Veronica laughed loudly, the fumes of cigarette smoke filling the small bar. The group had decided to get a change of venue this time and instead of a party, they wanted it to be more personal. It wouldn't be more personal.

Veronica day herself down on Luke's lap for the second time that week and he wrapped his arms around her happily. They had talked a lot more and Veronica was just waiting for him to break up with his girlfriend so that she wouldn't feel so bad for hooking up with him.

She shifted in his lap and pressed her lips softly to his. They were both silently observing their friends as they were talking across the bar.

"I bet you one-hundred dollars that Michael ends up taking both of those girls home," Luke said, pointing to the boy that was now standing at the bar.

He had his arms around two separate girls and the two were leaning into him. He'd occasionally lean down and whisper something into their ears.

"So glad I jumped out of that when I got the chance," Veronica commented.

"What do you mean?" Luke asked. If this girl was about to insult his best friend then he was going to push her off and leave. He didn't like when people talked bad about his band mates, especially Michael.

"I mean, I'm the only girl you're cheating on your girlfriend with so that means I get attention and get fingered. Do you know how annoying threesomes are when you're left in the cold while your partner is pleasuring someone else? I wouldn't be able to deal with that," Veronica said. She spoke softly and felt a bit vulnerable over what she had said. She didn't think she'd like Luke and saw him as a hookup but he could actually be nice and funny and she may have started to like him.

"I guess so. I wouldn't know honestly. I've never been in a threesome and I've never been fingered."

And there was the humor Veronica had been thinking about. He always was so calm with his jokes and Veronica found it endearing. Of course, she'd never act on her actions. She knew that that wasn't the point. She had a job to do and she wouldn't be able to live if she didn't do it.

"Who knows? Maybe we can test it out? See if you like being the bottom," Veronica joked and Luke laughed loudly.

"I'll have to hold you up on that offer," Luke teased. Both of their laughs echoed in the small booth they were in. Veronica also liked Luke's smile.

The two watched as Michael made his way over with the two girls and grabbed his wallet off of the table.

"I'll be going to uh..." He trailed off, looking towards one of the girls.

"Brandy!" She said smiling widely.

"Brandy's house!" Michael then added, feeling a bit dumb that he couldn't remember his hookup's name.

Veronica subtly rolled her eyes but then laughed softly at the boy. The two watched as Michael walked away and they were left alone again.

"I can't believe he just left," Veronica said laughing.

"He told us where he's going at least, it's happened before where he didn't tell us and we were left freaking out," Luke explained.

"Where's Ashton and Calum though?" Veronica said. Luke seemed so concerned over Michael but he didn't even know where his two other band mates were.

Luke craned his neck up slowly and saw Ashton dancing in the corned with a girl. He then continued his search and spotted Calum outside of the bar, cigarette in one hand and his cell phone in the other.

"He's most likely calling his girlfriend," Luke said, "He's so in love. It's cute. They've dated for almost a year and he cares about her so much. He's never pressured her into anything. She's so innocent and small. Her name's Amity and she's such a sweetheart. I think I've heard her say a bad word once and it was towards my girlfriend," Luke said, a smile gracing his lips as he thought about his friend.

"That's cute. Kind of my goals. But I like sex too much to slow down," Veronica commented. Luke laughed in agreement and the two stayed on each other's arms.

"Do you want to go back to my hotel room tonight?" Veronica then added. She wanted some type of reaction and had been wanting to ask Luke since they had met up.

"Depends, are we going to try the fingering thing?"

"If you're sticking your fingers in me, yes. If I'm sticking my fingers in you, no."

"Oh thank god. I thought you were going to be in some pretty kinky stuff and I was trying to not over think it," Luke said.

Veronica laughed and grabbed Luke's hand, pulling him out of the booth. They grabbed the few things they had and made their way out of the bar. Luke told Calum, who was at the doorway, where they were going and Calum just shook them off. He had his phone pressed to his ear and Luke knew not to annoy him. 

"Since I'm going to your hotel, does this mean I can finally stay the night?" Luke asked.

"I assume so."
