Tonight I am sad, tonight I am lonely. The demons are screaming and I need you to hold me.

I woke up the next day, and realised I was on my couch. And then I remembered, The Evil One was told to take my room until hers was ready.
I groaned and rolled over, glancing at my bed.
The Evil One wasn't in it. I narrowed my eyes and thought of where she could have gone. Before I could come to a conclusion, she walked out of the bathroom wearing a black tank top, and black pants. Her hair was pulled up into a ponytail, and in the back of her tank top had two holes for her wings. Plus she wore combat boots.
"Morning" she smiled at me. I grunted in acknowledgement and got off the couch, "sorry for taking your bed"
"It's fine, your room should be ready today anyways"
"Mr. Ro'Meave, your father would like to speak to you" I nodded to the servant in the doorway.
"I'll be there in ten minutes, at most"
The servant left and I removed my shirt to get a new one. I started to search through my shirts looking for a good one. I caught a glimpse of the Dark Queen and saw she was a lovely shade of red. I rose an eyebrow, she hid her face.
"Is something wrong? Are you sick?"
"N-no..."
"Is it too hot in here?"
"I-it's not that"
"Then why is your face so red?" I asked, walking over to her and examining her face.
"Um...j-just never mind..."
I shrugged and changed my pants, I would occasionally glance at the Dark Queen, and she just looked down at her hands, her face burning red. I shrugged and put on a shirt.
"I'm going to see my father, then I will be back to escort you to your magic training, okay?" I questioned, getting close to her face again, "are you sure you're not sick?"
"P-positive"
I nodded and walked to my father's office. I walked in without knocking, and saw my mother fixing my father's collar.
"Garroth" she smiled and walked over, hugging me.
"Hello, mother" a small chuckle escaped my lips as she tickled my neck with her hair.
"Son"
Mother pulled away and stood next to my father who was now sitting in his chair.
"You called me here?" I asked and sat in the chair adjacent to his desk.
"Yes, you are an assassin, correct?"
"Yes..."
"Part of your job, is to capture things...correct?"
"In a sense, I guess"
"Well I need you to catch something for me"
"Another mission? But, father, I just got back from o-"
"I never said you were leaving anywheres, I need you to capture the heart of the Dark Queen"
"Literally?"
"No! Irene...."
"But why would I have to make her fall for me? She's already on our side"
"It's a precaution, in case she even thinks about betraying us, she won't because she's madly in love, with you"
"What about Vylad or Zane?"
"She trusts you the most, probably, because she's known you the longest"
I can't refuse my father...
"Alright..."
"You are excused"
I walked out and down the hallways to where I left the Dark Queen. I walked into my room, and saw her sitting by the window, taking in the view. I cleared my throat and she jumped and turned.
"Hello"
She smiled
"Hi! Let's go!"
I nodded and escorted her down hallways.
"Oh, I almost forgot, last night I made you a map of the castle" I pulled out a folded piece of paper and handed it to her. She examined it and nodded, placing it in her pocket.
"Thank you"
"Here we are" I sighed as we slowed to a stop outside a door.
"Alright, how is this Vylad guy anyways?"
"He's fine, a little quiet, but fine none-the-less" I shrugged. She nodded and placed a shaky hand on the doorknob. I watched her walk through the door, and felt my nerves go a little crazy at her hesitation. I shook the thoughts off and went to train.
I went into the room and looked up at the window where one of our servants were. I nodded and the man twisted and pushed several buttons and levers.
The room went dark, and several magical dummies were let out. Wooden totems and metal poles rose from the ground, and I fastened my tool belt, a smirk appearing in my face.
Easy.
I stabbed my dagger into the wooden totem and pulled out a second one. I climbed with their assistance and sat at the top. I pulled out some wire, and fastened it to one of the metal poles and made the other side connect to the totem I was on. I took out a bow and arrow, and shot one of the dummies. It turned it's head to me and aimed it's own bow and arrow at me. I quickly zip-lined away from the firing bow and balanced on the metal pole. I threw some throwing blades and took out two dummies, including the one that aimed at me.
I continued to take out the foes, and eventually they were all gone.
I glanced at the second window and saw the Evil One smiling at me. I unconsciously smiled back and yelled for the servant to turn on the lights, and unlock the door.
Seeing the Evil One reminded me of my inevitable fate. I knew I had to make her fall for me, and I knew there was no way for me to get around it. I had to think of something, fast...
A/N I'm starting to run out of things to say in the authors notes....eh, I'll just say I love you all devils, byeee.
