[Armen, Collin] Drabble - It hurts, it really does..
It was a rainy night, and two brothers were out in the woods. They were arguing again, sadly it was a normal thing for the two.
"God, why is it so hard to talk to you?!" Collin growls, hands tugging at his head.
Armen scoffs, a mocking smile on his face. "Oh, please! I'M hard to talk to?" He walks closer to Collin, who took a step back.
"I'm not the one who gave his soul to the devil, I'm not the one who left his younger brother and his friends to fix his fucking messes. I'm not the one who screwed everything up!" The smaller's voice grew louder until he was yelling, each other punctuated by a jab at Collin's chest.
"I did everything I had in the past for you! I sacrificed so, so much because I love you Armen!!" The older one yeller back, eyes threatening to spill.
This stopped Armen from him poking harshly.
"I cared about you, you were the only one I had. Why can't you understand that?!"
Collin noticed his younger brother shaking vigoriously, looking down at his shoes.
"..Why don't I understand? That's what you want to know?" He whipped his head back up, tears falling from his eyes.
"Because if you really did all of that for me, why did you make me suffer so much?"
He shoved Collin backwards with immense force. Thankfully, the older sibling caught onto a nearby tree, steadying himself. He looked at his brother, whose eyes were fuled with fury.
"I-I-"
"DO I HAVE TO REPEAT MYSELF? YOU LEFT YOUR MESS TO ME. WHERE WHERE YOU, COLLIN?"
"I WAS TRAPPED, ARMEN. TRAPPED IN MY OWN MIND, IN AN ABYSS OF SPACE." Collin answered angrily, tears finally spilling.
"THAT'S NOT A FUCKING EXCUSE." Armen yells. "WHEN I WAS TRAPPED, AT LEAST I TRIED TO REACH OUT TO DRAKE. YOU, YOU JUST STAYED THERE, STUCK. DID YOU EVEN TRY AT ALL?!!"
The older sibling would've answered, if he knew.
Why did he only wait for someone to save him?
Soon tears were spilling from both brothers' eyes.
"DO YOU KNOW HOW FUCKED UP I AM, COLLIN?! DO YOU KNOW THAT EVERYTHING YOU DID FOR ME DESTROYED ME?!"
When only silence followed his question, Armen huffed. He turned swiftly, stomping away.
"You know, for all it's worth, I wish you would just disappear again. It's not like you being here now made a difference in me."
Those words hit him, they hit Collin hard. His legs gave way, and the poor boy slumped down on the tree, tears dripping one by one. Quiet, watery gasps were soon followed by loud, broken sobbings. Armen didn't even look back. He just kept on walking, leaving Collin in the rain.
Oh, how it hurt.
It hurt knowing the only person you loved hated you more than you hated yourself.
