"I can't believe it's been a month" Chuck says walking beside me. "Does that mean another boy is going to be coming up?"

"Yeah or a girl" I say. "But probably a boy"

"When will they be here?" Chuck asks.

"Around lunch" I answer.

"I can't wait that long!" Chuck yelps.

I smile. "I'm sure you can"

Chuck looks me dead in the eyes. "Then you don't know me."

"Really?" I ask laughing then stop mid-laugh. "I really don't!"

"Told you!" He grins.

"Then tell me about yourself" I say.

"My favorite color is dark blue.. I really like Fry's bacon"

"Who doesn't?" I ask. "Oh! I have a story!"

"What is it?"

"It was my first day in the Glade and I ate a slice of Fry's bacon and I got my name back."

"Really??" Chuck asks. "That's so cool!"

"It is" I smile.

"What is that??" Chuck asks yelling over the noise.

"The Greenie alarm!" I call back.

"He's coming?!?" Chuck asks grinning.

"Yeah!" I call back.

Chuck runs forward towards the box.

"Chuck wait!" I call rushing after him. Thankfully the Gladers don't let him through so I'm able to pull him back. "Why don't we wait with Newt?"

"Why?" Chuck asks.

"I don't want the Greenie staring at me" I mumble.

"Ok" Chuck and I walk over to where Newt is waiting.

When Newt sees us coming over his face changes from happy to shocked to what might be annoyed then back to his usual happyish face. "Hi Vivian, Chuck"

"Hi Newt!" Chuck grins.

"Hi Newt" I smile. "Don't you have to be over with the new Greenie?"

"Only later" Newt tells me.

"Oh ok"

We hear a bunch of yells so we turn to see the Greenie running off towards the maze. Then he faceplants. Great first impression.

"I guess we have to go over there" I say.

"Yup" Newt says taking the lead. The three of us head over to where the new Greenie is.

"

Ah" Alby says from beside the Greenie. "Green bean meet Newt he's the second in command. He's in charge when I'm not around."

"Good thing your always then ay?" Newt says to Alby then turns to the Greenie." That was some dash you made earlier. For a second, I thought you had the chops to be a runner.... Till you face-planted."

"Wait a runner?" The Greenie asks then spots me. "Wait a girl?"

"That's Vivian. Our one and only she-bean."

I'm standing there for a bit then realize I have to speak. "Yeah. I'm Vivian."

"Nice to meet you" he says with a confused look on his face.

"Anyway we have the three rules:
First do your part we don't have time for free loaders.
Second never harm another Glader. This doesn't work if we don't have trust.
Most importantly never go beyond the walls." Alby says.

"Wait why didn't I get these rules?" I ask.

"Dunno. Well now you know them" Alby says. "I have to go now. Vi and Newt can you take Green bean?"

"Yeah" Newt agrees.

"What about me?" Chuck asks.

"You to Chuck" Alby says before running away.

The four of us start to walk away. Newt and The Greenie deap in a conversation. I keep out until now.

"In Albys words if you ain't scared you ain't human" Newt says.

"Well maybe I'm a unicorn" I say flipping my hair dramatically.

Chuck starts to laugh while Newt is smiling.

"Yo Vi!" Fry yells. We look over. "We need you!"

"Bye guys." I walk off to the kitchen.

"We're getting ready for the bonfire" Fry says.

"Ok!"

"So it's a maze?" The Greenie asks for the millionth time.

"Yes it's a maze!" I say exasperated and very done. I look over to the kitchen where Vivian, Fry and Ian are. Vivian is by the juice container handing out juice.

The Greenie follows my gaze. "She your girlfriend?"

"What no!" I yelp.

"Oh." The Greenie slightly turns pink. I'm pretty sure I'm doing the same.

"What makes you think that?" I ask.

"The way you stares at her. The way she stares at you... I don't know I just assumed." He pauses. "Is she pregnant?"

"Yeah she is." I say looking back at the Greenie.

"Who's the father?" He asks.

I pause. "We don't actually know..."

"WHAT?!" The Greenie yelps. "How do you not know?"

Vivian looks over at us. She gives me a smile then goes back to her work.

"She came out of the box pregnant. She has no memorys just like us." I say aggravated. Well she does have those dreams she thinks are memories...

"Oh. That makes a lot of sense."

"Yeah it does." I mumble. "Come on lets go get some drinks."

"Hey!" Vi smiles. Her smile is beautiful.

"Can we get two of Gallys concoctions?"

"Yeah" Vivian hands each of us a drink.

"Thanks Love" I say.

"Love?" The Greenie asks looking at me like I'm crazy.

"Yeah. Love. I call her that. I call almost everyone that."

"Ok" he puts his free hand in the air.

"Take a sip. Puts some hair on your chest."

The Greenie takes a sip and..
Spits it all out. I start to laugh.

I look over and see Vivian laughing as well. We lock eyes for a moment and continue to laugh.

"Oh my gosh what is that?" The Greenie asks.

"I don't even know. It's Gallys recipe. Trade secret."

"Gally... Which ones Gally?"

"The one with a eyebrows." I say.

"Ohh! Gally!"

"Yeah. Hey you should try the fight ring"

"Maybe. You know what sure." He gets up and joins the ring at the same time I go and visit Vivian.

"Gosh the Greenies getting on my nerves." I mumble.

"I'm sure he's ok. Just curious." She mumbles.

"You good?" I ask her.

"He's the boy from my memories." She says. "The one who told me it was time to go."

I have soany questions but I'm able to say is. "What?"

We look over to the ring to see the greenie on the ground. He gets up and yells. "THOMAS! MY NAMES THOMAS!"

"Thomas" Vivian breaths.
