"Mr. Stark?" Peter yelled as he entered the lab, throwing his bag on the floor by the door.

"Jarvis?" He asked instead.

"Hello, mr Parker," Jarvis greeted; "what can I do?"

"I was just wondering, do you know where Mr Stark is?" He asked politely.

"He's at a meeting, sir. He told me to tell you that he'll be here as soon as he can, but for you to feel free to work on Jax. He says he's added a surprise." Peter couldn't help but smile a little as he blushed and went over to sit by the table that had slowly become his.

He'd been by the Stark Tower every day after school since Mr Stark had invited him in the first time, and it was slowly becoming both natural and a habit to roll over to his desk on the chair to open up the computer that hosted Jax now.

He pressed the space bar to start it, but wrinkled his eyebrows when the screen had no reaction.

He tried pressing the space a few times before getting annoyed.

"Come on, Jax," he complained; "work!"

The silver lining around the screen lit up in the smooth way Peter had gotten used to as the Stark logo appeared on the screen for a split second before letting Peter in.

So that was the surprise, Peter thought happily.

"Welcome, Mr Parker," a male voice greeted.

"What the..." Peters voiced silenced.

"Jax, is that you?" He questioned instead.

"I am Jax. You are Mr Peter Parker, correct?" The voice asked.

"C-correct," Peter stuttered; "where'd you get the voice?"

"I am voiced by an employee of Tony Stark's, Harold Joseph Hogan," Jax unformed.

"That's.. amazing," Peter admitted; "this is amazing!"

It hadn't taken long for Peter to figure out that all Tony had done was add a voice to Jax, who used the replies Peter had already taught him.

Although, programming an AI turned out to be much easier when it had a voice. Peter had tried talking to him for a good hour, both because it was fascinating to see a machine pick up and understand the things he told and explained, even ask questions, as well as he enjoyed it himself.

"Mr Stark, Mr Parker has arrived and is currently in the lowest lab," Jarvis explained. Tony looked up from the newspaper in front of him.

"He's asking as to where you are," Jarvis added. Tony sighed as he flipped a page.

"Tell him I'm in a meeting. Distract him," he muttered, trying to focus on the words before him.

"How shall I do that, sir?"

"I don't know! How do you distract a kid?" Tony asked back.

"It is suggested to give the child a new toy as their excitement for that will distract them from the issue at hand," Jarvis informed.

"Great. Tell him I added a surprise to Jax, then," Tony decided, licking his finger to flip another page. He hadn't read a single word from the page he was on.

"I didn't say you couldn't go see him at all," Pepper's voice sounded from behind. Tony looked up.

"Didn't know you were standing there."

"All I said was, it might seem a little weird that famous playboy, genius and so on Tony Stark invites a kid in to be alone in his private lab for no reason," she repeated herself.

"It's not for no reason," Tony muttered.

"A school assignment won't hold if the newspapers hears about it," Pepper pointed out.

One part leeeeeeft, but thanks to you brilliant people, I'm hardly even ahead in chapters anymore. Therefore, to get a new chapter before friday, I will say 10 votes/comments on this chapter - even though it's short and crappy.

Merry christmas! (Ohhh should I do a christmas thingy?)
