Broken

This one goes to DaKoolestPanda who single-handedly managed to write enough comments to get an extra chapter as well as just being so supportive in general. Once again thank you for reading along Panda!

It was Friday. The day Peter had been dreading. The day of the field trip.

Usually, he'd be at the tower on Fridays anyway. Since May started to do weekend shifts, Peter had begun spending his weekends at the tower, but he definitely didn't want to go there with school. Especially not since he'd be going without Ned, without MJ, without everyone but 14 other students he barely talked to, that including Flash.

"So, Penis, looking forward?" Flash asked as he sat down next to him on the bus, but continued before Peter got a chance to answer; "I mean, I wouldn't be. Everybody's gonna find out you've been lying. That can't be nice."

"Flash, just shut up," Peter sighed, leaning his head against the window.

"I'm just saying," Flash went on; "Having lied about knowing Tony Stark? That's pretty lame."

"I never said I knew Mr Stark, I just said I interned at Stark Industries, Flash," Peter reminded him.

TIME SKIP PROVIDED BY my lazy ass ha ha haaa

"Next on the tour is the labs. We've had one emptied so you guys could get to work on your own robots. We have prepared seven stations, meaning you'll be paired two and two," Rebecca, another intern, explained.

"We need one group to be three, so Peter, if you team up with Flash and Edd," Ms Manon decided.

"Uh, no, each station only has room for two, actually," Rebecca mentioned.

"Well, we're an uneven number, so," Ms Manon mentioned with a small laugh.

"Oh, Peter doesn't count," Rebecca commented, making Flash snicker.

"He designed the robot you'll be attempting to build, so having him in the competition would be kind of cheating," she added with a shrug.

"H-He what?" Ms Manon asked, looking at Peter who felt incredibly small at the moment.

"He designed the entire program, so assembling it would be too easy for him. Plus, I actually need his help really quickly," Rebecca admitted as she pulled Peter with her; "If you could all just get seated."

"What's up, Becca?" Peter asked kindly as he looked at the screen she pulled up before them.

"Nothing is. Seriously, I can't get Dummy to stand, I think I broke him and Mr Stark is going to kill me," she hissed pointing at poor Dummy who stood leaned back.

"Maybe he's tired," Peter suggested jokingly, making Rebecca shoot him evil eyes.

"Fine, fine, I'll look at it," he agreed with a small laugh.

"Thank you, you're a hero!" she claimed.

You have no idea...

"I'm gonna go get your class started. The quicker I do that, the quicker they leave," she mentioned, making Peter smirk.

"So," Rebecca said as she walked back to the class; "We're gonna make it a small competition, the first to finish..."

As Peter zoned out he began looking over the coding. Rebecca was one of the highest interns, except, of course, for himself, which was the only reason Tony let her work with Dummy.

"Hey kid," A voice said besides Peter. He looked to and sighed.

"Mr Stark! What are you doing here?" Peter hissed angrily, glancing at his class who'd luckily not noticed him yet.

"Whaaat, I was worried. You usually come straight to the penthouse when you get here, Friday said you'd been walking around here for, like, an hour," he explained and glanced at the screen; "Wait, is that Dummy?"

"I'm on a field trip," Peter quickly distracted him, making sure Rebecca wouldn't get in trouble.

"Ah. Do you know when it's done? Will you just be straight up? We need to sort something for dinner," Tony pointed out. Peter sighed.

"Can't we just order a pizza?" he complained; "Cooking is hard."

"Yes. That's why you're gonna cook," Tony said with a smirk.

"You're mean," Peter commented as he corrected the coding; "Get out before my class notices you."

"Kicking me out of my own lab now?" Tony laughed; "You sure are a lot more confident than when I met you. Also, I think it might be too late," he added, nodding towards Peter's classmates. Peter slowly turned around, facing his entire class staring at him.

"Oh-uh," he mumbled.

"Good luck explaining that one, kid," Tony laughed, ruffling Peter's hair before leaving.

"Y-You - You know - TONY STARK!" Flash exclaimed.

"I do," Peter finally admitted with a proud smile.

Also, I just realised I should probably inform you that yes, I am aware there are more mistakes than countable, and I will be correcting them sooner or later (knowing my lazy ass as well as my busy schedule it'll be later), but please be patient as I am writing in a second language and use writing as an opportunity to get better.
