Namjoon, Yoongi, and Taehyung were welcomed into Jimin and Jungkook's small house where they would be staying for the night. After a quick check at the house, all agreed where they would be sleeping.

Jimin and Jungkook were sleeping in the living room, after refusing to take their own rooms, Yoongi and Namjoon were taking the main bedroom, and Taehyung was going to sleep in the guest room.

It seemed like Taehyung and Jungkook were fast friends, just like back then. They talked away, getting to know each other.

Yoongi and Namjoon sat at the kitchen table, watching the two youngest chat and laugh with each other.

"They're really like little kids, aren't they?" Yoongi smirked.

"Well, I wouldn't say just like little kids." Namjoon shrugged and turned to his friend. "I'm glad they're getting along, though."

Jimin walked out of the kitchen while he held two bowls with black bean noodles in his hands. "I just think Jungkook's happy to finally have someone else to talk to like that." He served the bowls to Yoongi and Namjoon and bowed to them.

"Thanks." Namjoon smiled as he took the bowl. "Aren't you eating too?" He asked before eating.

Jimin sat down in front of them. "No, I ate a while ago. I hope you'll take it as an apology for shoving you guys into a wall."

Yoongi waved his hands in dismissal. "I've had worse done to me. We don't blame you, anyways. We know we came out of nowhere at Jungkook." He shoved some noodles into his mouth and slurped them up.

Jimin sighed in relief. He ran his hands through his hair, "I'm glad you came to his rescue. I probably wouldn't have been able to get to him."

"We did find him getting beat up by those guys. We found him just in time. How long have you two been roommates?" Namjoon asked.

"As long as we've been out of that lab." Jimin chuckled. "I thought he was the only one that survived that explosion besides me. I thought the rest of you died and that's why I couldn't find you. He told me his parents were killed when he was first kidnapped, so he really had nowhere else to go."

Both Yoongi and Namjoon's expressions changed when Jimin mentioned that. They both stopped eating.

"Yeah, I was pretty surprised too." Jimin folded his hands in his lap and looked down. "I took him with me to look for my parents. We found them sooner or later, and they took him in like another son. I moved out a few months ago since I just turned 18." He added, "Jungkook couldn't bear to stay without me so he moved in with me here. Luckily, he can still go to school since I didn't move far."

Namjoon looked over to see Jungkook and Taehyung scrolling through their cell phones and giggling. "Well, he seems like he's been raised well, despite having his parents taken away from him."

Yoongi's eyes stared down, "Another horrible thing those people did to us."

Namjoon noticed Yoongi's resentful frown and twisted his mouth. He looked at Jimin and said, "Sorry you had to go through that."

Jimin shrugged. "It's okay. It was out of all our controls. We were just kids." He looked up. "How did you guys adjust to life after the incident? Was it much different?"

"Kind of." Namjoon said. "My family accepted me into the family, though they were a bit freaked out by the thought of their son having enhanced mental abilities. I kind of hid my powers. And I never revealed myself to anyone."

Jimin nodded. "What about you, Yoongi-hyung?"

Yoongi looked up and bit his lip. "I don't really like to talk about that." He stirred his noodles around.

"Right. Sorry for prying."

"It's okay." Yoongi then looked up in thought and questioned. "You have a weird tattoo on your shoulder, right?" He was curious since he never figured out the meaning of the random letters and numbers on his own body.

Jimin perked up at this and slowly nodded. "Yes, I do." He took off his grey sweatshirt and lifted the short sleeve on his right shoulder. On his shoulder was the combination; B051.

Yoongi examined it. "So I'm assuming all the kids in that lab were branded with a similar tattoo." He put his hand on his own shoulder and looked down.

"Mine doesn't have a B, though." Namjoon pointed out as he zipped down his jacket and lifted his t-shirt sleeve, showing his own tattoo with a different combination.

C192

Yoongi furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. "Mine doesn't either."

"Jungkook, come here for a second." Jimin called over to the living room.

