Chapter 31: Illusions

- the next day-

-It's been a week and a half since Izuku was taken-

------TRIGGER WARNING------

3rd POV

The white haired boy sat, hunched over in his chair, his arms tied behind his back. Blood trickled from his mouth as he breathed slowly. He closed his eyes tight as he felt a needle slide into his neck. A familiar feeling washed over him. This dose must be stronger, I already feel it. He thought to himself. He groaned in pain as his head began to throb. He looked at his knees to see a hand on them. He looked up slowly.

"Z-zawa?" He began to cry. He was saved. "I-i'm so happy you're here." As he looked into his fathers eyes, the figure began to fade, melting into a puddle of red at his feet. "Wh-wh-he wasn't real." Tears grew at the corners of his eyes as a laugh filled the room.

"You are pretty dumb, aren't you Number seven?" Shigiraki stood where Izuku had just seen his father. The blue haired man punched him in the eye. The smaller boy let his head fall. "They aren't coming for you." Izuku was starting to believe the man. "Why would they save someone who got their classmate killed?" Izuku felt his heart brake. Looking up to see the familiar phantom of Bakugo that haunted him.

"It's all your fault, Deku." Bakugo spoke. Izuku's eyes widened at his words.

"N-no. I didn't m-mean to!" He yelled, looking towards an empty corner in the room. Shigiraki laughed again.

"Look at me, brat!" He plunged a knife into the boys thigh.

"HNNgg-GGG." He tried to suppress his screams. Shigiraki didn't seem happy about that and decided to take it a step further. He came back holding a pain of plyers. Crouching down, he swiftly ripped out one of Izuku's toenails, causing him to scream and squirm at the new kind of pain. This is the reaction that the man was looking for. The nail began to grow back, throwing Izuku into even more pain than before. Black spots grew in his vision. He saw the outlines of his classmates standing in the room watching him.

"Are you guys here for me?" He said slurred. Another nail was ripped from his foot. "AaAAAHHH-hhh!!" His voice cracked.

"You just don't learn." He threw the plyers to the side, grabbing gardening shears to replace them. Izuku curled his toes in.

"Please. Don't" His voice was hoarse from the constant screaming. Shigiraki bent down. "N-no. Please!"

"Do not. Resist." A sickening crunch echoed in the room. Izuku's screams could be heard down the hall. The lights in the room flickered slightly. Izuku watched in agony as his big toe grew back. The unsettling sight and pain making him laugh madly, shaking in his chair.

"Tch. Serves you right rat." Shigiraki kicked the small boy, knocking him from his laughter.

The night continued like this. Nails being pulled. Fingers and toes being snapped off. The pain of re-growing the limbs. Izuku felt his sanity slipping from him bit by bit.

-at UA-

"We have pinned down a possible location of the League hideout." Nezu stated. The creature looked tired from the nights investigation. His words spurred excited conversation. "The footage from last night was very telling of the structure they are in."

"Well let's go damnit!" Bakugo yelled, standing up out of his chair.

"We can't yet." Aizawa said plainly.

"Why the hell not!"

"Because it's still a possible location. We need evidence."

"That is correct." Said Nezu. "We currently have Pro's scouring the area undercover. They are reporting on anything suspicious. If all goes according to plan, we can move in by morning."

There was a pause in the room. "We have already began to assemble a team. All Might, Aizawa, Midnight, and Fat Gum will be apart of the extraction team. Best Jeanist, Kamui Woods, and Mnt. Lady will be stationed outside guarding the exits and capturing anyone trying to escape." Nezu took a deep breath in. "For safety reasons, we will only be taking five students."

His words were met with a surprising silence. Aizawa stood up.

"I will be picking the students. Todoroki, Kaminari, Ururaka, Kirishima, and Bakugo." The class knew this was something that wasn't up for discussion. Aizawa was trying to get his son back. He wasn't messing around with his choices.

"Tomorrow."
