Mrs. Lee immediately replaces her strict and scolding look on her face into a more friendly and sweet look when Jeno's bedroom door opens revealing Jisung.

"Hi Granny!" The little boy greeted his grandma, eyes smiling just like his papa's.

"Hello Sungie," the lady said sweetly, "is your papa in here?" Glancing behind Jisung as she asked him about his papa's whereabouts.

Nodding obediently, "he's in bed." He points at his papa who's indeed in bed, laptop playing a youtube video while he had a bowl of grapes on his bedside table.

Clearing her throat loudly to get her son's attention, Jeno groans and pauses the video. "Sungie, what did papa tell you about pointing at people?" He scolded as he sat up.

Feeling guilty, Jisung runs up to his papa, "to not do it because it's rude," he recalls and hugs the adult. "I'm sorry papa." Apologizing as he did so.

Sighing, Jeno ruffles his son's hair and turns his face back to look at his mother. "What do you want, mom?" He asked.

Scoffing, Mrs. Lee shakes her head. "To have a word with you, privately." She drawls, her tone giving a sign of a warning to not go against her this time with her eyes stern.

Jeno immediately puts his stubbornness to the side, huffing and sweetly smiling at his son who looked up at him. "Jisungie, can you wait for papa downstairs patiently? Granny and I have to talk, okay?"

Humming with a nod, Jisung, as always have been taught to be obedient towards his papa, smiles and kisses Jeno's cheek. "Otay!" He said before running off towards the door.

"Be careful and behave!" Jeno yells out, earning a 'yes!' in return before a squeal was heard and Woozi's laugh followed suit.

Closing the door gently, Mrs. Lee walks over to Jeno's bed, her heels clicking on the floor while her son just stared at her blankly.

"You're going to scold me now for being a brat towards our guests? Especially him?" He boldly said.

Mrs. Lee sits beside his legs, sighing and placing her hand on Jeno's lap. "I'm here to ask you to fix your attitude with them," she said

"Mr and Mrs. Na? For sure, Na Jaemin? Sorry, not." Jeno added the last part immediately with a smile.

Rolling her eyes, Mrs. Lee pursed her lips. "Why don't you get along with him, he's going to be your husband soon." She suggested.

Snorting in sarcasm, Jeno shakes his head. "I don't want him to be my husband. Hell, I didn't agree to this at all, maybe that's why it's called a 'force marriage' for a reason, hmm?"

"But he's your–"

"Don't say it, mother." Jeno cuts her off, his tone strict and his eyes shook with a warning. He really hates this topic.

"But he has to know, you can't lie to him forever. Now that you guys are technically engaged." His mother highlights her words with a light tone.

Seeing how Jeno kept quiet, she continues. "Either way, he'll know the truth, dear." She gently said.

Her son sniffles, "why are you guys making me do this? You know this is permanent for not only me, but for Jisung's life." He croaks.

Sighing softly, Mrs. Lee grabs his hands into hers, grasping on them gently. "We owe it to them, darling. It's a long story, but they basically helped us."

Pausing, she sighs and squeezed Jeno's hands with a reassuring smile. "I'll tell you another time though, only when you tell Jaemin about the truth."

Wiping his teary eyes, Jeno asks. "So you're just going to basically send me off to marry a man I dislike, who has hurt me, for something they did before?"

Mrs. Lee replies with a small nod, Jeno forcing out a chuckle. "And I thought you guys cared for me, protect me from pain."

"We do–"

"If you guys did, you wouldn't be putting me in a situation I didn't agree on, especially when my own son will be involved in it for the rest of our lives."

"Jeno, this may sound and look like the biggest thorn in a bush you've got on your body, but the thorn will be pulled out and we can treat the wound as quickly as we can." The woman says.

Chewing the inside of his cheek, Mrs. Lee pursed her lips. "But the question is, can you handle the pain for the time being? That's on you, sweetie."

Pondering in thought, Jeno replies, "I've been through worst." He mumbled while his mother hums.

"Look, we're sorry about this whole thing. But sooner or later, the answers will be clear and everything will be alright." She said.

Wiping his runny nose this time, her son asked, "what if something bad happens?"

"Then call us, tell us if Jaemin did something to you badly, if he has hurt you again. Not only you, but Jisung too." She replied.

Sighing, Jeno played with the end of his sweater as he began to think of his decision. "There's no way getting out of this deal, huh?" He chuckled once again, forced as he meets his mother's eyes.

The woman smiles in pity, "I'm sorry," she shook her head to answer his question.

Shrugging, Jeno sniffled with his still runny nose. "It's whatever," he mumbled. "What did you guys talked about when I left?" He asked.

"We agreed to meet up and try again tomorrow," Mrs. Lee answers briefly. "Jaemin agreed as well." She added with a knowing tone.

Sensing the hint his mother is giving him, he sighed. "What time?" He asked.

"We were thinking of a breakfast date." The woman said, making Jeno's eyes widen, flustered with her answer. "But us adults will join you guys, for now." She reassures.

Still a bit hesitant, Jeno just nodded stiffly. "And what about Jisung?"

"Of course you'll have to bring him," Mrs. Lee gave a look.

Rolling his eyes, "that's a good idea." He comments sarcastically making his mother grunt. "Fine, whatever."

"But the time of telling him is your choice, Jeno. I'm not forcing you to tell him immediately, but I'm suggesting you to tell him sooner than later." Mrs. Lee said.

Clicking his tongue, Jeno hums at her. "So, when will you tell him?" The woman hesitantly asks, carefully looking at her son's facial expressions.

"After breakfast. Maybe."

His words only got a hum, before Mrs. Lee opens her arms, "hug mama?" She beckons. Jeno lets out a breath with a tired smile before going in for a hug, her arms surrounding her son tightly.

"Mama loves you, baby." She whispered on his crown, giving a small kiss on it.

A voice suddenly interrupts them, not hearing the door open ajar. "Hugging without papa? You two are mean." Mr. Lee pouts, earning a giggle from Jeno and a scoff from his wife.
