Chapter 29: Gone
-----TRIGGER WARNING-----
Izuku POV
I hit the floor with a thud. All of my emotions poured over and I laid there sobbing into the hardwood floor. Kacchan. He killed Kacchan. I couldn't save him! I was useless and now he is dead because of me! I should have never gotten close to him. I can't let anyone get close. I-
"Quit your muttering." A familiar voice rang in my ears. I felt someone grab the back of my shirt and pull me up, swiftly shoving me against the wall. I found myself looking into Shigiraki's disgusting muddled eyes. I found myself in a bar. Toga, the magician, Kurogiri, the muscle guy, and some dude in a black body suit. The bag door of the bar opened revealining the lizard guy I ran into before. He was holding a small bag. He set it down and pulled out something metal. I panicked thinking it was a new collar and without thinking, I flung my knee into Shigiraki's chest and ran to the door. The musclular guy stood infront of the door. Without hesitation, I jumped on the wall beside him and bounced back towards him. I gave him a hard punch using the momentum I had built, quickly wrapping my chains around his neck as I fell to the ground, pulling him down.
I heard furious screams behind me as I kicked open the door to the outside. I sprinted forward, only to be encompassed in purple, falling back onto the hardwood floor. I coughed, crouched on the floor. Blood spattered the floor beneath me, none of them cared though.
I looked up to find a very annoyed Shigiraki. "Well Number seven, those heroes seem to have taught you a few new tricks, huh?" I stayed silent, angrily staring at him. He paused, scratching at his neck as he thought. He stopped and smiled at me. "Grab him." Suddenly a pair of gloved hands grabbed me from behind, pulling my arms uncomfortably behind me.
"Son of a bitch! Let me go!" I kicked in the air, trying to free myself. I was beginning to get scared of what would happen to me. I know that Crusty is supremely pissed off from what I've done. I felt myself thrown into a metal chair. My head flew back, the back of my head hitting the sharp corner. I groaned in pain as my vision blurred.
I more cuffs attach to my ankles, securing me to the chair. I felt a strong leather strap tighten around my chest and neck. My vision cleared and I saw the lizard guy and Shigiraki planning something over at the bar. After a few minutes they approached me. I glared at them.
Shigiraki smiled. "You know Seven, since the heroes just think they can take what's mine..." He walked up to me, grabbing my chin and lifting my face to his. "We had to make it a little more clear who you belong to." He said softly. His words sent shivers down my spine. I stayed silent. "What? Cat got your t-" I spit in his face to shut him up, internally snickering at his reaction.
"You worthless bitch!" He angrily wiped his face off. "Do it now." As he finished, a buzzing sound came from behind me. I struggled against the straps, panicking at the sound. I felt a could metal touch the right side of my head. There was no pain. My terror turned into confusion as I saw white tufts of hair fall onto my shoulder. The buzzing stopped and I could feel that the right side of my head had been shaved.
"W-w-what is going on-n?" I looked for answers among the few who were watching. They all stayed silent, watching the show. Toga had a smile stretch across her face. As she smiled, a new high pitched buzzing filled the room. A tattoo gun. My eyes grew wide and I stared to push harder against the strap, they started cutting into my skin. "No no! Please! D-don't!" I yelled. Suddenly, cold hands grabbed the side of my head to hold me still.
A sharp piercing pain ran through my body. I felt the pounding of the needles on my skull. The pain was immense. My ears started to ring and dots filled my vision once more. The only thing I could hear was the buzzing beside me. Then it all went black.

Aizawa POV
Police flooded the scene. Some of my students were rushed to hospitals from their injuries. Bakugo, Shoji, Todoroki, and Tokoyami were all instructed to recount the events of the night. I gave them the information I had and sat on the steps, my head between my legs. What am I going to tell Zashi? Where is Izuku? Why does he have to be put through this again? I just want him to be safe. He deserves happiness. He was finally happy! Those bastards!
The next few days passed in a blur. They were filled with police reports and hospital visits. I began to sleep less, only focused on getting Izuku back.
