Calm and peaceful was the land

Less sufferings, much happiness,

Pile of dreams and plans at hand

In a spur of moment, it all became sadness

The giant rose from beneath,

With height as tall as the tallest hill

Crushing everything from a stone

Bringing the world to a standstill

Dreams shattered, kin lost

Families separated, irreparable damage

Heartbroken and tear-filled wails

The world witnessed an apocalyptic change

The darkest day hovered on earth

To mark this destruction for years

That wiped out most of the terrain

Drowning the people in an ocean of tears

This damage so intense, we know

The pain of the people would never cease

Yet, to all those who lost their lives

May their souls rest in peace.!
