Homework
"Excuse me, mr.. sir... Mr... Mr god Loki, god?" Peter stuttered nervously.
Loki's eyes lazily fell to the young boy, raising his eyebrows as to allow him to continue.
"Do you, do you, Mr god, uh, Mr Loki, do you know a lot about the alien attack?"
"Dear lord," Natasha sighed, letting her head fall in her hands.
"I... Know a reasonable amount," Loki worded it, his eyes narrowing at Peter; "Why?"
"Well, I, I started a new class, and, and, I'm not doing so well in it, mis-mister Loki, sir, it's not really my strongest field," Peter tried explaining.
"Ah. You wont to attempt to take over the earth," Loki realized; "Yes, I will help."
"I, no, no, sir, mister, mister Loki! It's just a psychology class and, well, I have to make a guess as to why you, you know...."
"Tried to take over the world?" Loki finished, making Peter nod.
"Well, to put it simply." Loki looked to his nails before up at Peter again; "I felt like it."
"Well, I mean, yes, but, Mr Loki, why did you feel like it?"
"Well, you know how it is. Nothing good on TV, Thor was nowhere to be found and pranked," Loki explained with a shrug.
"So it's Thor's fault?" Peter asked, nervously sitting down on the edge of the couch - a safe distance away from Loki and his murderous tendencies.
"Well... He surely should not have left me unsupervised," Loki pointed out.
"And, while, while, you know, I am agreeing with you, I'm totally on your side, Mr Loki... I just don't think it's what my teacher is looking for," Peter tried explaining.
"Your teacher will find themselves looking for their head if they do not get to the point," Loki warned, looking directly at Peter.
"I give up," Natasha mumbled, leaving the two alone.
Timeskip named Stony for no reason at all, total coincidence, so randomly picked what even is Stony
"Natasha, I thought you were helping Peter with his homework?" Tony asked as Natasha entered the kitchen, casually tossing an able in the air and catching it.
"What homework? It's not like Peter to need help," Bruce commented, casually sipping his coffee.
"Well, he started a new class this year, I guess it's not as easy to him as... Well, everything else," Natasha explained, pouring herself a mug of coffee; "He's supposed to analyze a psychopath and figure out their reasoning."
"That's why I send him to Romanoff in the first place," Tony commented with his mouth full of cereal - a meal he insisted had no time limit.
"Well, I found someone better qualified," Natasha commented, taking a sip of her new coffee.
"You're telling me there's someone more psychopathic than you in this tower?" Bruce joked.
"What, Clint is back from the farm?" Tony questioned seriously.
"Wha - Clint? That's - he's your, he's your go-to psychopath?" Natasha questioned weirdly.
"What? Who else could it be? Who's helping Peter?"
"Loki."
"LOKI?!"
"What? He's a proper psychopath," Natasha pointed out.
"THAT IS THE PROBLEM, NATASHA! HOW COULD YOU LEAVE THEM ALONE?" Tony asked dramatically; "Oh god, Peter could be getting murdered right now!"
"No, I've been to the gym since, Loki's had like two hours alone with him. If he wanted him dead, he'd already be dead," Natasha pointed out casually before noticing Tony's look; "Which, I'm sure, he is not."
"Oh god," Bruce moaned in frustration.
"I'm just saying, the murder wouldn't be happening right now," Natasha mumbled with a shrug
"FRI, pull up live footage of Peter!" Tony yelled.
"Right away, boss," Friday replied emotionlessly, a video appearing of Loki lying on the couch, his feet on Peter's lap, clearly telling him something.
"Friday, sound," Tony ordered.
"That sounds hard," Peter agreed with Loki through the speakers
"I was only 58 at the time, and I really did my best on the drawing, Peter! But all father said was that 'horses don't have eight legs, Loki'," Loki said before scoffing; "Well, proved him wrong!"
"Please tell me Peter is not talking to Loki about his childhood," Tony murmured.
"What? Peter gets an A and maybe Loki calms down a bit," Natasha argued with a shrug.
"How did you prove him wrong, Mr Loki?" Peter asked curiously.
"Well young Peter, I simply turned myself into a female horse and birthed one myself," Loki explained calmly.
"Maybe we should stop them," Natasha realized slowly.
"I'm not saying this was a good idea, but this is the first time anyone has gotten Loki to open up, and... I kind of wanna hear the story about the horse he's apparently the dad to. Mom to, I mean," Tony corrected himself, glancing at the two others.
"Well... It's not like Peter's in harm's way," Bruce agreed slowly.
"And how often do you get to hear what it's like to be a horse?" Natasha agreed.