Classes were cancelled for the week and students were instructed not to leave the dorms unless accompanied by a Pro. My class didn't seem to be handling Izuku's kidnapping very well. A lot of them stopped eating and began to sleep less. The normally rambunctious life that once filled the common room was replaced by low conversation. The students that were especially concerning were Bakugo and Todoroki. Bakugo went silent. Anytime someone approached him, he would set of explosions to keep them away. Todoroki became cold and angry. He was always a quieter kid, but now his whole demeanor had changed.
I felt their pain. Izuku changed this class for the better and now with him gone, no one knows what to do.
I walked up to the meeting room and sat down. The head of Police and other Pro heroes like Hawks, Kamui woods, Fat Gum, and Rock Lock had been called into the meeting.
"As you all know, Izuku Midoriya has been captured." The air in the room grew thick. "We know that previously, the Leauge experimented on Izuku trying to make him into a weapon. Now that he has been captured again, we can only assume that the temperamental Shigiraki is not very pleased by his rescue." Nezu looked up. "We also know that the League had purposefully faked the death of the student Katsuki Bakugo. Someone very close to Midoriya. Midoriya currently thinks that the person he cares for the most is gone. We don't know how he will react to this information and we don't know how the villains will manipulate the boys mental state." I was now furious, trying to keep myself together as Nezu spoke.
"We have already started investigating possible hideouts and have a few leads. However, it will take some time." He paused again, his frustration now rising to the surface. "While this investigation is underway, I'd like to request that you all keep your eyes out for anything and everything. No stone left unturned." Everyone nodded in agreement. "As for you Eraserhead, I would like you to keep training your students to prepare them for the provisional licensing exams."
"What?!" I yelled, abruptly standing up. Nezu lifted a hand.
"Let me explain." I growled as I sat down. "Your students have all taken this very hard. Not only do they need something to look forward too, but I'm certain that when we find Izuku's location a few of your students will go even if we tell them no." I was beginning to understand. "So, it's best to have them get the licenses so they can accompany us legally and we won't have any unforeseen issues." I slowly nodded. I know he's right. I'm certain a specific hot headed blonde would dive in no matter what the situation. "The test is in a week. Please, get them ready."
The meeting broke off and I went back to see my students. "You will all be taking the provisional licensing exams next week." This was met with the same reaction I had given.
"No way!"
"We should be looking for Izuku!"
"Forget the exams, we have to find our friend!"
I stayed silent as they voiced their discontent.
"Look. I know, we all want to get Izuku back as quickly as we can, but you all can't do that if you bust onto the scene without a license. The police are investigating possible leads as we speak, so we don't have any information anyway." I sighed. I felt my eyes begin to water. "I know Izuku wouldn't want you all to stop your progress because of him, so let's do this the right way."
They all looked a t me with a new fire in their eyes. Bakugo seemed to have gotten his back too, tears streamed down his face.
"Icyhot!" He yelled. "We are sparring. Let's go." They left to the training grounds, closely followed by the rest of the class.
"We're gunna get you out of the Izuku. Just hang in there." I whispered to myself.

Izuku POV
I woke up to a splitting headache. The cold air stinging my exposed scalp. I groaned and tried to move. I found myself still latched into the metal chair, but I wasn't in the bar anymore. The walls around me were a dirty white, scuff marks lined the walls and floor. I looked around to see one door and a camera attached to the ceiling. I looked to my side to find a table with a large assortment of tools. Plyers, hammers, a butchers knife, a serrated knife, and a bottle of clear alcohol. There were a few other things just out of reach of my eye. My blind spot left the entire right side of the room up to my imagination.
I sat in the white silence for what felt like hours. I remembered my time with Kacchan. Thinking back on his bright red eyes and the warmth he held. Tears fell down my face as I looked at my lap.
I heard the dangling of keys and the door opened. Shigiraki stepped through the door. Seeing that it was him, I let my head drop down again. I just want to be home. Laying on the couch watching Harry Potter with my class. Drinking coffee with Zawa. Laughing with Zashi. Playing chess with Nezu. Holding Kacchan......
"Oh, Number seven. Why the long face?" I didn't respond. "Answer me." He said sternly, kicking me hard in the shin. I hissed in pain, still leaving my head down.
