Junior year is gradually approaching for the teenagers in beacon hills. With this new year comes a different chapter in their lives, for a certain petite brunette not all of it is good. For one Charlie Drake has officially moved back LA and has reluctantly left her in Beacon Hills, although that was more Imelda's decision then his. Jackson Whittermore has also gone his own way and traveled to London where his parents believe him to be safer then in the supernatural town.

Then there's the fact that Derek Hale no longer fits in her love life, the alpha having let her go months before. He claimed she needed a more stable life and with him she would receive nothing but loss.

And finally there comes the confusion between her and the beta know as Scott McCall, after both had experienced whirlwind romances that had ended abruptly they were left to reminisce with one another. This quickly leading to an accidental kiss, or was it? Was their always something between the fiery brunette and puppy eyed boy that neither had ever noticed up until that very moment.

These were the questions that plagued Imelda Drake as she packed her bags and fled with her best friend Lydia Martin, seeking refuge for 3 months with Charlie.

Now she's back in Beacon Hills though; ready to start a new school year and face the said beta, Allison Argent (Scott McCalls ex girlfriend and coincidentally one of her best friends,) the sarcastic spaz of a best friend known as Stiles Stilinsk, and then the genius strawberry blonde known as Lydia Martin. She also knew that eventually Derek Hale would show up, and that would lead to even stranger encounters.

But if she thought that her only trouble would be dodging feelings and people then she was sorely mistaken.

A pack of alphas and dark Druid know as the Darach would soon become her target.

The Darach because it knew a Dea one weakness.

And the alpha pack because the leader would be after her power.

There had always been a set of rules in place for the rarity that came with being a Dea but now it seemed that those rules were even more flexible
then once thought. Enough so that she would become a target for one particular alpha.
