The alarm blared throughout the building. 

"Moon. Code red!" I yelled to her across the room. 

Moon nodded, signaling Clay to carry Qibli to somewhere safe. 

Winter ran into the room.

"Everyone, get to the armory." he said before leaving the room. 

I saw Moon wave goodbye to Qibli as we followed Winter out of the room. 

When we arrived at the armory, Kinkajou, Glory, and Tsunami stood ready. 

"Where is Sunny and Starflight?" I asked. 

"They are at the logistics center." Glory answered.

"Why are there so many rooms you never showed us on the tour?" 

"No time to explain." 

"-*-"

First Prospective - Turtle's PoV

We all stood in the front of the city gates, not knowing who or what was approaching. 

"Alright. I have a gameplan." I said.

"I usually make the plans, but let's see what you have." Tsunami replied.

"When we see the creature or supervillain, I need Moon to use her super intelligence to analyze and tell me if I need to temporarily enchant something. Winter should use his frostbreath to freeze vital points of the enemy. Glory and Tsunami go on the melee." I suggested.

"It would work." Moon said, continuing. "What weapons did you guys get from the armory?" 

"I brought a crossbow." I said.

"A double-edged sword." Tsunami replied. 

"Me and Kinkajou can use our natural weapons." Glory replied as Kinkajou said, "I don't need one." 

"Alright, I brought this laser gun thing that Qibli brought here." Moon said. 

We all stared at her wide eyed.

"That's a bit advanced." Winter said. 

I wonder why she is so wrapped around Qibli's wellbeing.

"Hey Moon, how come the weapon you are using comes specifically from him?" Winter asked skeptically. Of course, most everybody knew that he had a secret crush on her.

"Oh... well I thought that even though he's injured, we might as well give him a spot." she replied.

Winter furrowed his brows. "And why is that?" 

Moon pondered over that, unsure of what to reply with. She was saved when a loud roar came from the front of them.

I looked over and saw a giant rotating beast with huge fangs. It gave off the whole "Angelus gone bad" vibe. It had a huge eye in the middle, which I instantly took as it's vulnerable spot. 

"Everyone, prepare for combat!" Glory shouted. 

"Winter, go for the joints that allow it to rotate. Turtle, I need some speed." Moon ordered. 

Enchant Moon to have unnatural speed until said to stop.

Winter was already running forward, holding back his frostbreath. And within seconds, Moon darted straight at the monster, gun pointed. 

"Glory, Tsunami, I think it's a good idea to run around from the back and surprise attack it." I suggested.

"Had the same idea." Tsunami stated with a little more harshness than Turtle liked. 

I looked back to the situation and saw the creature struggling against Winter as its rotating fangs slowed down to the frostbreath. I also saw Moon crouched on her knees, telling me to cancel the speed boost I gave her. 

The creature seemingly won the skirmish between it and Winter, throwing him backwards. 

Then, Moon shot the laser gun, aiming at its eyes.

Direct hit. 

The creature stumbled backwards, clearly irritated and blinded by the beam. 

Moon yelled, "Now's your chance!"

Glory and Tsunami started throwing themselves up onto the giant's body, and Tsunami pulled out her blade and stabbed the creature straight through the eye. Now clearly dead, it collapsed backwards and fell onto the soft grass. 

"-*-" 

I was sitting on Qibli's bed, none of the others were there. Moon went to the training area, Winter is God knows where, and Kinkajou is probably in her room writing in the ship journal she showed me yesterday.  

Qibli was asleep, the doctors said it should be a couple days before he becomes fully functional again. 

"Hey." I blurted, clearing the unconscious silence. 

Qibli didn't wake up. 

I tapped him on the shoulder. He didn't budge.

I decided to test Kinkajou's theory about Qibli having feelings for Moon. So, I walked up to the front of the bed, and whispered in his ear, "Moonwatcher." 

Qibli shot up. "What? Where?"

Then, he saw me. "Come on Turtle, did you really HAVE to do me like that?" 

"You're so gullible." I joked. 

I heard footsteps and looked at the door. That's when I saw Kinkajou and Moon, both walking in with ice cream. 

Before I questioned, I heard a whisper in my ear.

"Kinkajou." Qibli whispered.

I tried ignoring it (keyword: tried), so I asked Moon and Kinkajou what they were doing with ice cream.

"Kinkajou saw an ice cream shop and nearly threw me out of the building wanting it so much." Moon answered. 

"I think you just summed up Kinajou's entire personality in one sentence." Qibli joked.

"Basically." I said.