Jungkook stood up along with Taehyung. He walked up to the table. "What's up?" He asked.

"What letter does your tattoo have?"

"Tattoo? Oh, this?" He pointed to his right shoulder to which Jimin nodded.

Jungkook picked up his sleeve and showed the tattoo on his shoulder; A262.

"Do you know what these things mean?" Namjoon asked.

Jimin shook his head. "Maybe it differentiates our blood types?" He inquired.

"But ours have Cs. There isn't a blood type C." Yoongi said.

Taehyung looked back and forth as he thought. He suddenly thought of something and gasped. "What's your birth year, Jimin?"

"95. Why?" Jimin asked in confusion.

"Hyungs," Taehyung looked in their direction. "You were born between 93 and 94, right?"

The two nodded slowly.

"What does that have to do with…?" Namjoon asked.

Taehyung pointed at himself then to the others. "Maybe those numbers have to do with our basic information. We were split into groups, right? The letter in these tattoos must be part of which group they put us in. They must've put us according to age, if I'm right."

Jungkook's eyes widened in realization as he began to understand where Taehyung was going. "So the letters mean our group or age group."

Taehyung nodded. "Exactly." He pointed to Jungkook. "You were born in '97 right?"

The youngest male gave a quick nod.

"Group A. I was born in '95 too, Jimin. Both our tattoos have the B at first. Group B. And Namjoon-hyung and Yoongi-hyung were born between '93 and '94, and their tattoos both have a C. Group C. They kept us grouped by age. It must've been some way of keeping us organized."

"That makes sense, actually." Jimin admitted.

Namjoon agreed, "It does. Good thinking, Taehyung."

Taehyung grinned at his friend's approval.

Jungkook then inquired. "This all makes sense, but why? I mean, why kidnap multiple kids and experiment on them to give them super powers? And this was all approved by the government?" He looked at Jimin in confusion.

Everyone fell silent, making it clear that no one knew the exact answer to that. Yoongi had tried thinking of a logical explanation before, but he never came to a definite conclusion.

Jimin clicked his tongue and stood up. He didn't want to dwell on those thoughts much longer. "Anyways," he sighed. "I'm going to go pack a little more. Do you guys mind?"

Namjoon shook his head. "Go ahead. We have to leave early anyways."

Jimin nodded. "Alright. Jungkook, you packed your clothes, right?" He put his hand on Jungkook's shoulder.

Jungkook responded. "Yeah. Just don't take anything out of my bag, please."

"As long as you didn't put too much in there." Jimin chuckled and stepped away into his bedroom.

Jungkook turned back to Taehyung. "Want to play some more games?"

Taehyung nodded excitedly. "Sure." And with that, the two went into the living room, leaving Yoongi and Namjoon alone in peace.

Namjoon chuckled as he saw the two leave. "Well, they already seem to be getting used to us. Maybe this wasn't such a bad idea."

Yoongi yawned and pushed his empty bowl to the side. "Yeah, I'll give you this one. I just don't wanna go on a wild goose chase trying to find the next one. Uh, what's his name?"

"Jung Hoseok?" Namjoon asked.

"Yeah," Yoongi straightened up in his chair. "That guy." He paused and frowned. "Hoseok?"

Namjoon nodded. "That's the name Taehyung got."

Yoongi furrowed his eyebrows. For some reason, that nickname was really familiar. He could hardly remember anyone else who was at the lab, but he could recognize that name almost immediately. "Hm." He shook off the thought and cleared his throat.

"I've gotta figure out a good plan to talk to him. You know, we don't wanna scare him right off the bat." Namjoon put his hand on his chin.

Yoongi stood up. "Well, I'm sure you'll figure out something. I'm going to bed now. I'm too tired to keep thinking."

"Alright, sounds good. I'll try not to be up too late."

"Good. We need you well rested and energized." Yoongi grinned at him and patted his shoulder before walking away.

Namjoon smiled back and sighed as he was left alone with his thoughts. Next destination: Gwangju.
