Sitting here in this place,
My mind starts to change focus.
It begins to dream about your alluring heartbeat.
Your charming little quirks seem to glow
Like these snow white clouds.
It commences to recall the endless roars of laughter
And the endless, pointless chatter.
The many beautiful years and the
Sad and joyful tears.
It's all coming back;
The beauty and the pain,
The passion and the numerous "I love you"s,
The scared whispers and the tender kisses
Of love and loss.
Sitting here in this place,
A frown makes it way back onto my face
Because you're no longer mine.