He growled in frustration. He walked to the side, just out of my eyesight. I struggled, trying to keep my eyes on him. I heard him sifting through things for a few minutes and without warning, he pulled my head back by my hair. I let out a panicked breath. He touched my face with his dry fingers, pulling my eye open. He held a bottle that looked like eye drops above me. He let a few drops of the clear liquid hit my eye. It stung slightly at the contact. I growled and shook my head, trying to get his nasty hands off of me.
"You're about to have some real fun Izuku." Him saying my name sent a chill through my body.
"Wh-what w-was that?" I asked, my voice wavering slightly. Leaned down and smiled, observing the panic that was clouding my eyes. Without a word he left. I sat in the empty room left with my own thoughts. After a few minutes, I started to feel funny. I felt everything, but I also felt miles away from myself. I lifted my head slowly, my mouth hanging open slightly. The room seemed to move. I kept seeing figures in the corner of my eye, only to have them rush out of sight quickly.
My heart began to beat faster. "W-what is going on?" I asked. It felt like the room was full of people. Surely one of them would know what was going on. I heard voices out in the hall. They sounded familiar.
"No way man, you're wrong."
"Tch, whatever." Kacchan.
"KACCHAN!" I screamed, happy tears falling from my face. I heard his voice grow louder. He's alive! "Kacchan I'm in here! Please!" I screamed, pulling my self towards the door. The restraints dug into my skin. I heard his footsteps.
"Shitty hair you don't know what you're talking about." His conversation carried on. "Kacchan!" I yelled hearing their voices fade. "No! KATSUKI!" I screamed. My voice breaking as I shouted to him. Soon the voices were gone.
"He was here. Wasn't he?" Figures of red started to pop up in the room. Standing there silently. "Why did they leave me?" I asked one of the figures. I felt myself began to panic as voices filled the room.
"You're never going to get out of here."
"Kacchan died because of you."
"Why did you fight back? Now everyone is going to get hurt because of you."
"NO!" I thrashed against the straps. "Don't touch them! Leave them alone!"
I squirmed and cried for hours. The voices filling my mind. At one point I saw Kacchan, just sitting against the wall infront of me. Watching. I couldn't take it.
"He's not real. He's not here." I chocked out between sobs. I closed my eyes trying to clear my head. When I opened them, he was gone. My breathing was heavy. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. It's my fault. It's my fault you're dead!" I began to cough, struggling to breathe. I leaned my head back in the chair and closed my eyes, trying to get through whatever was happening.
A day passed by before anyone entered the room again. It was the lizard man. He walked up to me and I began to push myself away from him. "N-n-no g-get aw-way." My voice was hoarse from the screaming. He looked at me with an almost sad expression.
"I'm sorry kid." He walked to the side of me and just like Shigiraki, he was in my blind spot. I had a worrying feeling that there was a lot of stuff hidden behind me. I heard him shift a few things around and walk back up behind me. He quickly pushed my forehead to the chair, holding the same eye drops from before. I panicked.
"N-no! No please! Not again! I'm b-begging y-you!" I pleaded. My wrists began to bleed from me struggling against the tight straps. I tried moving me head to avoid the drops. He missed the first few, curssing me and getting more aggressive. He eventually got three drops into my eyes.
He started to walk back to the door. "W-w-why?" I asked softly. Tears streaming down my face. He continued to walk out of the room, but for some reason, he left it open. I stared into a dark hallway. Why would they leave it open? I could escape that way. No, that's too obvious. They must have something planned. I sat there for a few minutes, watching the hallway for any movement.
"Izuku! Deku! Izu, where are you?" Familiar voices rang through the hall.
"Izu?"
My eyes widened. "M-m-mom?" She was standing in the hall.
"Izu I thought I told you to be strong."
"I-i-i'm trying. Mom I'm t-trying. It's j-just s-so hard." I choked out, struggling to understand the situation. My thoughts were clouded again. I watched her, observing the features that I had forgotten. "M-mom. I-i miss y-you." She just smiled. She turned around to leave.
Once she was gone the voices came back. They were so loud, screaming in my ears. Kacchan stood in the hall, silently watching me again. "K-kacchan." I slurred. He turned away.
I was drugged like this for days. My hallucinations felt so real each time. Haunting me. I kept thinking I was about to be saved. I would hear dad, All Might, Nezu, papa, my classmates, everyone I held dear. They all walked past me, leaving me here to rot.
