"Jeno, sweetheart, I think you should send Jisung with Karina for the meantime." Mrs. Lee smiles.
Her son hums in agreement, "Sungie, baby," he calls and walks over to his son. "Can you wait for papa to finish his work?"
Jisung smiles up at him, Woozi still holding on a small toy for him to play with. "Where will Sungie go? Will papa take long?" He asks, as always.
Meetings are long, but for Jeno, he tries his best to make sure it's not long enough before Jisung starts crying loudly as his wail echoes through the hallways of the whole floor.
"Sungie will play with auntie Karina, okay?" He points at his childhood best friend who smiles at them with a small friendly wave. "Papa won't take long," smiling at the end.
Nodding obediently, Jisung reaches up on his tippy toes to kiss Jeno's cheek, "bye bye papa! Sungie loves you." He said, running towards Karina and accepting her hand invite.
They held hands as Karina also waves at Jeno, "I'll take care of him." She smiles, fixing her suit jacket that fitted her well.
With one last wave of the two, they left the room and headed off to somewhere Jisung might be interested enough to get him atleast distracted for him not to bother the meeting.
Luckily, Karina knew him well and didn't have any hard times to watch over the little boy.
Jeno didn't have a hard time about it either. As long as it's either Karina or Woozi, Jisung is in good hands.
Jeno trusts Karina so much, they're basically siblings at this point. She is one of his role models, especially in their company.
"Take a seat, Jeno." His father interrupts his train of thoughts and gestures at the empty and unreserved seats.
Smiling, Jeno takes the seat next to his mother, Woozi was on the side of him. The elder chewing his lower lip as they waited for the guests to enter.
Honestly, the elder was just nervous on what his cousin would react when he knows what's happening. More on, who's being dragged into this as well.
He really wanted to just tell his cousin beforehand, but there's two reasons as to why he didn't and just prayed for the best.
One, is Mrs. Lee told him to not say a word about it, Mr. Lee also shrugged along.
Two, is that they all know it could go downhill before they could even meet the guests as Jeno would probably go off on this and leave.

Jeno couldn't believe what he's hearing, seeing, and being associated on.
"So basically, you two are getting married! Yay~ isn't that fun?" Mrs. Lee chirps, eyes slightly shaking on what her son is about to do or say.
"Why?" Was all Jeno could blurt out, his eyes shaking visibly at the person across from him on the table. Looking away the next second as he felt like he was about to burst out the water works.
He didn't want that, especially in front of him.
"It's for the benefit of our business," his father says gently, hoping it could ease the rising tension in the room. "Not only that, but we sort of owe them." He adds.
"Owe what?" Jeno asks again, his voice was in a mumble but they know not to rely on it.
"It's best to tell you another time, sweetie." Mrs. Lee answers him, fiddling with her entwined fingers on the table.
Ignoring the other pairs of eyes on him, especially the ones across from him who was raising a brow at what they're witnessing. "So you think it's a good idea to just send me off to marry an asshole?" He bursts out.
There it is.
"Jeno!" Mrs. Lee scolds, "mind your manners and don't call Jaemin that word." She said.
Scoffing, Jeno looks at Jaemin and glares. "Because what? He's going to be my husband who will love me forever, care for me, treat me well?" He lists off sarcastically.
"Jeno-"
"This is dumb. I'm not marrying a douchebag like him, even if we will get married, he can go off and fuck any bitches he wants. I don't care." He huffs.
"Lee Jeno, that's enough!" His mother once again, stops him from ranting about the situation and insulting his fiance in the meantime.
"You two will get married and that's final. No more further arguments, so I suggest for you to apologize and get along with Jaemin over here." She said, gesturing at the said male who was just silently observing them.
Rolling his eyes, Jeno forced out a chuckle of sarcasm, "only if he apologizes first." He said, standing up abruptly while Woozi follows suit, stumbling on his feet.
"Jeno! Where are you going?" His father calls out in a panic, Mrs. Lee rubbing her temples on her seat as the guests were awkwardly just sitting there.
"Home! I'm leaving!" The boy replied, stomping over to the door.
"You guys didn't even say hi or shake hands or like greeted each other yet!" Mr. Lee stops him from leaving.
Grumbling, Jeno turns around to face them as Woozi was beside him now.
"Good morning to you Na Family, Mr. and Mrs. Na, thank you for joining us. Na Jaemin, appreciate your presence. Now, if you will excuse me, I have to go home." He grins out sarcastically.
He gritted his teeth at the mention of Na Jaemin's name. That dumb asshole dared to come back to his life.
"Wait, Jeno! Come back here." Mrs. Lee calls out, standing up once Jeno had successfully left the room and was probably now getting Jisung so they could go back to his parents' house.
He really needs his own house now, especially after what happened.
(A/N: I honestly forgot if I mentioned if he lived in his own place or his parents' place, and I'm too in a rush to finish this and check. Sorry.)
Groaning to herself, Mrs. Lee smiles guiltily at the guests. "I'm so sorry about him, he's just... Overwhelmed."
"It's okay." Mr. Na said, his wife agreeing with a nod. "But why didn't you tell him beforehand? I assume you didn't after what happened." He genuinely states.
"You wouldn't be able to meet him if we did." Mr. Lee shrugged.
"Well, I suppose it's a working progress. We can meet up again, tomorrow or something." Mrs. Na suggested, smiling.
They all glanced at Jaemin who blinks, "yeah... That would be great." He gave a small smile, they all sighed in relief before he asks.
"Why is he really mad at me?" Eyeing Jeno's mother, raising a brow making him look serious.
The woman just smiles it off, crooked and reaches over to place her hand on his shoulder. "It's best if we tell you another time."
"More like if Jeno tells him." Mr. Lee mumbled.
"Shush, he will."
