Dear Reader who Experiences ASMR:

I would like to help you experiences tingles through the written word. But it is very helpful to me, as well as informative, to hear from you regarding what type of writings might give you tingles. Specifically, has anything you have read in the past given you tingles? Please comment and describe it as completely as possible, so that I might be able to replicate something similar.

Here are a few ideas/examples that others have listed to jog your memory. Don't be afraid to say the same thing - that will help me get an idea of how popular a certain type is.

Descriptions of spa treatments/spa menus at hotels

Descriptions of something nice in novels

- Instructions on something unfamiliar, for example instructions on a hair dye product.

Surveys.

 - Being contacted/picked by a random person, for example a stranger instant messaging you to ask you to proofread his short story

Relational psychology test

- Other questionnaires/instructions/etc. that sounds magical/unreal, when the person giving it seems to really believe it. (I'd love to get some specific examples, besides the relationship psychology test listed above)

- Things written by ESL authors (I'd love to get some specific examples if anyone has them)

 - Advice/instructions, especially in a format like Yahoo Answers where people's grammar and punctuation may be really off but there is 100% sincerity (example: recipes/instructions on how to cook something)

Also, please comment if ready any of the above gave you any tingles, and say what it was! I plan to start posting again here and this will help direct what I do in the future.
