This is from another story I'm writing called Sunshine, I just thought some of you might find this scene kind of funny.

"Hey Parker," Anna greeted when he entered the penthouse; "I'll be ready in just a second, I just gotta get my bag."

"Yeah, no problem," he told, even though she'd already rushed out of the room. He glanced slightly after her before finding himself distracted by Tony entering.

"Peter, you're here," he stated happily.

"Y-yeah, you, you told me to be here, remember?" Peter replied slightly confused.

"Oh, I know, I just wasn't sure you'd listen to me, you have a tendency to, you know... Not," Tony explained casually.

"Oh, my apologies," Peter heard a formal accent say from behind him, turning around to see a tall man with black hair slicked back; "I did not expect there to be... Company."

"There's not," Tony corrected quickly; "This is Peter. Peter, this is Loki."

"Nice to meet you, Mr Loki," Peter said quickly, reaching his hand out for a handshake.

Loki eyes his hand without moving a muscle before returning his attention to the boy's face.

"...Pleasure to make your acquaintance," he eventually decided, sounding unsure of his words.

"Oh, yeah, definitely, I mean, you're, you're Loki," Peter told, letting his hand fall back to his side.

"I am aware of the fact, yes," he told stiffly before turning to Tony; "I am only looking for miss Anna."

"Miss Anna is about to leave," Tony told, crossing his arms above his chest.

"Yeah, we're going to school!" Peter told rather excitedly.

"We?" Loki questioned, raising his eyebrows.

"Yeah, I promised Mr Stark to keep an eye on her and keep her safe," Peter told.

"You?" Questioned Loki, holding back a scoff as he looked at Tony; "He is the only security you have for her?"

"Calm down, Excessive Hair Gel. There's no reason to think she's in immediate danger, and if anything happens, we're ready to move as soon as Peter alerts us," Tony explained with a bored voice.

"And I can definitely protect her," Peter added; "I'm Spiderman."

Loki glanced at him.

"Good. She should be safe then, as long as no villainous being brings a piece of paper and a big cup," he commented, popping the 'p' in cup.
