…. So are you angry about me coming?

Y/n: no I have no reason but damn you were by yourself for a long time huh.

Neteyam: yeah but I'm here now.

Y/n nodded before push his hand down towards him. Neteyam looked at him before grabbing it.

Y/n wrapped his arm under Neteyam arm to help him walk easier.

Neteyam: thanks and sorry for being a burden on you

Y/n: it fine really now come on we got to find a way out from this place

He nodded as the two went the only way forward through a path they just walked around hoping that a way out will be shown soon.

Y/n rubbed the back of his head.

Neteyam: Is something wrong?

Y/n: I'm just confused on why your dad dropped that bomb

Neteyam: Your question is as good as mine. As soon as I saw you getting flung around by it I tried to get to you.

Y/n: that was just a horrible moment to do that and he could have gotten others hurt from it.

Neteyam: agree my father must have made a mistake or missed judgment on when to do that.

Y/n: Hopefully he is just rusty from not fighting for a while.

Neteyam nodded. They have been walking for a while with no end in sight or even an exit.

Y/n lets out a small chuckle catching Neteyam attention.

Neteyam: what's funny?

Y/n: it just that we always end up in caves I guess last time didn't go so well.

Neteyam: "sigh" yeah I guess that true huh last time we thought you and tuk might have died.

Y/n: yeah I know it just funny and now this back in a cave kind of reminds me of that is all.
